Following Election Day's Republican sweep, The New Abnormal co-hosts Andy Levy and Danielle Moodie say it's time for Democrats to ditch their “Republican-lite” strategy and let more rising party leaders like Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett “tell it like it is.” Plus! Renée DiResta, associate research professor at Georgetown University, delves into her new book, Invisible Rulers: The People Who Turn Lies into Reality. Democrats can use this election loss to win the future. Brian interviews Pod Save America's Jon Lovett to discuss whether Matt Gaetz withdrawing his Attorney General nomination means that Democrats can still have influence and where the party goes from here. Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries chats about how he's going to reconcile the need to act as a bulwark against Trump's worst impulses with the exhaustion felt by so many on the left. And Senator Amy Klobuchar joins to discuss whether there's still an appetite for Congress to release the ethics report against Gaetz, and the state of judge confirmations in the Senate.Shop merch: https://briantylercohen.com/shopYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/briantylercohenTwitter: https://twitter.com/briantylercohenFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/briantylercohenInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/briantylercohenPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/briantylercohenNewsletter: https://www.briantylercohen.com/sign-upWritten by Brian Tyler CohenProduced by Sam GraberRecorded in Los Angeles, CASee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Jon got piled on last week for tweeting that activist groups have pushed the Democratic Party out of supermajority territory. Waleed Shahid, a progressive strategist who's worked for Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Justice Democrats, joins the show for an offline version of his and Jon's online debate. Waleed explains why he thinks the blame is misplaced, and Jon weighs in on who—or what—is behind Democratic leaders losing touch with their base. But first! Trump's new head of the Federal Communications Commission, Brendan Carr, is a Project 2025 author. What does this mean for social media, free speech, and Elon Musk's ventures? Lessons from the first successful pushback against the Trump agenda, what we're getting wrong about the First Amendment and who it really protects, and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin on what we can expect from a Trump cabinet that's shaping up to be the opposite of a Team of Rivals.
On this week's episode of 'The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart': Flooding the zone. Donald Trump announces ten new cabinet picks in a weekend onslaught, including MAGA economic guru Scott Bessent, and a key architect of Project 2025. Remember the plan to remake government Trump said he wanted nothing to do with? Yeah that guy, Russell Vought. And, in a cable exclusive, my conversation with former President Bill Clinton. He has a lot to say about Trump's return to the White House, and his mind-blowing cabinet picks. Plus, balance of power: Republicans succeeded in getting Matt Gaetz out before they were forced to vote on him in the new Congress. But the question remains: Will the Republican-led Senate next year show the same moxi to block any of the other unqualified or patently unfit nominees? I have my doubts, but my political panel of Susan Del Percio and Basil Smikle weigh in on this and a whole host of other political news this week. All that and more on “The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart.”
[SEGMENT 2-1] Opportunity and Responsibility 1 I want to talk about opportunity and responsibility for the remainder of the hour… Tom Homan tweeted that BIG things are coming on the border issue soon, and not just mass deportations. I can hardly wait for him and other people Trump has tasked with changing this crooked government go to work… Rogan no longer a fan of Obama McConnell said that there would be no recess appointments, and then he went on to blank out like Biden. Joe Biden authorized Ukraine to use the missiles we sold them for long-range launches. So much for the peaceful transition of power. The cabal wants a war started under Trump. Ms Universe is from Denmark, and she is stunning How can you not continue to relish in the election victory. Despite Democrats ongoing efforts to cheat in NC and PA for examples, most of us are still basking the glow of our victory. The election of Trump was a reprieve for America. God in His infinite wisdom gave America and the world one more chance. As I heard a pastor from Prestonwood Church in Dallas say, we now have an opportunity and a responsibility. What do you plan to do? Churches are losing membership daily. You go once a week to your church, and if you're really pious may 2-3 times. But you listen to me DAILY, many of you. And while I don't pretend to be a church or a pastor, I follow God's word. I tell people about my FLAWED walk with God. I tell you that I'm not perfect, and neither are you. God knows that, in case you thought it was a secret. Why do I think God blesses me? First, because I'm me. It's that simple. The blessings don't always feel like blessings, but they are. [SEGMENT 2-2] Opportunity and Responsibility 2 Second, because I do let people know that I'm a Christ follower, and I encourage them to try it. God speaks to me, and He speaks through me. I have no idea why He gives me my topics and ideas, and I have no idea of the impact of my words. It's not my responsibility to know that. I do know that people are impacted by my work. And there is a part of me that longs for the adulation that comes from it, because I'm human. But it's not ego anymore that drives that. It's the fact that I think powerful messages need to be heard by many. Look at the hearts and minds who were changed in the last election cycle. 