(February 4th, 2011) Savage arguing with a crazed liberal Chicago caller, Ronnie. He discusses his books, the U.S. political "oligarchy," takes more calls, and questions why WikiLeaks hasn't released cables about his Britain travel ban.
In this special episode, four young hunters sit down to share the stories of their first successful big game animals. My son James talks about preparing for and harvesting his first impala in Africa at age nine with a suppressed 25 Creedmoor. Heidi recounts the excitement (and nerves) of her first deer hunt where she took both a doe and a management buck with a Savage .243, Jake describes the long road that led to his first cow elk in Colorado, and William details the DIY Idaho bull elk he shot near home with a left-handed 7mm PRC. From range practice and gear choices to the emotional rollercoaster of the shot and recovery, these young hunters share their accounts of what it was like for them to take that first animal. Whether you're a parent introducing your kids to hunting or a hunter who still remembers their own first success, this episode is packed with memorable stories from the next generation. When people hear phrases like “human sacrifice” or “cannibalism” their minds don't immediately jump to the Crusades, Rome, medieval Europe, or the Bible. They jump straight to brown skin, feathered headdresses, and temples drenched in blood. Type in a quick Google search for the phrase and Mesoamericans (the Mexika/Aztec, in particular) become humanity's favorite villains. “Savage.” “Bloodthirsty.” “Barbaric.” And rest assured, this narrative didn't just happen by accident. It was deliberately engineered.listener comments? Feedback? In this episode, I sit down with Functional Synergy graduate Lindsay Savage to explore how movement professionals can integrate diverse training backgrounds into a cohesive, highly effective practice. Lindsay shares how bringing together over 1,000 hours of certifications helped her bridge the gap between logic and intuition to deliver more deliberate client results. We discuss how refining simple biomechanical components—like working with non-linear movement planes and "The Power of the Pits"—can reduce bracing patterns, ease pain, and support clients with mobility challenges or conditions like Parkinson's. Lindsay also breaks down her concept of "Spontaneous Core" and explains how a structured, hands-on practicum builds teaching confidence while creating a sustainable, income-generating business.

Savage interviews Newsmax founder Chris Ruddy about President Donald Trump's legacy, the midterms, and the political impact of the Iran war. They discuss how higher gas prices and the rising cost of living may pose a threat to Republicans in the midterm elections. They discuss the Iran War, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's leadership, and the potential consequences of the conflict for both America and Israel. They then address the rising antisemitism online and increasing anti-Jewish hate crimes. Ruddy breaks down recent FCC rulings that could encourage broadcast consolidation, reduce competition, and threaten independent outlets such as Newsmax. The conversation concludes with Ruddy sharing about his upbringing as one of fourteen children in an Irish Catholic family.
Any military lawyers in the house? A gay man and his boyfriend, both serving active duty, want to open their relationship. But infidelity is forbidden by military law. How risky would this be? Now that chastity play its all the rage, should we assume that a key necklace means something deeply kinky? And if so, should we knowingly wink when we see one? Sex/science nerds rejoice! Our Magnum guest this week is Distinguished Research Professor Dr. Lixing Sun, who wrote On the Origin of Sex. Dan and Dr. Sun discuss the deep biological underpinnings of sex: when and why did pleasure emerge in reproduction? Why hasn't homosexuality been selected against? And why don't we just reproduce like sponges? And, a woman no longer drinks, but her boyfriend still does. When he comes home reeking of beer and cigarettes, she feels repulsed by him. How can she explain that drinking a pitcher and getting laid that night are now mutually exclusive events? This episode is brought to you by Helix Sleep. Nicole, our resident domestic violence detective, comes back on the podcast for her third appearance—because everyone loves a comeback story... Especially Nicole.Listen in and have a good laugh as Nicole and the Savages explore all things domestic violence—and then wander wildly off course. We discuss guns tucked into leopard-print psychopants, Tesla's possible ghost-detection capabilities, AI casually choosing to murder humanity, and the glamorous world of autopsies, where “methodical and respectful” apparently means treating a body like a Costco chicken with a Sawzall. We also test our police instincts with bizarre calls involving an aggressively drunk raccoon, pitch the next reality-TV disaster—The Secret Lives of Hobo Wives—and continue honoring Jeremy through the unwavering attendance of his empty chair. Finally, Joce brings us a powerful Savage of the Week involving a dangerous domestic violence situation, some quick thinking, and an Alexa that helped call 911 when it mattered most.Listen, laugh, share the episode, and leave us a review. It helps more people find the show and encourages us to keep making terrible decisions behind microphones.Always remember... Stay SAVAGE.www.domesticatedsavages.com
