It started as a simple daily voice note of faith and encouragement to a few people in Lagos, Nigeria when the COVID 19 pandemic hit the state. Now evolved into a NEW DAILY EXPERIENCE to multitudes around the world...
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleFriday 30th MayThe works of Faith Part 5The works of faith can be seen in the everyday activities of your life — the everyday decisions and responses. God expects us, as believers, to do everything — our living, sleeping, waking, working — by the power of faith.Faith is not meant to be a spare tyte we pull out in times of crisis, or something we only use for big projects. Faith is supposed to be a constant part of our daily lives. That's the beauty of living by faith: is your conviction of the reality of God in everything we do and say, based on His Word. Your daily response to God's word — that's faith. The more you live tby faith , the more your consciousness of God's presence grows. So when you require faith for “big things” it's not a struggle, because you've been walking by faith everyday. But when we neglect to walk by faith in the everyday things, we struggle when the big things come. One thing Jesus and Apostle Paul both emphasized over and over is this: the believer's life must be lived entirely by faith.Galatians 2:20 (TPT), “My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives. For the nails of His cross crucified me with Him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives His life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that He gave Himself for me and dispenses His life into mine.”Paul is saying, “I died with Christ. The life I live now is Christ's life flowing through me.” Our role is to yield and tallow His faith to work through us. That's what the walk of faith is all about. But here's the challenge: many of us don't want to let Christ live through us. We don't want to let Him love through us. Remember the old phrase: WWJD — What Would Jesus Do?Every day we're faced with choices. We know what Jesus wants us to do, but our flesh wants to do something else. That's where the struggle lies.Live out your faith everyday, torgive, love, soeak kindly, give, resist fear, overcome anxiety. Let go of worry, etc. These are things you do everyday. That's what the works of faith is all about, yielding to Jesus every single day.I pray that God gives you the strength, grace, and boldness to live out your faith daily.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Thursday 29th MayThe Works of Faith 4We can't over emphasis the fact that faith isn't just about the spectacular miracles or powerful moments, this is the misconception that makes the life of faith a frustrating experience for many believers. Faith is really about the everyday actions we take as believers in response to God's Word. When we talk about the "works of faith," it also means the works of faith we live out in our daily life. It's not just about extraordinary feats, but the simple, consistent acts of living that are rooted in our trust in God. Waking up, going to sleep, eating, walking, speaking, loving your neighbours—all these should be done in faith. The Bible says, "The just shall live by faith"—a message echoed in Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews. This means that for every moment we are alive, especially as believers, we are called to live by faith. Faith isn't an event; it's a lifestyle. Every aspect of our existence should be shaped and sustained by our faith in God.Acts 17:28 TPT, " It is through him that we live and function and have our identity..."Paul had a good understanding of the fact that our faith in God is to drive everything that idenfies us as believers. In Galatians 2:20 he said, "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."This reveals that our life, in all its parts, is meant to be lived by faith in Christ. One of the many reasons why we must live by faith aside from the fact that we can't please God without it is because "...the whole world lies under the influence of evil."(1 John 5:19). But when we live with a consciousness of faith, we bring God into every situation. Faith puts God in the centre of our actions and decisions, giving us the strength to overcome challenges.I pray in the name of Jesus that you walk in this understanding, living a life full of faith and grace.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Wednesday 28th May The Works of Faith 3As followers of Jesus, we must understand that faith is not only for spectacular miracles —though those are part of what faith can accomplish. It's about living life in line with God's Word in everything, small and great everyday. The Bible says, “The just shall live by faith.” That means faith isn't something we turn to only in crisis or for big breakthroughs; it's something we're called to practice daily, in every area of life.Faith should guide everything we do—our thoughts, actions, decisions, and even how we eat or rest. Romans 14:23B (TPT), “For anything we do that doesn't spring from faith is, by definition, sinful."That's a powerful statement. It means anything we do that doesn't stem from our conviction in God is sinful. Faith must be at the core of our lives—not as an occasional spiritual exercise, but as a daily lifestyle. The faith that moves mountains begins with the faith that moves you in the small things. If your faith doesn't move you to forgive, to love, to serve, or to believe in the ordinary moments, it won't move mountains either. We must build a faith consciousness—a mindset and heart posture that depends on God in everything. As we live with that awareness, our faith grows stronger and more active.God calls us to walk by faith every single day, not just during the highs or lows. True faith shows up in how we treat others, how we handle challenges, how we think, speak, and live. The works of your life should be works of faith.I pray in the name of Jesus that God gives you the strength and grace to build this faith-conscious into your lifestyle. May everything you do reflect a life rooted in faith, and may your faith grow until it becomes the kind that truly moves mountains.God bless you, enjoy your day!!
