If you thought part 1 was jaw-dropping, you're NOT ready for the second half. Gregory Hartley and I dive into one of the wildest “he said, she said” true crime stories, where the difference between life and death comes down to tiny, split-second clues in body language. Want to know how to spot a liar in real time? Or how to tell the difference between someone genuinely afraid and someone just putting on a show? This episode is filled with practical, empowering insight that you're going to use for the rest of your life.We break down the testimony from a brutal attempted cliff murder (the Koenig case), showing you signs of lying, truthfulness, shock, and residual emotion, with step-by-step analysis you can apply to your own gut instincts. Plus, Greg gives us the science behind culture, gender, “women's intuition,” and why some people refuse to see the truth (until it's too late). There's even a rapid-fire game to test your own skills. This isn't just for true crime lovers, it's survival 101 for every woman who refuses to be caught off guard ever again.SHOWNOTESComparing his and her stories: congruency, illustration, and the gestures that mean “truth”Adapting, stress, and grooming: The difference between nervous energy and a liar's “tell”Why neither side wants to reveal every detail, and where the truth hidesMemory, trauma, and why big stress rewires what you actually recallCultures, gender, and why you can't spot red flags until you know their baselineHarsh truths: Why the most dangerous men are the ones you already knowThe Pink & Blue Flag Game: Who lies better, who cracks first, and why women's intuition can save your lifeFollow Gregory Hartley:Website: https://readbodylanguage.comYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@thebehaviorpanelFOLLOW LISA BILYEU:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lisabilyeu/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/womenofimpactTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@lisa_bilyeu?lang=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/lisabilyeuThank you to today's sponsors:Shopify: Sign up for your one-dollar-per-month trial period at https://shopify.com/lisaOneSkin: 15% off with code LISA at https://oneskin.co/lisaSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Do you ever wonder if you'd know how to spot a dangerous man before it's too late? Or feel like your intuition is screaming at you, but you just can't put your finger on why? This episode is an absolute masterclass in reading people, protecting yourself, and never again missing the signs that could save your life. I'm joined by one of the world's top experts in body language, interrogation, and deception detection, Gregory Hartley. He's spent decades training military, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies, and now, he's here to give US the tools to see what others miss.We break down the infamous Scott Peterson case, why the man who murdered his wife fooled so many, and the real red flags that women too often overlook. Greg walks through the real signals of grief, shock, and deception (in the wild and in relationships), and gives me and all of you a crash course on how to spot liars, manipulators, and the body language tells that might literally save your life. Most B2B marketers think branding is a logo and a tagline. Erik Koenig thinks it’s a line on the floor left by a robot. And that instinct is exactly what separates a trusted brand from another systems integrator in a sea of sameness. In this episode of He Said, She Said: Razor Branding™, Jaci and Michael sit down with Erik Koenig, Vice President of Business Development at Hy-Tek Intralogistics — a warehouse automation and systems integration firm helping companies connect products to customers faster through robotics, conveyors, software, and engineering-driven design. Erik came up in B2C agencies working with Colgate-Palmolive, Butterball, and Walmart before making the jump to the client side, and he has spent the last decade proving that the fundamentals of brand strategy translate everywhere. They get into how Erik builds a lean internal team that operates like an agency, how a 50×50 multi-story trade show booth lives or dies by its content schedule, why AI is both the biggest threat and the best intelligence tool in his toolkit, and how he’s fighting to keep the human voice at the center of everything before answer engines rewrite the rules. If you’re a B2B marketer trying to build a real brand inside a complex, engineering-driven company without losing what makes you different — this one’s for you.

When we think of safety concerns in aviation, it's easy to become fixated on the mechanical issues – but the human factor is also a major issue, and stress and burnout in such a high-pressure industry can only make it worse. It's easy to ignore the early warning signs of stress and try to push through, but according to neuroscientist Annett Koenig, that can only compound the issue, leading to neurological issues that can even mirror the symptoms of epilepsy. As engineering-related incidents continue to improve, the human factor is still lagging behind – so what kind of safety issues can stress cause, and how can they be addressed? On this week's Australian Aviation Podcast, Jake talks to Koenig about the causes, effects, and solutions to chronic stress in the aviation sector.