10 million more people voted for Trump from 2016 to 2020 and he LOST. Cheated out of what was rightfully his. Another 3-4 million crossed over in 2024. What is our plan for 2028? How many people will we bring to Conservatism? Look at the carnage of the Democrats that we discuss routinely. If you picked just one, you can find thousands of people devastated by their policies. The border invasion for example. How many Americans are impacted negatively, particularly those who have suffered violent crimes. And what of the economic toll? And what of our children? Democrats don't want them anywhere near God, so they destroy families and allow our children to make life-altering decisions about their bodies that are barbaric to say the least. Thousands of children have been impacted, and they will have lifelong mental issues because of it. We have an opportunity and a responsibility. God told me to start getting people signed up for recurring donations to support my efforts. He didn't tell me to pull a Creflo Dollar and buy a $70 million jet…YET! But he told me to start getting ready. I have no idea what for. Does He want me out doing more in front of people? I'm not sure, but I am getting ready. The 14 people who are part of Supporters on Spreaker have no idea what their participation means, but I see them as fulfilling my prophecy. The 50 people in Back Stage Club, you are fulfilling God's prophecy to me. We've been given an opportunity, and now we have a responsibility to move our message forward. God has given us 4 years to do it… [SEGMENT 2-3] Fani and Tish I told you that Trump would win, but I didn't give one of the MAIN reasons. I've discussed the topic before, and while I was forceful in what I said, I think some people might have forgotten it. You see, I was fired for calling a skank a skank. And I referred to Blasey-Ford as a skank. And while I detest Leftist “women” for reason most of America and the world detest them, the ones I detest the most are black. YOU'RE WELCOME I speak for millions in saying what you know to be true. Black Leftist women are by far the worst. [X] SB – Fox News on SCOTUS J6 ruling It seems Democrats Fani Willis and Letitia James are clinging to their cases against Donald Trump like barnacles on a sinking ship, even as the tide of political reality shifts. Special Counsel Jack Smith, sensing the winds of change, is already planning his exit—opting for self-preservation over a fight he can't win. But Willis and James? They appear intent on venturing into the proverbial haunted house, oblivious to the danger of the new sheriff in town. #5 - Charlamagne Urges Fani Willis To Drop Trump Case “Nobody's going to have your back.” “If I was Fani Willis, I wouldn't still be pursuing that case. SEGMENT 1-1] Enjoying the win 1 Bringing the PAIN to Leftism, but in a fun way. I'm glad you are here… I know people are still hesitant to enjoy our victory over the evil Democrats. And I understand it, because Conservatives are taught to be gracious losers and winners. And that's a loser's attitude. When you win you celebrate! Have you even seen a championship team quietly walk into the locker room and just grab their gear and go home. Oh. Heck. No. They cheers and hug, pop champagne. They hoists trophies in the air, and party like there's no tomorrow. And when they do interviews, they don't hold back on congratulating themselves. They don't express sorry for their opponent's loss, they discuss what it took to win, and how hard they worked, and so on. When we win, we act like we LOST. Not me. I'm celebrating through the New Year, and then I'm doubling my celebration into 2025. I'm betting on me and this movement. I'm ecstatic, delirious, rhapsodic, blissful, thrilled that we DESTROYED the Democrats. I know politically the last time I saw this carnage for myself during Reagan-Mondale. But that victory though technically bigger wasn't nearly as sweet. The fate of the world didn't necessarily depend on that election. [SEGMENT 1-2] Enjoying the win 2 [X] SB – AOC on the new world under Trump Consequences for the rest of our lives Precedent And what a comeback by Trump. What is the biggest personal victory you can compare this to. For me, Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson is the closest sport-wise, except Douglas didn't do a comeback. How do you think Buster Douglas celebrated after knocking out the guy nobody else knocked out? The man they called, “Iron” Mike. For all we know, Buster Douglas is still partying after that victory. There honestly hasn't been a more ridiculous comeback in all of human history. When the entirety of the most powerful nation on earth plots your destruction, and you end up BACK IN CHARGE. Conservatives won the biggest victory in the history of mankind, and remain afraid to celebrate. Because we don't want to be accused of over-celebrating? Is there even such a thing? Proverbs 24:17-18 “Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn His wrath away from them.” [SEGMENT 1-3] Enjoying the win 3 [X] SB – Chai Komanduri political strategist shocked by loss We did it! We smacked them. Democrats were demolished, devastated, savaged, ravished, wrecked, shattered, crushed, vanquished, and demoralized. And we still have work to do! https://www.forbes.com/sites/amymorin/2017/01/29/7-ways-to-talk-about-your-accomplishments-without-sounding-like-a-braggart/ 1. Keep The Emphasis On Your Hard Work Say, “I worked really hard to make this happen.” Listeners will respect your triumphs when they know you put in a lot of effort. 