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleTuesday, 27th MayThe Works of Faith 2Faith isn't only for miracles or crises time—it's for everyday living. While faith can move mountains, heal the sick, and bring divine provision, its true strength is built through our daily life: in our choices, thoughts, relationships, and habits.Scripture emphasizes this repeatedly with the phrase, “The just shall live by faith,” found in Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, and Hebrews 10:38.This isn't a suggestion but a divine mandate. If you've been redeemed by Christ, faith should be your constant way of life—not something to pull out only in emergencies.Faith is for walking, loving, forgiving, and living. It's not occasional use; it's for daily living. As you apply faith daily, it becomes stronger. That way, when major challenges arise, your faith is already active and built up.Today, as we celebrate Children's Day, remember that even children can live by faith. Paul commended Timothy's sincere faith, which was passed down from his grandmother Lois and mother Eunice. This generational faith is vital. We must model and teach faith to our children from an early age—how to trust God and live according to His Word.Faith isn't a one-time act or a special event—it's a daily lifestyle. Raising children in an environment where faith is lived and taught ensures a generation that will walk in victory.May God's grace and strength empower you to live by faith every day—in both small and significant matters in Jesus' Name, AmenGod bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleMonday 26th MayThe Works of Faith – Part 1All this month, we've been discussing faith—its foundation, how it comes, what feeds and drains it. As conclude, we want to discuss the works of faith—how faith is expressed in action. When we think of faith at work, our minds often jump to the spectacular: healing the sick, raising the dead or major breakthroughs. These are indeed powerful displays, and Hebrews 11 talks about some of those things. However, faith is not only meant for spectacular events. God gave us faith for daily living. It's not just for miracles—it's for how we work, live, speak, decide, and relate every single day.Habakkuk 2:2–4 (NKJV), 2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision. And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. 4 “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.“The just shall live by his faith.” This powerful truth appears four times in the Bible—in Habakkuk, Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews—emphasizing its importance. Faith isn't a one-time act; it's a lifestyle. To live by faith means to trust and obey God in every area of life. It's about living in line with His Word in every situation. The proud live on their own terms and fall away. Scripture also tells us that “whatever is not of faith is sin.” This means our actions, big or small, must be rooted in faith. Real works of faith aren't just public miracles—they are found in private simple obedience of everyday life. This is where the true work of faith really starts.God bless you, enjoy your day!
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Sunday 25th May Faith Feeders and Faith Drainers 7We're continuing our discussion on what builds and what drains our faith. So far, we've explored key faith-builders: love, the power of testimonies and the right association—each of these strengthens our spiritual journey. Now, we turn to a subtle but serious faith-drainer: unforgiveness and offense. In Matthew 5:23–24 (TPT), Jesus says if you remember a conflict while offering a gift to God, first make peace, then return to worship. This highlights how unresolved issues can hinder our connection with God. Offense and unforgiveness are heart issues. Though hidden, they quietly sabotage our faith. Outward actions may appear spiritual, but inward bitterness creates a slow leak, draining faith and hindering results.Jesus' command to prioritize reconciliation shows how seriously God views unforgiveness. Offense blocks the flow of His presence, power, and answers to prayer.Consider John the Baptist. He once boldly declared Jesus as the Lamb of God, witnessed the Spirit descend on Him, and had no doubts. But later, in prison and facing disappointment, he questioned Jesus' identity (Matthew 11). Jesus affirmed who He was but added, “Blessed is the one who is not offended because of Me.” This gentle correction revealed how offense had begun to cloud John's sense of judgement.Offense distorts vision, opens the door to doubt, and shuts down prayer effectiveness. That's why it must be addressed urgently.Forgiveness is not about excusing wrongs—it's about freedom. When you forgive, you choose not to let past wounds control your faith, emotions, or future. Holding onto offense may feel justified, but it harms you more than anyone else.To grow in faith, you must release offense and choose forgiveness. Let your heart stay light and open to God and people.I pray today that God grants you the grace to forgive and the strength to live free from offense in Jesus' Name.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Friday 23rd May Faith Feeders and Faith Drainers 5We've been reflecting on what strengthens or drains our faith. The Bible says, 'Faith comes ...' that means it can develop. If faith come, it can also go , it can get drained. Another drainer of faith is fear.Fear weakens people,, paralyzes decision making, and can make people behave irrational. That's why the Bible says repeatedly, “Fear not.” This isn't just encouragement—it's a command. Fear and faith cannot coexist. When fear takes over, it overrides faith, corrupts perception, and influences action. Job said, “The thing I feared the most has come upon me.” Fear can manifest what we dread if we allow it to take root.In Matthew 8:26, Jesus rebukes the disciples, saying, “Why are you gripped with fear? Where is your faith?” Then He calmed the storm. The disciples were overwhelmed by fear, even though Jesus was right there with them. Fear clouded their belief. Fear can distort reality and make us forget what we know. We must resist fear with all that we have.We must be intentional about feeding our faith and starving our fear. When we stay in fearful or negative spaces, it drains our faith. Like the soldiers in Israel's army who retreated each time Goliath stepped forward, their fear came from repeated exposure to intimidation. Over time, that fear crippled them in spite of their military training. To stay strong, we need to recognize faith-drainers—fear, doubt, wrong associations—and replace them with faith-feeders - love, testimonies, and the Word. Resist fear actively. Stand firm, speak truth, and remember the victories God has brought you through.Don't let fear take the lead in your thoughts or decisions. Feed your faith, starve your fears, and keep moving forward.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Thursday 22nd MayFaith Feeders and Faith Drainers 4In our walk of faith, it's important to know what feeds or drains it. When David faced Goliath, he ignored the negativity from his brothers who mocked and scolded him. Rather than letting their words weaken him, he distanced himself and continued speaking to those who encouraged him. Their support eventually brought him before the king. This shows the importance of surrounding ourselves with the right people Being in the right company, in the right atmosphere positively impacts your spiritual growth. It's not just about people; it's also about what you read, listen to, or expose yourself to—books, messages, social media, even environments. These influences can either build your character or erode your values. David's brothers had the wrong mindset, and staying close to them could have weakened his faith.Instead, he chose to connect with those who inspired courage and belief.1 Corinthians 15:33 GNB, Do not be fooled. “Bad companions ruin good character.”Acts 4:23 tells us that after the apostles were threatened by the Sanhedrin, they returned to their own company. That fellowship prayed and supported one another, leading to a renewed sense of boldness, power and faith. This highlights the strength that comes from being in the right company.Proverbs 13:20 says, “He who walks with the wise becomes wise, but a companion of fools will be destroyed.” Who you associate with—whether at home, in business, or socially—can influence your destiny.Surrounding yourself with the wrong people will weaken your faith, but being among the right people can build you up and align you with your purpose.Be intentional about your environment. Disconnect from influences that drain your faith and pursue those that encourage growth. Whether it's friends, content, or physical spaces, ensure they are feeding your faith, not draining it.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleWednesday, 21st MayFaith Feeders and Faith Drainers 3Faith grows when it is fed and weakens when drained. To walk in the victory Jesus already secured, you must nourish and feed your faith. Though Jesus has done all He's meant to do for us, the manifestations of these thing will not be evident in our lives without faith in His Word.Every believer starts with the same measure of faith, but it needs regular feeding through the Word and personal fellowship with. In the story of David and Goliath, Goliath daily challenge to the army of Israel intimidated them and drained their faith. David heard the same challenge and threat but responded differently because he had learned to feed his faith.Rev 12:11a GWT, They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. The word of our testimony includes the Word of God's and our personal stories of God's faithfulness.Revelation 19:10 says, “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” This means when we speak God's Word, we are prophesying our victory based on what He has done.David used the power of testimonies to feed his faith when he confronted Goliath. He boldly recalled, “I killed the lion and the bear, and God Who delivered me from the lion and the bear will deliver me from this Philistine too.” He used his past victories to fuel his faith in the face of a present challenge.Likewise, in your own life, recall and declare both the testimony of Scripture and your personal experiences with God. Speak them aloud, meditate on them, and let them strengthen your heart.Feed your faith—and you will walk in victory.God bless you, enjoy your day!
*Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle* *Tuesday 20th May* *Faith Feeders and Faith Drainers 2* There are things that strengthen our faith, and there are things that weaken it. When we consistently surround ourselves with the right influences our faith grows stronger. But when we stay around negativity, it drains our faith.Think about the story of David and Goliath. Each day, Goliath came out to threaten and intimidate he Army of Israel. His words created an atmosphere of fear that drained the Israelites' confidence in God. But David was different. He refused to let Goliath's threats affect him. Instead of feeding on fear, he stood on faith. He feed his faith through the power of testimonies and with that faith, he defeated Goliath.Faith-draining influences are real. The danger lies in not recognizing them. Often, our thoughts and responses are shaped by the understanding we already have. If that understanding is faulty, then our response will be faulty and that will negatively impact on our faith.Galatians 5:6 (TPT), “When you're joined to the Anointed One, circumcision and religious obligations can benefit you nothing. All that matters now is living in the faith that works and expresses itself through love.”Paul emphasizes that in Christ, external rituals no longer matter. What counts is faith working through love. This means love is a major feeder of faith. Walking in love—towards God and others—nurtures and strengthens your faith. You can't grow in faith if you harbour offense, hatred, or unforgiveness. Faith doesn't thrive in bitterness. Jesus was often moved by compassion, and that love empowered His faith to work miracles for others. So, if you want your faith to grow, nurture your love walk. Stay away from negativity and surround yourself with things that build you up spiritually. Let love rule your heart.I pray that as you grow in love, your faith will become stronger, deeper, and more effective in Jesus' name.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Monday 19th MayFaith Feeders and Faith Drainers 1Our discussion this month is on the subject of faith. We have discussed The Faith Framework, How Faith Comes and this week, the focus of our study is - Faith Feeders and Faith Drainers. We have seen how important faith is to our spiritual walk, so the state of our faith is very important. We should always ask the question, Is my faith growing or static? If we are going to experience the victory that is ours in Christ, then we must be intentional about feeding our faith. But when we allow our faith to be static, it's actually being drained and diminishing and that leads to defeated. What are the things that help builds our faith? Is it time in the Word, prayer, fellowship, or worship? Once we recognise what these things are, we need to commit ourselves to them. There are also things that drain our faith, once we identify, we must stay away from them. Things like fear, ingratitude, complaint, unforgiveness and other negative influences are drainers of faith and must be avoided.Isaiah 36:11–12 (GNB), “Then Eliakim, Shebna, and Joah told the official, ‘Speak to us in Aramaic, we understand it. Don't speak Hebrew; the people on the wall are listening.' He replied, ‘Do you think you and your king are the only ones the emperor sent me to speak to? No, it's also to the people who will have to eat their own excrement and drink their own urine—just as you will.'”King Sennacherib of Assyria had come to attack Israel, before invasion, he sends a message to intimidate Israel and discourage them before battle. The plan of the enemy was to create an atmosphere that would drain their faith.Atmosphere matters. What we expose ourselves to has a way of entering hearts and it would either feeds or drains our faith. We must intentional about feeding our faith so we can walk in the victory Jesus has already won for us.God bless you, enjoy your day!
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleSunday 18th May How Faith Comes 7How does faith come? How do we move through different levels of faith in our walk with God? Mark. 4:40 (MKJV) And He said to them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?Matt. 14:31 GWT, Immediately, Jesus reached out, caught hold of him, and said, "You have so little faith! Why did you doubt?" Matt. 15:28 MKJV Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith! So be it to you even as you wish. And her daughter was healed from that very hour.Peter had stepped out of the boat and was walking on water toward Jesus. At that moment, he was operating in faith. But as soon as he looked at the wind and waves, his physical circumstances he began to sink. Jesus saved him and pointed out his little faith. The lesson here is - when we take our eyes off God's word and focus on circumstances, doubt creeps in, and faith weakens. When we give attention to physical evidence over God's Word, it weakens faith. The Syrophoenician woman in Matthew 15, on the other hand was commended for having great faith. Why? When Jesus told her He wasn't sent to her and gave all the reasons He couldn't heal her daughter, she did not back down. The circumstances didn't discouragement her faith and she got what she wanted from Jesus.• No faith: Disregards God's Word.• Little faith: Believing but considers physical evidence, so there's doubt.• Great faith: Disregards every physical or contrary evidence as it hold on to God's Word.Abraham demonstrated great faith by not considering his or Sarah's old age but believing God's promise fully. Great faith is staying locked into God's Word alone. My prayer for you is that, as you go through this series, your faith will grow continually as you trust God's Word above all else in Jesus' Name.God bless you, enjoy your day!
