Garbage Time Takes

In episode 12, Derek, Bobby, and Dennis switch the focus from pro-sports to the NCAA college basketball scene, discussing the upcoming march madness tournament and the prospects of each of their teams. In addition, Bobby and Derek rip Dennis a new one in regards to the strength of the American Athletic Conference and discuss the possibility of Michigan rolling them over in the first round of the tourney. The crew also discusses the new 'Mic'ed Up' feature of MLB spring training, and how that could translate to the regular season. Garbage Time Takes your money has 2 games they discuss this week, as well as everyone's favorite segment to end it, the Right Bench Baller! 

Well folks after a week off we are back! Dennis, Bobby, and Derek discuss the absolutely crazy comments by the MLB commissioner about the World Series trophy. The NFL combine marks the start of draft season and the boys are all over it. We discuss the medical evaluation of Tua and Joe Burrow to the Bengals. Finally, we discuss March Madness and the teams we believe will make a run in the tourney before making our predictions in Garbage Time Takes your money and revealing our Right Bench Ballers. In the 10th episode of Garbage Time Takes, listen and Derek and Bobby rake Dennis over the coals on Valentines Day for his steamy love life. Also the boys go off on the Houston Astros for their halfhearted "apology" to the MLB world. As Dennis runs off to his hot date, Bobby and Derek hold down the fort discussing the upcoming NBA All Star weekend and Detroit Lion's free agency news. As talks turn to football, we discuss who should have been Super Bowl MVP and who was responsible for the 49ers' choke job. For the first time this year, college basketball gets its time on the podcast and the American conference takes a beating per usual. Are you a fan of the MLB? In the inaugural episode of 2020 the boys discuss the seriousness of the Astros' cheating scandal, Antonio Brown's arrest, and if Eli Manning is truly a hall-of-famer. Coaches are on the hot seat in this weeks edition of Garbage Time Takes. Listen to Derek dive into his disappointment on Michigan's loss to OSU last Saturday. The Spartans are bowl eligible (finally), and the Chips are MAC West Champions! The boys also put the NBA on blast for reffing incompetence, and take a look at current standings in the eastern conference of the NBA. With the Lions and Bengals taking horrible losses, what more can we talk expect from these sorry franchises. Listen to Dennis, Bobby, and Derek mope about their teams losing as always, but rejoicing in the fact that the Northern Illinois Huskies have claimed the Right Bench Baller status for the week. Finally, the crew discusses the Thanksgiving NFL match-ups as well as the College Football Playoff scene. All this and more on Episode 5, but just know, we've (our teams have) hit rock bottom. 

As hate week concludes, the mediocrity never ends. The boys are back to discuss the ever losing Lions and Bengals and how they need to act going forward to turn things around. In college football news, MSU takes a fat L to Michigan, Alabama loses their star quarterback, and Minnesota is expose as 'fraudulent'.