Acclaimed educator and author Joan Koenig explains why music belongs in every home, why you don't need any musical training to nurture a child's musicality, and how simple, joyful music-making can help children become happier, healthier, and more whole. This conversation (and book) will change your view of music engagement with the littles in your life! Interview with Lea Koenig (ליאַ קעניג), one of Israel's most beloved stage actresses, together with Yaniv Goldberg, author of The Stage of Her Life: Conversations with Actress Lea Koenig on Theater and Her Life. The program focuses on Koenig's long career in Yiddish theater as well as Israeli Hebrew-language theater, TV and film. Born into a Yiddish theatrical family, Koenig became known internationally for her work in both Yiddish and Hebrew. Goldberg's book, published in late 2025 by Academic Studies Press of Newton, Massachusetts, grew out of years of conversations with Koenig about her life, her artistry, her Yiddish background and her central place in Israeli cultural life. Dr. Yaniv Shimon Goldberg is a lecturer at Bar-Ilan University and an expert on the Yiddish language and Jewish theater. He is also a rabbi, attorney, theater director and scholar of law and theater whose work includes research on legal issues in Yiddish drama. Goldberg’s reading of brief excerpts from his introduction to the book (in English) are interspersed at a couple of points during the interview. The interview included actors and Yiddish activists Mikhl Yashinsky and Hy Wolfe as special guest co-hosts. We did the interview on Zoom on May 6, 2026. Yaniv and Lea participated from Lea’s home in Tel Aviv; Mikhl was on tour in Australia; and Hy was at his home in New York City. Jesus Protects His Own From Harm: Reviewed and revised Approved RJC by Reynold Conger https://www.amazon.com/Jesus-Protects-His-Own-Harm/dp/B0FD2FP6YM Jacob Koenig is pastor of a church near Albuquerque, New Mexico, when he decides to retire. He is the author of the recently published book, Take the Truth to Mecca, that instructs Christians how to convey a message to Muslims. While church members worry that if the book is released in Saudi Arabia, someone will want him dead, Pastor Koenig hopes his words will sow seeds in the minds of unbelievers. When a mullah is offended by Koenig's book, he organizes a group of men to locate and execute the pastor who is now a missionary serving six churches on an Indian reservation in North Dakota. One of Koenig's congregants is Charlie, a cowardly teenager who isn't sure about the existence of God, but overhears the group's plans, lets his friends know, and then prays for a miracle to save the pastor. When Charlie hears a voice that commands him to save Koenig during a brutal attack by the group, he singlehandedly and without arms, confronts the aggressors. Will he be successful in thwarting the execution or will the pastor make the ultimate sacrifice? In this Christian thriller, God uses a fearful teenager to physically defend a pastor after he is attacked by a group of men with an evil mission.

Worker Centered: Allyship & Action in the Contemporary Labor Movement (Oxford UP, 2024) is a close-to-the-ground, ethnographic narrative of a workplace organizing campaign at a company whose workforce was primarily low wage and immigrant. The book details the overall strategy of the campaign and its ultimate failure to win its core demands. The organization used an innovative strategic model and insisted on the importance of worker leadership. And yet allies and staff participated in a campaign that, although continually framed as such, was decidedly not led by workers. Ultimately, Worker Centered challenges conventional notions of political representation, inviting reflection on the complexities of organizing the marginalized and speaking on their behalf. Our guest Biko Koenig is an Assistant Professor in the Government and Public Policy programs at Franklin & Marshall college in Lancaster, PA. He is also co-founder of Research Action, a worker-owned research and organizing firm that performs research and analysis for unions, solidarity economy organizations, community groups and social justice campaigns. Trained as an ethnographer and qualitative specialist at the New School for Social Research, Koenig's research investigates questions of political behavior and mobilization that centers the experiences of everyday actors as they seek to challenge status-quo power relationships. Getting The Truth : I Am DB Cooper - By Joe KoenigGetting the Truth: I Am D.B. Cooper by Joe Koenig is a book that argues military parachutist and convicted criminal Walter Reca was the infamous D.B. Cooper, the man who hijacked a plane in 1971 and escaped with $200,000. Koenig, a former Michigan State Police investigator, presents his case by analyzing evidence and interviewing key witnesses, including Reca's best friend, Carl Laurin, who is also the author of a related memoir. The book supports the theory that Reca, who died in 2014, was the hijacker, a conclusion Koenig reached after comparing his findings with the FBI's. Author:Joe Koenig, a retired Michigan State Police investigator and certified fraud examiner.Core Argument:The book asserts that Walter Reca (also known as Walt Peca) was D.B. Cooper.Evidence:Koenig uses his investigative background to scrutinize documents and interview witnesses, including Carl Laurin, who claims Reca confessed to him.Context:It's part of a larger effort to solve the mystery, alongside other books and documentaries that point to Reca as the culprit.https://amzn.to/4lf0U9WBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.