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleSaturday 17th May How Faith Comes 6Faith begins with God. The scripture tells us that He gives everyone the measure of faith at salvation (Romans 12:3). However, we are not meant to remain at that starting point. Faith is meant to be ever growing till we operate in great faith. To truly walk in what God has prepared for us, we must mature in faith. It is not enough to simply say, “I have faith.” Faith must be demonstrated through consistent responses to God's Word. When we try to respond to God's Word by the works of the flesh, this shows a lack of faith. Mark. 4:40 MKJV And He said to them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?Matt. 14:31 GWT, Immediately, Jesus reached out, caught hold of him, and said, "You have so little faith! Why did you doubt?" Matt. 15:28 MKJV Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith! So be it to you even as you wish. And her daughter was healed from that very hour. When a person has no faith, it means the person is not responding to the Word or the person is responding in the flesh. Such a person doubts both God, His Word and His power. This is a dangerous place to be, because such a person is disconnected from the very source of life and strength. Someone once said, “Have faith in your faith,” It's important to have faith in God but we must also have confidence in that faith we have in God.Let us move beyond the place of “no faith” and keep growing to the point of great faith—the kind that believes in the face of opposition and receives what God has promised. I encourage you today: examine your response to God's Word, let faith grow in your heart as you spend time with God fellowshipping with Him. God bless you, enjoy your day!
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleFriday 16th MayHow Faith Comes 5Faith is a vital to our lives as believers. Even though there is a lot of teachings and resources about faith, yet it is still one of the most frustrating concepts for people, especially when it comes to receiving God's promise. When things are not going the way we expect, it's easy to assume that it's a lack of faith problem, but this is not always the case. As important as faith is to our spiritual growth, there still other important factors in the process. However, for our faith to be effective, it must grow.At salvation, God gives each person a measure of faith. However, how that faith grows depends on how we use it. Faith develops progressively—from one level to another. In addressing people's faith, Jesus identified three levels of faith: no faith, little faith, and great faith. Whatever we accomplish in life is largely influenced by our level of faith.Mark 4:40 (NKJV): "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" Jesus rebuked His disciples during a storm when they panicked, showing no faith.Matthew 14:31 (GWT) Immediately, Jesus reached out, caught hold of him, and said, "You have so little faith! Why did you doubt?" Matthew 15:28 (NKJV): “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” This was said to a persistent woman who believed despite initial rejection, and her daughter was healed. Here we see Jesus identify the level of faith some people were operating with based on His interaction with them. If one operates at any level of this faith, it means faith can change in levels, either to decrease or increase. But our desire is to understand how to keep growing our faith. And it is my prayer that this study will equip you for that in Jesus' Name.God bless you, enjoy your day!
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleThursday, 15th MayHow Faith Comes 4Faith is essential for fulfilling God's purpose in our lives, but how does it come? Jesus once asked, “When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth?” This highlights the importance of faith. Scripture teaches that faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the Word of God. However, this "hearing" is actually about "audience with God" not just mere hearing —it requires deep fellowship with God through study and prayer. At salvation, God gives everyone a basic measure of faith. Like a seed, faith must be cultivated to grow. The more developed a believers faith is, the more they can achieve. But faith will not grow automatic—it grows by exercising it.In Luke 17, Jesus taught His disciples about forgiveness, commanding them to always forgive no matter what. The disciples, overwhelmed, asked Him to increase their faith. Jesus replied that just as a mustard seed grows and becomes a great tree when planted, so it is with faith . His point: faith doesn't increase by askin for more, but by using the faith we already have.Luke 17:5–6 (TPT) says:5 “Upon hearing this, the apostles said to Jesus, ‘Lord, you must increase our measure of faith!'6 Jesus responded, ‘If you have even the smallest measure of faith, it would be powerful enough to say to this large tree, "My faith will pull you up by the roots and throw you into the sea," and it will respond to your faith and obey you.'”Faith grows through action. God won't increase our faith for us—it's our responsibility. Like a mustard seed must be planted to grow, our faith must be exercised.Start putting your faith to work in everyday situations and watch it grow and accomplish great things in your life.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleWednesday, 14th MayHow Faith Comes 3Our focus this week is - How Faith Comes. Where does faith come from and how do we develop it? Faith is not a religious idea—it is a vital key in the Kingdom of God. Without it, we cannot truly live a victorious Christian life or overcome the systems of this world. So, where is the origin of this faith and how can we develop it?Romans 12:3 (GNB), "Do not think of yourself more highly than you should. Instead, be modest in your thinking and judge yourself according to the amount of faith that God has given you."Romans 12:3: (TPT)"God has given me grace to speak a warning about pride. I would ask each of you to be empty of self-promotion and not create a false image of your importance. Instead, honestly assess your worth by using your God-given faith as the standard of measurement."Two things stand out to us from this scripture:• God gives everyone a basic measure of faith to start with.