The Bible is filled with one-liners that sound right, look good, and seem helpful for the challenges we tend to face in life. But what if these one-liners have been misunderstood? What if God really does give me more than I can handle? What if His plans to prosper me weren't specifically about me? And what if asking for anything in Jesus' name isn't as simple as it sounds? The Bible is the unfolding story of God's plan of redemption through His Son, Jesus Christ. Every line, verse, and narrative fits into the larger story—from Genesis to Revelation. And every passage, promise, and command is given within a context that will help us read God's Word the way He intends us to.This summer, we invite you to learn how to read the Bible with us! Together, we'll look at some of the most misused, misunderstood, and misquoted verses—and discover how our bad news assumptions can become good news invitations when we read them in light of God's bigger gospel story. Let's observe, interpret, and apply Scripture together, and watch as God grows our faith through the life-giving truth He has spoken to us in Jesus.

Send us a text"All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name," a hymn so universally beloved it's often called "The National Anthem of Christendom." Join us as we trace the remarkable journey of Edward Perronet, born in 1726 to a French Huguenot pastor and associate of the Wesley brothers. Perronet's life exemplified devotion to the King he proclaimed. We explore this hymn's global impact through moving stories it has influenced, and the musical settings that have carried these words through centuries. Verse by verse, we unpack the theological richness of this hymn culminating in the vision of eternity where every nation, tribe, and tongue will sing a new song to our Savior and "crown Him Lord of all."At its heart, this hymn offers us profound liberation—the joy of finally laying down the crowns we were never meant to wear, surrendering what we've tried to control since the Garden. In a culture obsessed with self-glory, "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name" stands as a countercultural anthem and proclaims that the only true and rightful King is Jesus.Ready to experience this majestic hymn with fresh ears and a renewed heart? Evangelist Jake Foster - Sunday Morning Service - 06.01.2025. A message on baptism. We believe in being baptized in Jesus Name per Acts 2:38.
April 26, 2025 - Equipped 2025 - Day 3 - 6:30PM Session Mike leads a lesson on "supremely supreme". He discusses Jesus's awesomeness. Philippians 2 - Unity Through Humility 2 Therefore if there is any [a]consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. The Humbled and Exalted Christ 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [b]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [c]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Light Bearers 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without [d]complaining and disputing,[e] 15 that you may become blameless and [f]harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. 17 Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. 18 For the same reason you also be glad and rejoice with me. Timothy Commended 19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your [g]state. 20 For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state. 21 For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus. 22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel. 23 Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it goes with me. 24 But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly. Epaphroditus Praised 25 Yet I considered it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, but your messenger and the one who ministered to my need; 26 since he was longing for you all, and was distressed because you had heard that he was sick. 27 For indeed he was sick almost unto death; but God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. 28 Therefore I sent him the more eagerly, that when you see him again you may rejoice, and I may be less sorrowful. 29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness, and hold such men in esteem; 30 because for the work of Christ he came close to death, [h]not regarding his life, to supply what was lacking in your service toward me. Video: 2025 Equipped Workshop 4-26-25 - "JESUS,NAME ABOVE ABOVE ALL NAMES"- Mike Vestal Duration 42:26
In this powerful message, we explore one of Jesus' most compassionate miracles — healing a woman who had been bound by a spirit of infirmity for 18 long years. As Jesus speaks life and freedom over her on the Sabbath, we see the power of His authority over both physical and spiritual bondage. Pastor [Insert Name if applicable] challenges us to examine what areas in our own lives need to be loosed in Jesus' Name! This isn't just a historical account — it's a call to action. Whether you're battling emotional heaviness, chronic sickness, or spiritual chains, Jesus still sets captives free. Tune in and be reminded that your release is found in Him.

Website: http://www.brministry.org | App: http://get.theapp.co/725cThe enemy sets traps for believers. Do you know the traps that Satan sets for you? We must ask God for the bait that we would go after in our flesh. God wants us to be aware and stand against these traps in Jesus Name and in humility.
This is message 8 in The Power of God's Name John 14:13-16, 15:16, 16:23-26 To ask in Jesus' name, as taught in John 14-16, is not a formula for getting what one wants, but a call to pray in alignment with Christ's will and authority. Jesus prepared His disciples to approach the Father with confidence, assuring them that their prayers would be heard and answered when offered in His name. Asking in Jesus' name means seeking God's glory, bearing spiritual fruit, and experiencing the joy of a relationship with the Father. It is both a sacred privilege and a serious responsibility, granted to those who belong to Christ and are committed to His purposes. Send us a textIn this study, we will be covering what it means to put on the bond of perfection, which is charity. We study through what it means for the peace of God to rule in our hearts, and at our need of being thankful. Paul told us to let the word of Christ to dwell in us, and then he spoke of how we need to admonish one another. We are to do this in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, so we discuss what this might include. We finish up in v. 17 where Paul said that whatever we do, we need to do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus. In our Q&A segment, we give an answer to a most interesting question: How does the dead bury the dead? This powerful study presents us with much good that we need to do, so you don't want to miss this, come study God's Word with us today!
