Its impossible to win a game when you don't know the rules. The supplement companies and the people selling diets want it this because it makes it easier to sell you. Its hard to fool someone with knowledge. And More importantly wisdom. If you can't do it for the rest of your life, then it is a diet that will not work for you.
Through fasting we can take advantage of elevated cortisol levels, access stored fat as a means to fuel our body, eventually reduce our morning hunger and allowing us to stave off the first meal until later in the day. And because we are more distracted during the day, it is much easier to not focus on food. However, as the evening approaches and our cortisol levels drop, we tend to become more hungry and run the risk of overeating. By strategically postponing our first meal until later in the day, we prevent overeating and total caloric load. However, Intermittent fasting will fail like any other diet tactic if we over consume and eat more calories than we burn. But if we can keep it in check, we will see our body fat decrease. As body fat decreases we are in turn healthier, not because of IF, but because of lower adiposity. Therefore, the claims that IF prevent cardiovascular disease and cancer are skewed because fatloss is the key, not IF. Once again, it’s not intermittent fasting that’s the magic, it’s the total control of calories and a healthy body fatness that is the saving grace.

Fear tells us bullshit lies like, we are not good enough, not talented enough, we don’t have enough resources and we can’t. Our environment is more powerful than our willpower; and the people that you surround yourself with will either feed your courage or feed your fear. Like wolves, the pack mentality drives every decision that each wolf makes. You do not realize it, but your life choices are being influenced by who you associate with and the conversations that you have. If you aren’t where you want to be, I can promise you that it is strongly associated with the people you spend your time with regularly. If your conversations are negative, full of complaints and often about other people, then you are gonna want to find a new circle.