• Faith can grow. It's like when you get a new SIM card and it comes with some starter air time on it. Likewise, God gives each of us all a “starting measure of faith”—not earned, but freely deposited in us when we receive Christ. From there, it becomes our responsibility is to develop this faith. No one is born with “great faith.” We all begin with the same measure, but as we fellowship with God, meditate and act on His Word, walk in obedience, that faith begins to grow and becomes stronger. As faith grows and become stronger, it can accomplish more in the kingdom of God.So, as a child of God, you already have faith. The question is, are you developing your faith by using?God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleTuesday, 13th MayHow Faith Comes 2In Luke 8, when a storm threatened to sink their boat, the disciples panicked and woke Jesus. After calming the storm, Jesus asked them, “Where is your faith?” This question wasn't just about the moment—it challenged their understanding and use of faith.Jesus expected more from His disciples because of the time they had spent with Him. When they were at a loss of what to do, they ran to Jesus, which is fine, but they did it out of fear and confusion. Jesus expected them to raise up to the situation and exercise their faith. He felt they should have learnt how to respond to issues by faith not just be observers around Him. Jesus came not only to save us but also to show us what's possible through faith. So, where does faith come from?Romans 10:17 (NKJV), “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”Rom 10:17 TPT Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God's anointed utterance of the Anointed One.”Faith doesn't appear automatically because we're Christians. It is birthed and nurtured within us. It resides in our spirit, in the heart, and it grows through fellowship with God.It's not just about just hearing sermons or reading Scripture as important as these are. It's about internalizing the life and presence of God through meditation and fellowship with God. True hearing comes when we have an audience with God, when we engage Him deeply. You can be in the same space with someone and not know them, but real fellowship brings you into heartfelt connection.Faith is birthed in that place of intentional, consistent fellowship. It's not a one-time event. The more we commune with God, not just pray or read, but truly listening to Him and responding, the more faith rises within us.As you commit to doing this, watch how faith will grow in your heart.God bless you. Enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleFaith Framework 8Thursday, 8th MayJesus, while teaching about prayer, used the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8 to illustrate the importance of doggedness and unwavering faith in the place of prayer. Despite the unjust judge's reluctance, the widow refused to give up until she got justice. This prompted Jesus to ask, “When the Son of Man returns, will He find this kind of faith on the earth?” It was a serious question—born from concern that life's overwhelming challenges might cause people to give up on contending in faith. Many today only exercise faith to make heaven, not to receive what God has promised here on earth. But God wants us to awaken that kind of faith again. All through the gospels, we see how Jesus used questions to provoke thought and awaken spiritual consciousness like He asked in Luke 18:8. In Luke 8:24–25 (GNB), The disciples went to Jesus and woke him up, saying, “Master, Master! We are about to die!” Jesus got up, gave an order to the wind and waves, and there was calm. Then he asked, “Where is your faith?”Jesus had told His disciple that they were sailing to the other side of the sea, in the process a storm arose. Terrified the disciples in panic woke Him because they believed they were going to die. After calming the storm, He asked his disciples, “Where is your faith?”Jesus wasn't implying they had no faith, at least they had enough faith to wake Him up. But He was pointing to a deeper kind of faith: the faith that stands strong in the face of life's storms, faith that acts on His word without panicking.Just like then, Jesus is still asking us today: “Where is your faith?”I pray that before this study is concluded, you will find and develop the kind of faith that overcomes life's storm and walks in victory daily in Jesus' Name.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleThe Faith Framework 6Tuesday, 6th MayFrom the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18, Jesus asked an important question that is still relevant to us as believers today, “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” The answer is yes—He will find people who believe in Him. But Jesus was referring to another kind of faith: the kind that believes in His finished work on the cross and stands firm until the promises of God are fully manifested. Many people, overwhelmed by life's challenges, have settled for mere survival, focusing only on making it to heaven while having little or nothing to show for their time on earth. It's important that we keep our hope not just for the things in heaven but reach out in faith for the things God has already made available for us on earth now. Remember, “God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” That means there are rewards to be received in this life as we persist in faith. Like the widow, we must know our rights in Christ and be willing to stand our ground. In Mark 10:28–30 (NLT) Peter asked Jesus, what reward would come from following Him:“Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake... will receive now in return a hundred times as many... along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.”This confirms that God blesses us both now and in eternity. The issue is not whether rewards exist—it's whether Jesus will find believers exercising the faith required to receive them. So, ask yourself: Do I have the kind of faith that stands until God's promises manifest? I pray you will do all you have to do to grow in that faith and receive all that Christ has made available for you in Jesus' Name.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleSunday, 4th MayThe Faith Framework 4After sharing the parable of the persistent widow, Jesus asked His disciples a profound question: “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8). The Passion Translation frames it as: “Will He find this kind of persistent faith in His people?”Faith, as expressed in Scripture, has different dimensions. The first is believing in God—trusting that He exists, that Jesus came, died, and offers salvation. The second is believing that God will do what He has promised to do. This second kind of faith is what Jesus was talking about: persistent, enduring faith.Sadly, this dimension of faith is becoming rare. Many believers struggle to stand firm when God's promises seem delayed. Yet, Hebrews 11:6 (GWT) reminds us: “No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.”This verse outlines two dimensions of faith. • Faith that God exists.