The 3 last months of 2024 were the most emotionally challenging months of the last three years of my Life! I truly experienced a battle of my mind! I was drowning….. but through it all God “reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. ... He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters” psalm 18:16I needed to share my experience because I know I am not the only one. May this message validate your struggle, leave you feeling seen and heard but most importantly empower you with the tools to win the battle of your mind! It is so crucial to understand not only the source of power for a christian but also the posture of power! Is it in fasting? Is it in praying? Yes this is important but it lies in a posture of total surrender not just to Christ but IN Christ.

Jesus warned His disciples ( which we are also part of) about “leavened bread” for which Jesus Meant to be the doctrine of the Pharisees. In the times we are living in, it is so crucial to stay in the secret place so we can spiritually discern when “bread” which is the word of God has been interpreted or mixed with a leaven agent such as yeast ( compromised messages, false doctrine, tradition being presented as the word of God). Anyone, any preacher is at risk if they don't stay in the secret place! May all messages flow from the secret place, a secret place that God visits because the owner of the secret place fears God and desires His will. God shares His secrets ONLY with friends, friendship being with those who fear Him ( psalm 25:4). That friendship is developed through communication IN THE SECRET PLACE! A public ministry without a secret place is dangerous and prone to passing leavened bread to God's people! God warns that for those who cause the little ones to stumble there is a greater punishment. Don't feed his children leavened bread!

During my 40 days of praying and fasting the Lord took me through so many things that I am so grateful for. One of them was the process of identifying areas in my own life that the Lord wanted to “unbound”.
