Why is the black man inherently nervous around the police? In this episode, I share my thoughts about the recent GUILTY verdict of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd. Finding Chauvin guilty is not a cause for celebration BECAUSE we have 'Derek Chauvins' everywhere, including the UK.... and George Floyd happens every day.

This episode was recorded at the very beginning of the #Endsars movement in Nigeria, without any indication that the protests would take such a serious turn. At the time of recording this Podcast, SARS as a unit had not been disbanded. So, I caught up with a friend who also has a stake in Nigeria and our conversation touched on Police brutality and the fact that, for so long, Kolade Johnson was the only victim of police brutality most could remember. Meanwhile George Floyd was on the lips of most Nigerians. It's not fair, and I was looking to address that, when as expected, the conversation pivoted wildly and touch on various in-your-face issues facing the country. It was a necessary conversation. Have a listen!!

Following the passing of a dear friend recently, I got thinking about life. The way we live, how we act with other people and the legacy we live behind when we are gone kept playing on my mind. This episode, short as it may be, opens up some difficult questions about life, and death. Death is a debt we all have to pay, and even though I still find it difficult to wrap my head around mortality, I find that it is an opportunity for us all to act right. Listen and live right.
