in the first of the second series we discuss techniques of examination of children with ENT problems in outpatients. This is a topic I find occasionally quite challenging and it is not something that is discussed and taught as much as more surgical aspects of paediatric ENTI'm joined by David Albert (GOSH), Mike Kuo (Birmingham Children's Hospital) and Neil Bateman (Manchester Children's Hospital) for the discussion. It was recorded in Neil's kitchen in Sheffield towards the end of 2021 after a long day teaching at an emergency airway course in Doncaster. Apologies for the noise and the excessive giggling. the first road trip for the BAPO podcast as I travel up to London to speak to Michelle Wyatt from GOSH and Dan Tweedie from the Evalina Hosptial. We talk about tonsillectomy, particularly intracapsular coblation, about their favourite ENT operations and we also have a  new 1980s funk-style intro tune. Maisie the BAPO dog is now well established as the continuity announcer.

The sound recording on this one is not great as we were using Zoom and my voice is quite distorted. I had to edit this quite hard with recording software to make it even vaguely bearable.