2. Don't Belittle Other People Leave out comparisons if you can. If you crossed the marathon finish line in first place, it's OK to say you were first. But don't add that the second place finisher was a mile behind you. 3. Give Credit Where It's Due Say, “I couldn't have done this without such a supportive spouse,” or, “My team really stepped it up to make this happen.” People are receptive to hearing success stories when credit is given where it's due. 4. Stick To The Facts Let other people interpret the facts. If they conclude you're an excellent leader or a rock star salesperson on their own, you'll still come across as modest. 5. Express Gratitude Show gratitude by saying, “I am so grateful that the company gave me this opportunity,” or “I'm thankful that so many people are interested in hearing my message.” 6. Don't Add A Qualifier Saying, “I hate to brag, but…” doesn't excuse showing off. In fact, it only draws attention to the fact you know what you're about to say may be a turn-off, but you're saying it anyway. Instead of a semi-apologetic warning, try saying, “I'm so excited to share my good news,” or, “I'm happy to announce…” before you tout your accomplishment. 7. Avoid The Humble-Brag It can be tempting to add a disparaging remark to offset your compliments about yourself. But saying, “I am so embarrassed I let my Lamborghini get this dirty,” won't earn you any points. In fact, studies show humble-bragging makes people sound insincere. So if you want to make a good impression, avoid disguising self-promotion as a complaint. You're better off directly communicating your accomplishments. [SEGMENT 1-4] Enjoying the win 4 "Winning Big Without Rubbing It In (Too Much)" 1. Keep The Emphasis On Your Hard WorkWe worked incredibly hard for this victory. From door-knocking to enduring endless media hit jobs, the MAGA team left no stone unturned. And the payoff? A resounding thank you from democracy itself. It's rewarding to see the fruits of all that labor bloom so beautifully... with red petals, of course. 2. Don't Belittle Other PeopleSure, the Democrats gave it their all, and we respect that. They tried novel strategies like skipping debates, hiding candidates, and... what's that phrase? "Democracy dies in darkness"? Apparently, elections also flop in it. But hey, no comparisons—every runner deserves a participation trophy. 3. Give Credit Where It's DueWe couldn't have done this alone. Hats off to the Democratic Party for motivating millions of Americans to care deeply about democracy, just maybe not the way they intended. Their commitment to questionable ballot strategies, legal theatrics, and celebrity endorsements helped clarify the stakes. Thanks for keeping the MAGA base laser-focused! 4. Stick To The FactsLet's just lay it out: democracy was on the ballot, and the people overwhelmingly chose Trump. Americans love their freedom, and it turns out, they also love a good underdog story—especially when the underdog is a billionaire who survived 91 indictments and still came out swinging. 5. Express GratitudeWe're so thankful for every single voter, from those brave enough to voice support in blue states to the silent majority who made their voices heard where it counted. And a special thanks to Kamala Harris, who—despite a complete lack of votes in 2020—found a way to lead her party to… somewhere. 6. Don't Add A QualifierNo need for “I hate to brag, but…” moments here. Instead, we'll just say this: we're proud of this win, and even prouder that America's faith in democracy remains intact, especially after seeing how much abuse it endured from our opponents. 7. Avoid The Humble-BragWe promise not to say anything like, “It's so embarrassing that our policies resonated with so many Americans while theirs didn't.” Nope, that would be wrong. Instead, we'll just point out how humbling it is to have earned the trust of voters across the nation. Being “the people's champion” is an honor we don't take lightly.Final ThoughtsIt's important to remain gracious in victory, even when faced with the colossal irony of being lectured about democracy by people who tripped over it. In the end, we didn't just win—we demonstrated that democracy is alive, well, and still a whole lot of fun. Nobody expected this, not even Chairman Michael Saylor. The returns have been astonishing. A couple of readers have reported to me that the gains have been life-changing. Wow! What an email to receive. It's easy to get hubristic when you have a big win. Instead, let us express gratitude for the good fortune that has smiled upon us. But look beyond we must, and so today I want to look at what I can only describe as a stealth bull market - natural gas. The price is creeping up, and few are talking about it.Natural gas is a bit like silver: if it can disappoint, it will. So we begin this piece with that reminder. Natural gas has broken the soul of many a wiser man than me.On the other hand, the next five years look pretty positive. It's obvious that the world is going to go nuclear now, and that Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) are going to provide the power AI so badly needs. However, it will be a good five years before they on stream, so what is going to provide the power in the interim? The answer is natural gas. There is a problem, however: Supply.America's Gas Wells Are Drying UpThe North American Shale Gas Revolution dramatically changed the outlook for fossil fuels. Peak Oil was a huge theme leading up to the Global Financial Crisis, and then it disappeared, almost overnight.Between 2005 and 2020, US natural gas production grew by 90%, with shale accounting for the bulk of it. In 2005, shale gas made up about 5% of US natural gas production; by 2020, it was over 75%. By 2017, the US had become a net exporter, especially of more transportable liquefied natural