Play Episode Listen Later May 5, 2021 37:39

This week's episode features a discussion with Josh Heintz and Dom Caldararo, the creators of the Project 48 fundraiser. After COVID shut down the ultra-endurance event that they had been training for over 2 years, Dom and Josh sought an outlet for their training that could be of benefit to others. This hatched the idea for Project 48, a 48-hour relay run to raise money for various charities. Now in its second iteration, this year's event is sponsored by, and dedicated to, the Mario Lemieux Foundation and Austin's Playroom, a top cancer research foundation, established by Pittsburgh Penguins legend Mario Lemieux. I encourage you to listen to their story and DONATE to their amazing cause. To donate to Project 48, visit https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E12461&id=44
