George Humphreys, the author of 'The Fall of Kentucky's Rock' Democratic Politics Since the New Deal, joins Nick Storm for a conversation about his book, and the political shift toward Republicans in Western Kentucky. 

Over the course of the podcast, Tres Watson and Kentucky Fried Politics host Nick Storm discuss the state of journalism, Kentucky media and their recent stories on mask mandates, the national media's influence on major elections and how national media portrays Kentucky's elections often picking favorites, the special legislative session, and they end the program discussing the three upcoming special elections in Kentucky.