gas (LNG).The price, meanwhile, plummeted. Good for consumers! Here's the long-term chart so you can see those price declines since 2005. From almost $16 to $3.50 today (as low as $1.50 earlier this year, where it has formed an attractive double bottom - you know how I like those).Obviously, we in the UK and Europe pay way more for our natural gas than they do in North America. It's so dumb; we have enough to supply ourselves in the UK. But we don't because fracking is deemed environmentally damaging. So we import gas from abroad, which is produced by, you guessed it, fracking. I guess if it is fracked somewhere else, it's less harmful. Not Then there are the transport costs and the environmental costs that come with that.Anyway …Spanning Ohio, New York, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, Marcellus is the largest natural gas-producing field in the United States, contributing over 25% of production. In 2010, output was 2 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d). By 2023, it exceeded 35 bcf/d, but production has been falling for almost a year now. We are currently at 26.7 bcf/dThe next largest is Haynesville, in Louisiana, Texas, and parts of Arkansas. Extraction costs here are higher, and production stands at 16 bcf/d, but it is slowing here too, according to analysts Goehring & Rozencwajg. One of the few areas of growth is the Permian Basin, in Texas and New Mexico, currently around 23 bcf/d, but even there, growth is modest. Now, it might be that the reason for stagnating growth is low prices - they often are - and higher prices will result in increased production. They usually do. That is the way with commodities. But natural gas prices have already doubled this year, and they keep on creeping up.The other interpretation is that the North American Shale Gas Revolution has passed its peak. With America's new president, you can expect plenty more investment in production than under the Democrats, and that should bring the price down, but the gas price has actually risen - from $2.70 to $3.50 - since the election. It might also be that Russian gas taps come back online to the EU sometime next year, which means America will lose its new market. But all of this conjecture is factored into the price. And that is rising. How to invest all this
Is "What is a woman?" the Achilles heel question that the left is simply incapable of answering? Polls suggest trans radicalism cost Democrats the 2024 election, but the party's base is determined not to moderate on it, no matter the cost. This week on the Mark Levin Show, Comcast is finally looking to get rid of MSNBC. Mark has warned in the past that they would pay a public price if they don't cut ties with MSNBC. The news divisions are separate on Fox News but not separate on MSNBC and CNN - you can't tell one from the other. The Washington Post is almost dying, if they didn't have Jeff Bezos, it would be dead. It's not because of technology, it's because people are sick of these media companies. DA Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan have done enormous damage to the rule of law in Donald Trump's NY case. Merchan should have dismissed the case, but he didn't. This isn't a great victory because this case still hangs over Trump's head. President Biden and Sen Chuck Schumer are trying to ram through as many lifetime appointments to the circuit and district courts as possible. Democrats want their radical agenda, which was just rejected by America, to continue through the judiciary. The first battle President-Elect Trump faces is to get the cabinet that he wants. The Democrats and their media are trying to destroy Pete Hegseth and his reputation. This is the way Democrats and the media work. They don't want Hegseth to reform the Pentagon as Secretary of Defense. Kash Patel would make a great FBI Director but anytime a Conservative is nominated they are said to be controversial. Mike Rogers for FBI Director is exactly what President-Elect Trump ran against, he's an establishment RINO. Pam Bondi for Attorney General would be great. Learn more about your ad choices. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, Pam Bondi is coming under attack. Every nominee for Attorney General by a Republican president has been attacked or called controversial. The Democrat party believes it owns all the bureaucracy, especially the DOJ. Democrats don't want the DOJ reformed - they liked what it did to President Trump. The Democrat Party says they want to work in a bipartisan way, but Rep Jamie Raskin and Rep Hakeem Jeffries prove that's all for show. Good thing they have no role in her nomination. Also, Gen Mark Milley is the latest to smear Pete Hegseth. Milley should have resigned in shame after his surrender in Afghanistan. Every patriot that Trump nominates is under attack. Trump is picking people who aren't part of the swamp and that upsets the Democrats. We won't fall for the Democrat's vicious tactics. They are plotting, in the shadows, on how to derail Trump's nominees for the purpose of derailing Trump and the outcome of the election. Finally, it used to be when men went into women's bathrooms they would be arrested - now they have civil rights. How sick is the educational bureaucracy? They are destroying women's sports and women should not have to put up with this. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
It's not just Democrats but the establishment GOP is part of the problem too. The swamp isn't going down without a fight. “The great men and women of the FBI” have been tormenting half the country because they don't support democrats. Mark Milly lying about women in the military. What are ball bearings? Why do elected officials not only get to break the law but brag about breaking the law?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