• Faith that God rewards. Many people believe in the existence of God, but most people don't believe that God is actively involved in their lives and has great rewards for them in this present world and in heaven. The truth is that, the manifestation of God's rewards in our lives is not automatic, we must diligently pursue it with focus and dedication. It is this kind of pursuit, focus and dedication the widow applied in getting the unjust judge to grant her what she requested for. But that tenacity of faith is not in most believers again. This is the kind of faith Jesus is looking for. Faith that doesn't quit. Faith that presses on for healing, provision, protection, or breakthrough—whatever God has promised. Are you ready to stand your ground? Do you believe God is a rewarder? Are you persistent in your faith, waiting and expecting His promises to manifest?God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleSaturday, 3rd MayThe Faith Framework 3As we continue study, we're drawing inspiration from the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. She had approached the unrighteous city judge to demand justice from her adversary, but because he had no regard for God or people, he paid no attention to her. She refused to give up, when the unrighteous judge saw her determination to get justice, he answered and gave her and gave her all she wanted. At the end of the parable, Jesus posed a profound question: “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” This question remains as relevant today as it was then.Let's see how this question is asked in different translation of the Bible (Luke. 18:8):MKJV: “He will avenge them speedily. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?”TPT: “God will give swift justice to those who don't give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting... Will He find this kind of undying faith on earth?”AMPC: “He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [persistent] faith on the earth?”Yes, Jesus will find faith—because it takes faith to believe in Him. But He's not referring to this kind of faith. Here, he's talking about the faith it takes to receive the manifestation of God's promise. It's truly getting rare. This kind of faith stands its ground. It doesn't waver with time or pressure. We sing the song, “God said it, I believe it, that settles it...” But are we truly standing until the manifestation comes? Today, God is calling us to stand firm, believe, and persist until His promises become reality in our lives.I pray your faith will be strengthened through this study and you will experience new levels of manifestation in Jesus' Name.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleFriday, 2nd MayThe Faith Framework 2As we continue exploring the subject of The Faith Framework, we turn our focus to practical elements that help us live by faith and walk in greater victory. Faith is foundational to our relationship with God—it takes faith, alongside grace, to receive salvation, and it also takes faith to grow and live out God's purpose daily. The Bible makes it clear: “The just shall live by faith.” This statement is so vital it appears in both the Old and New Testaments—Habakkuk, Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews all affirm it. The “just” are those who have come to know Jesus, and their lifestyle must be lived out by faith.Revisiting the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8, the widow stood her ground before the unrighteous judge, seeking justice against her adversary. Even though the judge neither feared God nor cared for people, he eventually granted her request—not out of compassion, but because of her relentless persistence.Jesus concluded the parable with a powerful question in Luke 18:8;(MKJV), I say to you that He will avenge them speedily. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?(TPT), God will give swift justice to those who don't give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting, in the same way as the widow. Even so, when the Son of Man comes back, will he find this kind of undying faith on earth?”(AMPC), I tell you; He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [[a]persistence in] faith on the earth? This isn't just about having faith in God to go to heaven, it's about having persistent faith to possess your possessions on earth. The kind that refuses to quit. The kind that stands firm on God's promises, regardless of delay or opposition. This type of faith is becoming rare, but this is one of the major things Jesus expects from us today.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleThursday, 1st MayThe Faith Framework 1We thank God for bringing us into the month of May, the fifth month of the year. His love, mercy, and grace have sustained us, and for that, we give Him all the praise. I pray that the grace of Jesus will be abundant in your life this month and that His mercy and love will continually surround you in Jesus' Name. This month, we will be discussing the subject of faith – The Faith Framework. Faith is one of those foundational teachings of the Bible of which much is said but little is understood. We will discuss this with a fresh perspective and clearly, we will not be able to fully exhaust this topic. But we trust God to equip you enough to be able to build up and grow in your faith from there. In the Gospel of Luke 18:1-8, Jesus gave the story of a wicked judge and a widow who got justice from the judge in spite of his unwillingness to help her. How did she do it – she was persistent in her faith. After telling His disciples this parable, he asked them a question; Luke 18:8(MKJV), I say to you that He will avenge them speedily. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?Luke 18: 8 (TPT), God will give swift justice to those who don't give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting, in the same way as the widow. Even so, when the Son of Man comes back, will he find this kind of undying faith on earth?”Luke 18:8 (AMPC), I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [[a]persistence in] faith on the earth?Jesus was asking if He will meet faith on earth when He comes and the straight answer to that is yes. Without faith on the earth, He wouldn't return. There will be a lot of people who have faith in Jesus when He comes, the challenge is – “Do you have the faith to believe that what He promised you will manifest in your life?” This is the real question Jesus was asking. What is your answer?God bless, enjoy the day and the rest of your month in Jesus' Name!

Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleTuesday, 29th AprilHe's Alive Again: The Present-Day Ministry of Jesus 9Jesus' resurrection is not just a one-off demonstration of power grace, and love—it is a continuous theme of His present-day ministry on our behalf. As we reflect on the resurrection this season, it's important to understand that Jesus' triumph was not just to prove that the Kingdom of God was more powerful than the kingdom of darkness, we were on His mind. He is our perfect representative in heaven. He is fully God, yet fully man, and He understands every struggle we face. When Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, (Phil. 4:13)" it is rooted in the understanding that Jesus walked this earth, experienced its challenges and triumphed, so we can receive that same grace from Him. God is not distant or disconnected from our daily lives. He is intimately involved in every detail—big and small. When you are sensitive to His presence, you'll realize He constantly inviting you: "Bring your pressures, your victories, your failures, your celebrations, your pain—bring it all to Me." He desires to be an active part of your life, no matter the situation. At the throne of grace, Jesus is interceding for you. Whether you need mercy, strength, wisdom, or grace, He is ready to supply it. He knows your weaknesses, your fears, your dreams—and He cares deeply. You are not alone. Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleFriday 25th AprilHe's Alive Again: The Present-Day Ministry of Jesus 5Jesus Christ is risen and alive, this is the foundation of our faith and the essence of His present-day ministry. Often, we focus so much on what He did in the past that we forget He's actively ministering even now.His present-day ministry operates in two realms: in heaven and on earth. Heaven is the headquarters of Kingdom and the earth is the operation field. Jesus present day ministry on the earth is through the Holy Spirit and the church, in heaven He serves in a number of roles but we will consider three that directly impact us.1. High Priest: Jesus, after His resurrection, presented His own blood to the Father as the final sacrifice for our sins. As our high priest, He continually represents us before God, fulfilling the priestly role of standing in the gap for humanity. Hebrews 4:14 reminds us that we have a great high priest in God's presence—Jesus, the Son of God.2. Advocate: Jesus is also our advocate, our divine lawyer, supporter, the one defending us against the accusations of the enemy. According to 1 John 2:1, even when we stumble, we have Someone who speaks on our behalf before the Father. His advocacy doesn't excuse us from prayer or give us the right to sin because we have an advocate.3. Intercessor: Jesus still intercedes for us. His prayers continue for us in heaven, as seen in the book of Hebrews. His intercession ensures we're continually covered and supported in our walk with God.These three roles, high priest, advocate and intercessor are a major part of His present-day ministry in heaven and influence every aspect of our spiritual journey on earth. They are not just theological titles; they are active, ongoing expressions of His love and commitment to us. May His present day ministry become real in your life in Jesus' Name.God bless you. Enjoy the rest of your day.
DVD With Niyi Adekunle Thursday 24th April He's Alive Again: The Present-Day Ministry of Jesus 4Many wonder what Jesus is doing now. Is He in heaven simply to wait for the rapture of the saints? Is He watching us from afar as we go through life's challenges? The Bible clearly shows that Jesus is not idle in heaven. He is actively involved in our world. Ephesians 1:20–22 (MSG) says God raised Christ from the dead and set Him in authority over the universe—galaxies, governments, and all things—now and forever. Christ rules it all, through the Church. The Gospels show Jesus' earthly ministry, but the epistles reveal His ongoing work through the Church. How does He do this?John 16:14–15 (TPT) explains that the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus by receiving what is His and revealing it to us. Everything the Father has belongs to Jesus, and the Spirit brings that divine knowledge to us. This highlights a powerful partnership: the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and us.Though Jesus ascended, He is present on earth through the Holy Spirit. He reveals the will of the Father to us, and as we respond in obedience, that's how His will is done on earth as in heaven. So, part of the present-day ministry of Jesus is this: He receives from the Father, gives to the Holy Spirit, who then reveals it to us. Through our obedience, Jesus continues to rule and work on earth. The more we yield to Him, the more His glory is revealed. You have a vital role in this ministry.I pray that in the name of Jesus, you will not miss your part in what He is doing today. God bless you enjoy your day
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleWednesday, 23rd AprilHe's Alive Again: The Present-Day Ministry of Jesus 3Jesus' ministry is well and active at the right hand of the Father in heaven, He's for the restoring and fulfilling all things. This work is ongoing and will continue until the end of time. The work Jesus is doing from heaven today impacts on the entire universe, government, the church and even into our personal lives. Many of us need restoration and long to see God's promises fulfilled in our lives. Jesus is doing this work—through the Holy Spirit, the angels and through us, His church.A powerful reminder from an old song declares:“He's alive again, the stone's been rolled away. He's alive again, He is no longer where He lay. He's alive again, I can hear the angels sing. He's alive!”The truth of this song is encouraging to us, why? No matter how dark or hopeless life gets, Jesus is alive, and the devil does not have the final say. Jesus' current ministry is about bringing healing, purpose, and power to every area of life.Eph. 1:20-22 MSG, All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but [forever]. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church.Jesus taught us to pray, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” God's will is being carried out through His people on earth today. As we grasp this truth and yield to Him, we walk in His authority and dominion. God bless you, enjoy your day.

Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Saturday 19th April His Descent and Ascent 6 This Easter Season is a good time to remember God's love for us and the finished work of Christ. Jesus didn't just die—He descended into the lower realms, broke the power of hell, and rose victorious. He took captivity captive. The devil once had control and held people bound in spiritual chains, but he could not hold Jesus. Act 2:24 TPT, God destroyed the cords of death and raised him up, because it was impossible for death's power to hold him prisoner.Death, sin, and hell had no power strong enough to stop Him. Eph 4:8-10 TPT This is why he says: “He ascends into the heavenly heights taking his many captured ones with him, and gifts were given to men.” 9 He “ascended” means that he returned to heaven, after he had first descended from the heights of heaven, even descending as far as the lowest parts of the earth. 