A violent, operatic rise-and-fall story set in the world of Miami drug cartels, Scarface has become one of the most iconic and frequently quoted films in movie history. Al Pacino (The Godfather, Heat) stars as Tony Montana, a Cuban refugee who claws his way from nothing to the top of a brutal cocaine empire. Pacino's ferocious performance helped redefine the gangster archetype — balancing charisma, paranoia, ambition, and explosive violence. The film also features Steven Bauer (Ray Donovan, Breaking Bad) as Tony's loyal best friend Manny Ribera, Michelle Pfeiffer (Batman Returns, Dangerous Liaisons) as the icy and enigmatic Elvira Hancock, and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (The Abyss, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) as Tony's younger sister Gina Montana. Robert Loggia (Big, Jagged Edge) appears as drug boss Frank Lopez, whose downfall marks Tony's ruthless ascent. Iconic moments include the chainsaw motel scene, “The World Is Yours” blimp, Tony's decadent rise into wealth and paranoia, and, of course, the explosive, unforgettable finale featuring the legendary line: "Say hello to my little friend!” With Giorgio Moroder's synth-driven score, stylized direction, and raw themes of greed, power, and self-destruction, Scarface remains a defining film of the 1980s and a towering, almost Shakespearean entry in the crime genre... This week in Sea of Thieves, Rare has released the latest patch, which includes quick swap ranged weapons as well as the return of Reaper Chests to the Fort of the Damned. A quality of life update came with the reduction of black screens for lower-end hardware. The biggest thing right now is that Rare is looking to sell you a customizable audio setup for $20 to simulate 7.1 channel audio for the game. While it remains to be seen how good this actually is, a lot of the community is calling out Rare for trying to charge for this new feature that no one asked for. As the party continues their short rest, taking stock, and figuring out next steps, Shanks is in pursuit of their sniper assailant. When the group is ready to go, thanks to the help of Yurik's sentient blade, they begin heading deeper into the city. The once-bustling streets and seemingly thriving city look nothing like what was described before the invasion took place. A marketplace now in ruins, the group splits to cover more ground and look for clues as to where Enich can be. Thankfully, Arguile knows Thieves' Cant and can make out some messages that help clue him into a possible location for his brother. The party makes their way inside a shop to investigate further. As this is happening, Zechs is getting information relayed to him via Shanks. He's in pursuit of the sniper, and he suspects the group is being tracked somehow, again. Zechs relays the information to the group, and Arguile begins to ritually cast identify until they hear something significant approaching them outside. Glad, Yurik, and Galahad immediately go outside, with the rest following soon after. They find themselves face-to-face with a large iron golem, and another fight commences. It's not much later that they hear even more enemies approaching them, and the party braces itself for another long and arduous fight. Meanwhile, at the sniper's last known location, Shanks is making a tactical assessment of how to approach and what out of his bag of goodies he can use to bring the house down. After some time, a lot of triple-checking his work, and a lot of second-guessing himself, he decides how he's going to make quite the explosive display and not get himself caught in the blast. The pieces are set, the match is lit, and a fuse is ready to go boom! There's so much happening, and that's where we pick up…Find out what happens next in this episode of the Medusa's Cascade: Collateral Damage!Theme Music is written and performed by EfflorescenceMixed by Thomas Lapierre IIICheck out the show at themedusascascade.com

The central theme of this podcast episode revolves around the cinematic exploration of the film "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves," a motion picture released in 1991 that has garnered a significant amount of both admiration and criticism over the years. We delve into the juxtaposition of the film's intended dramatic narrative against the unintentional comedic elements that have emerged, particularly through the performance of Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Nottingham, whose portrayal has become a focal point of enjoyment amidst the film's shortcomings. The discourse further examines the peculiarities of Kevin Costner's performance, his lack of an English accent, and how these aspects contribute to the overall reception of the film. Additionally, we contemplate the film's historical context, character dynamics, and the nostalgic value it holds for audiences, despite its apparent flaws. Ultimately, we arrive at a consensus that, while the film may not align with conventional standards of cinematic excellence, it remains a source of entertainment and laughter, particularly when viewed through the lens of its unintended humor.Support us:https://www.patreon.com/whatsourverdictEmail us: hosts@whatsourverdict.comFollow us:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/whatsourverdictTwitter: @whatsourverdictInstagram: @whatsourverdictYouTube: https://youtube.com/channel/UC-K_E-ofs3b85BnoU4R6liAVisit us:www.whatsourverdict.com

Jonathan Walton describes himself as a ‘con-hunter' but that's not what he set out to be. The tv producer turned vigilante after he was scammed by con artist Marianne Smyth, the so-called ‘Queen of Con'. Over several years he had handed his supposed best friend Smyth, who claimed to be an Irish heiress, over $100,000. She was a lifelong con-artist, using a range of strategies, lies and aliases – posing as Jennifer Anniston, becoming a satanic priestess, claiming to be on the IRA's army council, pretending to have cancer. Smyth was sentenced in September to 4 years in jail at Downpatrick crown court as it was revealed that she had scammed over £100,000 from people in Northern Ireland. Jonathan Walton has written a book on his experience with the fraudster. This week in Sea of Thieves, it's a shame we have to do this song and dance one more time. Season 18 has been delayed, and while we're getting quality of life updates this month, the release of new content is going to be pushed out further than anticipated. I cover a bunch in this episode, but a lot of this is my thoughts on Rage and Bone Crates, Overhealth, and the overall design of Sea of Thieves and Rare not being able to stick to timelines for very long. By the end, you'll know how to check every connection, test authenticity, and keep your channel clear—no fear, just mastery. ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 – Have you ever met a "brilliantly spiritual" energy thief? 00:23 – Welcome & why this show focuses on charlatans 01:21 – Dream #1: Fully Understanding All Other Beings 02:17 – Kay's multilingual channeling gift—and why it makes her a target 03:11 – Spirit masks: what they are and why beings wear them 04:46 – How to check behind the mask (and why no one in the light hides) 06:18 – When the mask belongs to a "teacher" or higher self 07:32 – The rule: trust must be verified, not assumed 08:39 – Never speak your channel out loud—here's why 10:09 – Testing high-level angels with your sword of light 11:23 – Dream #2: Finding Who Knocked the Ball Off 13:31 – Devil's tail and karmic replay: tracing hidden interference 17:00 – Why you have every right to validate credentials 18:19 – Dream #3: Something Cool Happening with the Clouds 20:27 – Construction scenes & ascension work 23:11 – The chauffeur trap: how false groups lure gifted souls 25:21 – Why she's told "Don't wake the sleepers" 29:05 – Future warnings: why dreams show what's coming 30:27 – How to protect your energy at spiritual events 31:22 – Closing: be thorough, not fearful Talk to Sandy about our courses https://bookings.theaislingschool.com/sandy/got-questions Courses: https://www.dream-analysis.com/courses Download Free dictionary: https://www.dream-analysis.com/ Submit your dream: https://www.dream-analysis.com/podcast Show Archives: https://www.dream-analysis.com/podcasts/
