Joe Gardner is a middle aged man who is struggling with his purpose in life, as he drifts through life as a part time middle school band teacher. But suddenly his dreams are dumped into his lap by a former student, and as he's on the cusp of fulfilling his dreams he almost dies, knocking his 'Soul' out of his body. He then is transported to the great before where he's assigned to mentor a rebellious soul named 22. In this film they both discover part of what's meaningful about life and the need to change into better people. Rated PG for thematic elements and some language. This movie can be found on Disney Plus or is purchasable anywhere movies can be purchased.
The duo episode to compensate for the lack of content these past three weeks. 'Onward' is the story of two elves, Ian and Barley, (Tom Holland and Chris Pratt respectively) as they journey on a quest to complete a spell that will allow them to see their father. The spell works, but only for their father's legs. They have 24 hours to find a crystal that will allow them to complete the spell so their dad can see them. This story is an extremely endearing tale of brotherhood, fatherhood, and family. Rated PG for action/peril and some mild thematic elements. This movie can be found on Disney Plus or is rentable anywhere movies can be rented.
DEAR LISTENERS: I'm sorry for lack of content over the past three weeks, but I made a move to Colorado. So here's two episodes to hopefully somewhat make up for the gap. Coco is the story of a young boy Miguel who stumbles into the land of the dead on the night of Dias Los Muertos, after he defies his family and plays music. The land of the dead is full of beautiful animation and stunningly good songs. This is a story centralized by self-discovery, culture, and the importance of family. Rated PG for thematic elements. This movie can be found on Disney Plus or is rentable anywhere movies can be rented. LINKS: For the trailer to Luca go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdAIBlPVe9s

The story follows a young dinosaur named Arlo as he tries to find his way back home after falling into some rapids. This coming of age, western, elemental, buddy dog movie is a sweet movie that could've packed a huge punch. Rated PG for action, peril, and thematic elements. In this episode we're discussing the love story/satire that is "WALL-E". It takes inspirational elements from silent films all the way to Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey."