10 The same one who descended is also the one who ascended above the heights of heaven, in order to begin the restoration and fulfillment of all things.Jesus' resurrection and ascension broke every chain. He stripped the enemy of authority. And just as the devil couldn't hold Jesus down, he can't hold you down either. The same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you today. That's why, when people give their lives to Christ when they confess, pray and surrender to the Lord devil can't stop them.Jesus' ascension is our liberation. He didn't just rise, when He rose, we rose up with Him and ascended with Him with authority. The enemy will do everything to try to intimidate, distract, or confuse you about this reality, but the truth remains whether you believe it or not.Christ's ascension is Satan's demotion and your elevation. You're are now seated with Christ in heavenly places far above every demonic force. (Ephesians 2:6)This is the good news about Easter.God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Friday 17 April His Descent and Ascent 5It's Good Friday!Everything is working together for your good in Jesus' Name.Christ's descent and ascent is the subject that we are still discussing and that is really about the three days and nights He spent in the belly of the earth. The shedding of His blood on the cross was the price He paid for our sins, but His descent and ascent, secured our victory from the devil, death and the other forces of hell.Colossians 2:15 (TPT), 15 Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his!In those three day and nights, He completely disarmed the powers and authorities of darkness and made a public spectacle of them. He didn't descend as a prisoner, but as a conqueror. After His conquest, He paraded them as prisoners Just like in the Roman Empire used to parade their prisoners through the streets after their victory. In Matthew 27:52-53, we read that when Jesus died, the veil in the temple was torn and many who had died were seen walking through the city — a powerful sign that death had lost its grip.Psalm 68:18 says, “You ascended on high, leading captivity captive.” He took the righteous who had been held and brought them out into heaven and there was nothing the devil could do! His descent and ascent is a clear indication that the forces of hell are not as powerful religion has tried to make them. The Resurrection Experience is a reminder that in Christ we are more than conquerors ONLY BECAUSE OF WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE.Go over these truths again without rushing, go through the bible references and then meditate and watch how these truth will radically change your life. God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Thursday 17th April His Descent and Ascent 4When Jesus declared, "It is finished," on the cross, He gave up the ghost and descended to the realm of the dead. He was there for three days and three nights, just as He had foretold, likening it to Jonah's time in the belly of the whale. Col 2:13-15 TPT This “realm of death” describes our former state, for we were held in sin's grasp. But now, we've been resurrected out of that “realm of death” never to return, for we are forever alive and forgiven of all our sins! 14 He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. 15 Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his! In those three days, Jesus came into a pace when Satan and his cohorts exerted control and completely disarmed them. So, in reality Satan has no power over anyone in Christ, the only power he has now is the power of deception. By conquering the Satan in his own domain, Jesus Lordship was established in the heavens, on earth and under the earth. The Devil has succeeded in deceiving many people including believers that he still has great power, but according to the New Testament based on the finished work of Christ that is not true. All he has is deception, Jesus has stripped him of all authority – never forget that. God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Wednesday, 16th April His Descent and Ascent 3 After Jesus' crucifixion and death, His spirit descended to Sheol—the place of the dead. After three days and nights, He ascended back to the earth and then to the highest heavens. What happened during the three days and three nights? When Jesus declared, "It is finished," His sacrifice fully satisfied God's judgment. His descent into hell gave Him the opportunity to confront and conquer the devil and the host of hell. In those three days and night, Jesus conquered death, disarmed the enemy, and secured our eternal victory. By His descent, Jesus Christ defeated death, broke the power of hell and by His ascent He forever established our freedom from the grave and all of Satan's powers. When we think deeply about all that Christ has done for us, we cannot but be thankful. God bless you, enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi Adekunle Tuesday 15th April His Descent And Ascent 2Jesus didn't just come to earth to save us from sin, He died, descended to the lowest parts of it, to the realm of the dead, and then ascended to the highest place in heaven. And all this, He did this for your sake. When He died, he descended to Hades which is sometime referred to as hell, sheol or the place of the dead.Psalm 16:10 (NKJV), “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.”Psalm 16:10 (TPT) puts it this way: “For you will not abandon me to the realm of death, nor will you allow your Faithful One to experience corruption.”According to Scriptures, Sheol, has two parts. In the story of Lazarus and the rich man, we see this clearly: Lazarus was carried to Abraham's bosom (paradise), while the rich man was in torment (hell). Luk.16:22-23 After His death on the cross, Jesus descended into Sheol to confront the devil and liberate those held captive. This is why Psalm 16:10 says, that “You will not leave my soul in hell, not allow you holy one sees corruption…”. Jesus went to the place of the dead, triumphed over the enemy and released the righteous souls awaiting redemption. This victory has significant meaning for us. It confirms that death and the powers of hell has no dominion over those in Christ. Jesus has already conquered Sheol, stripped the devil of his power, and broken the chains of the grave. Because of this, we now have access to life, freedom, and victory. Always remember this - IN CHRIST, DEATH AND HELL HAS NO POWER OVER YOU!I pray for you today: In every area the enemy seeks to exert the power of Sheol over your life—be it fear, bondage, or oppression—that power be broken in Jesus' Name. Christ has already finished the work for you. Stand in that victory and live free.God bless you, and enjoy your day.
Daily Voice Devotional With Niyi Adekunle Monday 14th April His Descent And Ascent 1We've been reflecting on Christ's resurrection experience; we have discussed His suffering and deaths and what it means to us as believers and the benefits we derive from these things. This week we want to focus on His descent and ascent. What happened when He descended to the place of the dead, and He was there for 3 days and 3 nights before His ascended. Ephesians 4:9-10 (TPT) says, “He ‘ascended' means that he returned to heaven after he had first descended from the heights of heaven, even to the lower regions, namely, the earth. The same one who descended is also the one who ascended above the heights of heaven, in order to begin the restoration and fulfillment of all things.”After His death, He descended into the place of the dead, some versions of the Bible refer to the place of the dead as Hades or hell. Before His sacrifice, the dead went to the place of the dead. This place was divided into two parts – paradise or Abrham's Bosom this was for the faithful. The other part was the place of torment which was for those unfaithful to God.For three days and nights, He contended with the devil and all the forces of hell and triumphed over them. His victory was complete and eternal. From that place, He ascended to the highest heavens, restoring all things and declaring His Lordship over everything. Now, He reigns over the heavens, the earth and the depths beneath the earth.Christ's journey from heaven to earth, to death, to Hades, and back to heaven—was a mission of restoration and victory. And He did it for us so that we could be one with Him and walk in the dominion He had always destined for us on the earth. As we continue in this study, I pray that you will gain a clear greater clarity of this truth in Jesus' Name.God bless you, and enjoy your day.