8/8 Reagan: His Life and Legend Hardcover – September 10, 2024 by Max Boot (Author) 1983 Afghanistan https://www.amazon.com/Reagan-Life-Legend-Max-Boot/dp/0871409445 The story begins not in star-studded Hollywood but in the cradle of the Midwest, small-town Illinois, where Reagan was born in 1911 to Nelle Clyde Wilson, a devoted Disciples of Christ believer, and Jack Reagan, a struggling, alcoholic salesman. Boot vividly creates a portrait of a handsome young man, indeed a much-vaunted lifeguard, whose early successes mirrored those of Horatio Alger. And contextualizing Reagan's life against American history, Boot re-creates the world in which Reagan transitioned from local Iowa sportscaster to budding screen actor. The world of Hollywood from the 1930s to the 1950s would prove significant, not only in Reagan's coming-of-age in such classics as Knute Rockne and Kings Row but during the twilight of his film career, when he played opposite a chimpanzee in Bedtime for Bonzo, and then his eventual emergence as a television host of General Electric Theater, which established his bona fides as one of the leading conservative voices of the time. Indeed, the leap to California governor in 1966 seemed almost preordained, in which Reagan became a bellwether for a nation in the throes of a generational shift. Reagan's 1980 presidential election augured a shift that continues into this century. Boot writes not as a partisan but as a historian seeking to set the story straight. He explains how Reagan was an ideologue but also a supreme pragmatist who signed pro-abortion and gun control bills as governor, cut deals with Democrats in both Sacramento and Washington, and befriended Mikhail Gorbachev to end the Cold War. A master communicator, Reagan revived America's spirits after the traumas of Vietnam and Watergate. But Boot also shows how Reagan was armored in obliviousness. He traces Reagan's opposition to civil rights over forty years, reveals how he neglected the exploding AIDS epidemic, and details how America experienced a level of income inequality not seen since the Gilded Age. With its revelatory insights, Reagan: His Life and Legend is no apologia, depicting a man with a good-versus-evil worldview derived from his moralistic upbringing and Hollywood westerns. Providing fresh examinations of “trickle-down economics,” the Cold War's end, the Iran-Contra affair, as well as a nuanced portrait of Reagan's family, this definitive biography is as compelling a presidential biography as any in recent decades.

7/8 Reagan: His Life and Legend Hardcover – September 10, 2024 by Max Boot (Author) March 1981, the shooting https://www.amazon.com/Reagan-Life-Legend-Max-Boot/dp/0871409445 The story begins not in star-studded Hollywood but in the cradle of the Midwest, small-town Illinois, where Reagan was born in 1911 to Nelle Clyde Wilson, a devoted Disciples of Christ believer, and Jack Reagan, a struggling, alcoholic salesman.
The ultra-woke leftists are freaking out over Trump's new Attorney-General pick. But the irony is that all of their weeping and gnashing of teeth is happening as Trump is completely shattering the Democrat Party, including that very network, MSNBC. We're going to look at why the left is absolutely collapsing in front of the world's eyes and why the Democrats are already losing the elections of tomorrow, today. Ralph welcomes Vani Hari, also known as “The Food Babe,” to tell us about her campaign against Kellogg's to stop using artificial dyes in their cereals that have been linked to various health problems and have been banned in Europe. Plus, noted labor organizer, Chris Townsend gives us his take on the AFL-CIOs obeisant relationship to the Democratic Party.Vani Hari is an author and food activist. A former corporate consultant, she started the Food Babe blog in 2011, and she is the co-founder of the nutritional supplement startup Truvani. It is a game of whack-a-mole because we get these corporations to change, or they announce that they're going to change, and then they go back on their commitment. And that is what's happened with Kellogg's.Vani HariChris Townsend is a 45-year union member and leader. He was most recently the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) International Union Organizing Director. Previously he was an International Representative and Political Action Director for the United Electrical Workers Union (UE), and he has held local positions in both the SEIU and UFCW.These workers who have been betrayed, lied to, wrecked, destroyed, poisoned, all of these things—this becomes the breeding ground for Trumpist ideology. And the Democrats won't face this.Chris TownsendOur media largely ignores the labor movement. Our small labor press—left press—generally subscribes to the “good news only” school of journalism. So these endemic problems and even immediate crises are never dealt with. Now, some of that is because the existing labor leadership generally is not fond of criticism or is not fond of anyone pointing out shortcomings (or) mistakes.Chris TownsendWe're a cash cow—and a vote cow— to be milked routinely and extensively by this Democratic machinery… The leadership today in the bulk of the unions is an administrative layer, business union through and through to the core. The historic trade union spirit that always animated the unions in various levels is not extinguished, but in my 45 years, I would say it is at a low ebb. In the sense that we just have been sterilized because of this unconditional and unholy alliance or domination by the Democratic Party. And there's no room for spark. There's no room for dissent. There's no room for anyone to even raise the obvious.Chris Townsend[Leaders of the AFL-CIO are] basically