Slam the Gavel welcomes back Ernest Rodriguez to the podcast. Ernest was last on November 12, 2022, Season 3, Episode 151, where we discussed his case as Judge Denise Brown had gone wild in her courtroom and refuses to look at evidence.     Ernest and his family are victims of the Louisville, Kentucky Family Court system. He explained that he was forced to pay attorney fees of $15,000,00 by December 31st, 2022 and if he didn't pay this amount she would send him to Debtor's Prison for 5 days and miss his next hearing. As he was extorted out of $15,000.00 of attorney fees suddenly  went on "vacation," so the next hearing was scheduled for March 16th, 2023.      Apparently, Judge Denise Brown MANIPULATES and lies while on the BENCH, thoroughly enjoying her job of EXTORTING monies and DESTROYING children's lives and families so she can choose the DESIRABLE outcome of a case to fit her NARRATIVE. Ernest provided evidence of his daughter's living conditions, but Judge Denise Brown "didn't want to talk about that." Seven hours later, frivolous topics, superficial at best were discussed and Ernest the Respondent, couldn't bring up evidence but strangely enough, the Petitioner could.    We discussed how to file affidavits along with JCC complaints upon the judge. Ernest explained that while he was in court Judge Denise Brown thought he was glaring at her and she told him to quit looking at her and look the other way...towards a wall. Judge's behaviors must be documented in affidavits along with the complaint. If that is not remedied, rewrite the affidavit with more detail and attach evidence that wasn't allowed on the record and resubmit another JCC complaint.      Only through uniting, WE THE PEOPLE can bring JUSTICE forward. To Reach Ernest Rodriguez:  ernest.enterprises@gmail.comSupportshow(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/maryannpetri)https://www.buzzsprout.com/1364944/subscribedismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.comSupport the showSupportshow(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/maryannpetri)http://www.dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.com/

A chaplain is not exactly a morale officer but it's kinda close.  I'm deeply concerned about the hearts and minds of my officers and how beaten down they may feel.  After the last several years of relentless negativity about law enforcement, I find myself yearning for a voice that is not just positive but one that can be resolute and strong in the face of adversity. So when I heard Dexter Pitts talk about personal responsibility and not letting negative voices redefine who and what you are, that was just what the doctor ordered. Dexter is a cop from Louisville, Kentucky.  He's a combat veteran and he has a wide variety of law enforcement experience.  But what sets Dexter apart is that when he saw riots burning down his city, he left a job in a peaceful small town to go back and put on riot gear to stand with his fellow brothers and sisters in blue.  Dexter has faced all kinds of adversity in his life which we talk about, including family tragedy, racism, and the ongoing argument for what it means to be a cop in America.  Dexter's not to speak his mind and people hate him for it, but I bet you're going to love this guy.Resources:I Am Pitts, by Dexter Pitts  - Dexter recommends listening to the audio version on AudibleFind him on Instagram @iampitts1Dexter's website is iampitts.comMusic is by Chris Haugen and by Winking FoxHey Chaplain Podcast Episode 052Subscribe/Follow here: Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hey-chaplain/id1570155168 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2CGK9A3BmbFEUEnx3fYZOY Email us at: heychaplain44@gmail.comThanks for Listening! No. 6 seed Creighton defeated third-seeded Baylor 85-76 on Sunday night in the second round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament to advance to the Sweet 16 for the second time in three seasons. Ryan Nembhard led Creighton with a career-high 30 points, shooting 45.8% from 3-point range and going 10 for 10 from the free-throw line. Baylor struggled to contain Creighton's outside shooting, focusing heavily on big man Ryan Kalkbrenner. Baylor's LJ Cryer finished with 30 points, but freshman Keyonte George was held to seven points. Creighton will face 15th-seeded Princeton in Louisville, Kentucky, on Friday. Creighton extended their lead and pumped up the crowd with back-to-back 3-pointers from Francisco Farabello and Nembhard. Baylor had a chance to cut into Creighton's lead but turnovers prevented them from making a comeback. Creighton improved their all-time record in the tournament to 18-24, while Baylor's record under coach Scott Drew is now 19-10. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! After strong runs in the conference tournaments, with the men bringing home the title, both of the Texas Longhorns basketball teams find themselves preparing for tournament runs that set up for fireworks. For the men, sitting as a No. 2 seed after winning the Big 12 tournament, getting out of the first two rounds for the first time since 2008 means a potential matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies, who drew the No. 7 seed in the same regional. If they can survive a tough matchup against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Round of 64, then the stakes don't get any higher than a Lone Star Showdown for the rights to go to the second weekend of the tournament. The ladies came up one game short of the conference title but landed the No. 4 seed and the rights to host the first two rounds of the regional at the Moody Center in Austin. However, their path to the Final Four shapes up to be a slugfest, having to face a tough Louisville squad even to make it out of the first weekend. Connect with the show on Twitter and Facebook.