bureaucrats in that building on 16th Street, collecting their pay and their nice pensions. Completely out of touch with millions of blue collar workers that have veered into the Republican Party channels—the so-called Reagan Democrats, which have spelled the difference in election after election for the Senate, for the House, for the Presidency.Ralph NaderIn Case You Haven't Heard with Francesco DeSantisNews 11/20/241. In his new book Hope Never Disappoints, Pope Francis writes “what is happening in Gaza has the characteristics of genocide,” and called for the situation to be “studied carefully…by jurists and international organisations,” per the Middle East Eye. These comments come on the heels of a United Nations committee report which found that Israel's actions are “consistent with characteristics of genocide,” and alleged that Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war. The Catholic pontiff has long decried violence in all forms and has previously criticized Israel's “disproportionate and immoral” actions in Gaza and Lebanon, per AP.2. On November 14th, the AP's Farnoush Amiri reported that more than 80 Congressional Democrats sent a letter to President Biden on October 29th, urging the administration to sanction Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. Only made public after the election, this letter called for sanctions on these individuals “Given their critical roles in driving policies that promote settler violence, weaken the Palestinian Authority, facilitate de facto and de jure annexation, and destabilize the West Bank.” This letter was principally authored by Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, and in addition to dozens of House Democratic signatories, was signed by no less than 17 Senators.3. Another remarkable post-election Israel story concerns outgoing Congressman Jamaal Bowman, who was ousted from his seat by a flood of AIPAC money. In an interview with Rania Khalek, Bowman relates a remarkable anecdote about the presidential campaign. Bowman says he specifically requested to campaign for Kamala Harris in Michigan – where he was so popular his AIPAC-backed primary challenger disparagingly said “[Bowman's] constituency is Dearborn, Michigan” – but the campaign ignored him and instead deployed surrogates that seemed almost designed to alienate Arab-Americans: Liz Cheney, Ritchie Torres, and Bill Clinton who went out of his way to scold these voters. These voters were likely decisive in Kamala Harris' loss in that state.4. On November 13th, Senator Bernie Sanders announced that he intends to bring Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to the Senate floor. As Sanders writes in a press release, the “The JRD is the only mechanism available to Congress to prevent an arms sale from advancing.” Unlike previous efforts however, Sanders no longer stands alone. According to Reuters, “Two of the resolutions, co-sponsored with…Senators Jeff Merkley and Peter Welch, would block the sale of 120 mm mortar rounds and joint direct attack munitions (JDAMS). A third, sponsored by Democratic Senator Brian Schatz, would block the sale of tank rounds.” Senators Elizabeth Warren and Chris Van Hollen have announced their intention to support the JRD. Certain heavy-hitting Democratic-aligned institutions have also bucked precedent to back this effort, including the massive Service Employees International Union and leading Liberal-Zionist group J Street.5. In the House, Republicans and many Democrats are pushing H.R. 9495, a bill which would grant the executive branch the power to unilaterally strip non-profit organizations of their tax-exempt status based on accusations of supporting terrorism. As the Intercept notes, “The law would not require officials to explain the reason for designating a group, nor…provide evidence.” The ACLU and over 150 other “civil liberties, religious, reproductive health, immigrant rights, human rights, racial justice, LGBTQ+, environmental, and educational organizations,” sent a letter opposing this bill in September, and celebrated when the bill was blocked on November 12th – but it is back from the grave, with Nonprofit Quarterly reporting the bill has cleared a new procedural hurdle and will now advance to the floor. Yet even if this bill is successfully blocked, little stands in the way of Republicans reviving it in the next Congress, where they will hold the House, Senate, and the Presidency.6. Back in October, we covered Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib's letter to Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen expressing grave concern over the company's decision to roll out facial recognition-based price gouging technology. According to Tlaib, Kroger has stonewalled Congress, so she is leading a group of House Democrats in a new letter demanding answers to the critical questions that remain, such as whether Kroger will use facial recognition to display targeted ads, whether consumers can opt out, and whether the company plans to sell data collected in stores. This letter is co-signed by progressives like AOC, Barbara Lee, and Eleanor Holmes Norton, among others.7. In new labor news, the NLRB has issued a rule banning anti-union “captive audience meetings,” per the Washington Post. This report notes that these meetings, in which employers warn workers of the risks in unionizing, are considered highly effective and are commonly used by companies like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple and Trader Joe's. According to the Post, Amazon alone spent more than $17 million on consults to do exactly this between 2022 and 2023. On the other hand, Bloomberg Law reports a federal judge in Texas has blocked a Labor Department rule that would have expanded overtime eligibility to four million mostly lower-level white collar workers. This was seen as among the Biden Administration's key achievements on labor rights and foreshadows the rollback of worker protections we are likely to see in a Trump presidency redux.8. Donald Trump has signaled that he will nominate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as his Secretary of Health and Human Services. Kennedy will likely face a difficult confirmation process; his past environmental activism is anathema to Republican Senators, while his more recent vaccine-skepticism is unpopular among Democrats. Yet just as Donald Trump emerged as an improbable RFK ally, a surprising opponent has emerged as well: former Vice-President Mike Pence. In a “rare” statement Pence writes “For the majority of his career, RFK Jr. has defended abortion on demand during all nine months of pregnancy, supports overturning the Dobbs decision and has called for legislation to codify Roe v Wade. If confirmed, RFK, Jr. would be the most pro-abortion Republican appointed secretary of HHS in modern history…I…urge Senate Republicans to reject this nomination.” As with other unpopular Trump nominees, many expect RFK to be appointed on an acting basis and then possibly installed via the recess appointment process.9. In some positive news, Drop Site reports that in Sri Lanka, the Leftist president Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who wrested the office from the corrupt clique that has ruled the nation since independence has won a resounding victory in the recent parliamentary elections. Reuters reports that Dissanayake's coalition won a “sweeping mandate,” with enough seats to pass his anti-corruption and poverty-alleviation agenda. More shocking is the fact that Dissanayake's coalition ran up the score in the Tamil-dominated north and east of the country. As Drop Site notes, only 15 years ago the Sri Lankan government crushed the Tamil Tigers and carried out large-scale massacres of the Tamil minority. Dissanayake has vowed to end the occupation and release Tamil political prisoners, as well as take on the International Monetary Fund which is seeking to impose economic control on the country in exchange for a fiscal bailout. Neither goal will be easily achieved, but the size of Dissanayake's victory at least provides the opportunity for him to try.10. Finally, AP reports that three of Malcolm X's daughters have filed a $100 million lawsuit against the CIA, FBI, and NYPD. This lawsuit alleges that these agencies were “aware of and…involved in the assassination plot,” and that law enforcement was engaged in a “corrupt, unlawful, and unconstitutional [relationship with]…ruthless killers that…was actively concealed, condoned, protected, and facilitated by government agents.” Two of Malcolm X's alleged assassins were exonerated in 2021 after an extensive re-investigation found that authorities withheld crucial evidence, per AP, and new evidence reported earlier this year by Democracy Now! supports the theory of an assassination plot involving collusion between the FBI and NYPD, if not others. This has been Francesco DeSantis, with In Case You Haven't Heard. How does branded political merchandise shape the way Americans connect with their chosen candidates? In this episode, we're joined by Rob Mobsby from EverythingBranded, a global hub for high-quality, tangible marketing solutions, to explore the insights from their 2024 Political Merchandise Report. From the enduring appeal of campaign swag to its surprising impact on voter behavior, this conversation dives into the world of branded merch as a powerful communication tool in both politics and marketing. Rob unpacks fascinating data from the report, including the finding that 36% of Americans have purchased or plan to buy political merch to support their candidate, with a striking 77% proudly wearing it to influence others. We discuss how these items, ranging from t-shirts and hats to bumper stickers and pins, transcend election cycles, with many people holding onto them for years, regardless of the outcome. The report also highlights how Democrats and Republicans embrace merchandise differently, with wearables proving to be the top choice across party lines. Beyond politics, Rob sheds light on the broader influence of branded merchandise in advertising. With 63% of consumers more likely to engage with a business they see on a friend's branded item compared to digital ads or social media posts, it's clear that physical marketing tools remain a cornerstone of effective campaigns. He also delves into the human connection fostered by these tangible items, especially in a post-COVID era where people crave belonging and shared identity. We also explore EverythingBranded's commitment to political neutrality, its approach to product customization, and how the company uses AI and data-driven strategies to enhance customer experiences. Whether it's for businesses or political campaigns, branded merchandise continues to demonstrate its unmatched ability to create long-lasting impressions. [SEGMENT 1-1] Democracy WAS on the ballot 1 I read an article where the author claimed that Democrats screed about "democracy is on the ballot" fell short. I disagreed. Democracy was indeed on the ballot in 2024, just not in the way Democrats intended. Democrats plastered the phrase across ads, speeches, and campaign rallies. But their actions told a very different story. As Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) insisted they were the stewards of democratic ideals, they sabotaged their own processes. They silenced dissenters, and manipulated election mechanisms in ways that left even their own base skeptical. Ironically, this made their loss to Donald Trump not only inevitable, but richly poetic. Democracy by Any Means Necessary? The Democrats' rallying cry of “saving democracy” was undermined from the start. Shielding Joe Biden from primary challengers was their first move, a tactic that looked more like damage control than democratic engagement. Prominent figures like Representative Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) and Marianne Williamson openly criticized this strategy. They sounded the alarm, warning that Biden's isolation from scrutiny would backfire. The DNC then doubled down by canceling the Florida primary outright and attempting similar maneuvers in Wisconsin, only to be blocked by the courts. When Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dared to challenge the Democratic establishment, they deployed an entire “war room” to discredit him. Ultimately, they not only pushed him out of the race as a Democrat, but they push him out of the party altogether. Meanwhile, Harris—who dropped out of the 2020 race without earning a single vote—was anointed as the party's new figurehead once Biden became too much of a liability. Their so-called defense of democracy had all the hallmarks of a monarchy, minus the pageantry. Democracy for Us, Not for You It wasn't just presidential politics where the Democrats' hypocrisy shone. In multiple states, they fought tooth and nail against ballot measures aimed at expanding voter participation. Reforms in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, D.C., Nevada, and South Dakota sought to give independent voters a voice in primary elections. But the Democrats actively campaigned against these reforms. The message was clear: democracy is fine as long as it serves our interests. [SEGMENT 1-2] Democracy WAS on the ballot 2 [X] SB – Katt Williams on CNN being wrong This isn't a new phenomenon. For years, the DNC has resisted primary election reform, even in states where it could strengthen democratic processes. In places like California and Washington, where voters implemented open primaries, the party has lobbied to return to exclusionary systems. The irony? The party that brands itself as the champion of democracy consistently works to suppress it when it threatens their grip on power. The 14th Amendment Fiasco As the general election approached, Democrats took their anti-democratic antics to new heights. In states like Colorado and Michigan, they pursued legal battles to bar Trump from the ballot, citing the 14th Amendment's clause against aiding an “insurrection.” It was a novel—and transparently desperate—interpretation of constitutional law. Voters saw it for what it was: a last-ditch attempt to win by disqualification rather than persuasion. This legal gambit didn't just fail; it galvanized the Trump base and alienated moderate voters. Americans may have disagreements about Trump, but they overwhelmingly rejected the notion that the electoral process should be circumvented to deny voters their choice. When Hypocrisy Meets Reality Democracy wasn't just on the ballot—it was the ballot. And voters delivered a resounding verdict: they want leadership that respects the process, not a party that manipulates it. While Democrats lamented their loss, leaders like Nancy Pelosi now bemoan the very lack of openness they orchestrated. It's a convenient pivot, but one that smacks of opportunism, rather than genuine reflection. The broader issue here isn't just that the Democratic Party lost—it's that they lost credibility. For years, they've positioned themselves as defenders of democracy while engaging in the very behaviors they accuse Republicans of: voter suppression, exclusionary tactics, and backroom deals. This hypocrisy has finally caught up with them, and voters are no longer buying what they're selling. A Lesson in True Democracy Americans care deeply about democracy, despite what pundits might suggest. But they won't be lectured by a party that cancels primaries, silences challengers, and manipulates election systems. In 2024, voters made it clear that they're tired of being told what democracy looks like by Leftist demons who have no intent of practicing it. As Democrats process their historic loss, they have a choice to make. They can continue down the path of hypocrisy, or they can take a hard look at their own undemocratic tendencies and work to rebuild trust. Either way, democracy has spoken—and it's Trump who emerged as its unlikely standard-bearer. TOPIC: Somehow the anti-New-World-Order movement has been conditioned to accept, vote for, and defend people behind experimental gene therapy, microchips, digital currency, and collusion with foreign governments. The incoming presidential administration designated as the ‘golden age of America' has allocated cabinet selection to billionaire zionist Howard Lutnick and jewish zealot Jared Kushner, responsible for installing 15 and counting zionist, Israel-first, members of every major department of government from the CIA and EPA to the DOD and DNI. At least three picks are also members of the World Economic Forum openly, not to mention the selection of Brian Hook for negotiating peace with the zionist ‘Big-Israel' Ukraine, who is a Warhawk demanding war with Iran like the other cabinet picks. The incoming Senate Majority of Republicans, who are replacing the Democrats that want to criminalize the Bible alongside zealot Republicans, are calling on The Hague Invasion Act which would allow for “all necessary means” to be enacted to protect Israel agains international legal prosecution - including invading on the ground any country that backs such investigators and warrants. America is occupied by foreign, hostile, demonic, parasites, and they have gotten everyone to support the New World Order, Zionist, Sabbatean, Frankish, death cult. These are the Hexagram Handlers.