Today, I'm talking with a couple who made a remarkably quick transition from a conventional life in Missouri to living and traveling full time in a converted school bus. Susan Savage worked 29 years as a social worker, while Tad Mayfield worked primarily in the printing industry. Susan had already retired, but Tad was still working long hours to maintain their lifestyle when they realized they wanted something different. The inspiration came while they were driving down a highway in Missouri and spotted a woman happily cruising along in a converted school bus. Susan told Tad she could live with him in a skoolie, and he agreed. They went home, crunched the numbers and called a realtor the next day. Within 31 days, their house, cars and most of their possessions were gone. They didn't even own a school bus yet. After finding a partially converted bus in Tennessee, they spent a couple of months getting it ready and hit the road. About six months later, while camping in Iowa, they were approached about becoming camp hosts. They didn't even know what camp hosting was at the time. But they gave it a try, enjoyed the experience and discovered there was an entire world of Workamping opportunities available to them. During the past four and a half years, Susan and Tad have worked at state parks and private campgrounds. They have served as camp hosts and tackled maintenance, cooking, cleaning and painting cabins. I enjoyed Susan Savage and Tad Mayfield's story because they demonstrate how Workamping can change the way people experience life on the road. For them, Workamping isn't simply a way to save money on camping. It allows them to slow down, become part of a community, meet people and experience things they might completely miss if they were moving every few days. They've also learned some important lessons along the way. First, flexibility is essential. Susan and Tad have arrived for a Workamping job only to discover the campground didn't know they were coming. They've also had another position canceled just two and a half weeks before they were supposed to arrive. Their advice is to be prepared to pivot and always have a Plan B. Second, be honest with employers about what you can and cannot do. Susan believes Workampers need to be authentic about their skills, abilities and limitations so both sides understand what to expect before the season begins. Finally, if you are seriously considering Workamping, Susan's advice is to give it a try. Even after breakdowns, canceled jobs, communication problems and other challenges during four and a half years on the road, she couldn't think of a reason they would stop living this way. If you would like to follow Susan and Tad's adventures, Susan posts periodic skoolie updates on Facebook under Susan Savage. Savage: The Making of Modern Dogs in British Hong Kong (Cornell University Press, 2026) explores the dark side of colonial modernity through canine eyes, showing the many ways that dogs involuntarily contributed to the modernization of twentieth-century Hong Kong. Dr. Catherine S. Chan follows the piecemeal transplantation of British animal humanitarianism as pedigree dogs accompanied hardening class differences, dogmeat became a contested racial issue, and dogs were roped into the long list of undesirables fabricated in the so-called golden era of reforms following the social disturbances of the 1960s. Dr. Chan reveals a fragmented civilizing project that constructed dogs as dangerous, filthy, and unnecessary nuisances in a burgeoning city, rationalizing the slaughter of tens of thousands of dogs alongside paradoxical criticism of the native population for perpetrating animal cruelty and the promotion of British animal humanitarianism. Departing from anthropocentric perspectives in understanding the use of Britishness in the molding of modern cities, Savage restores the presence and agency of dogs to encourage a rethinking of the patchiness of British colonial governance and the long-lasting repercussions that modernity can have on our relationship with animals. This interview was conducted by Dr. Miranda Melcher whose book focuses on post-conflict military integration, understanding treaty negotiation and implementation in civil war contexts, with qualitative analysis of the Angolan and Mozambican civil wars. (April 4, 2012 + November 20, 2020) Savage shares why life "sucks," happiness is fleeting, and accepting life's difficulty makes it easier to handle. He argues American weakness comes from media and cultural delusions that everyone should be happy. He criticizes reliance on government "crutches and a fantasy culture fueled by TV and movies. He recalls growing up with radio, valuing imagination, and says creative people transform sadness rather than suppress it with drugs. He then advises parents to teach children reality and how to be alone and resilient. Savage then reflects on the passage of time. He ponders why the passing of time feels faster with age? He urges younger people, even those estranged from their parents, to cherish them because the bond is irreplaceable.
(September 8th, 2009) Savage uses a History Channel documentary on Charles Manson and the "Helter Skelter" race-war idea to argue that America today is nearing similar social turmoil. He links 1960s counterculture to current politics, compares progressive movements and healthcare proposals to Bolshevism, Pol Pot, and Hitler's public-works socialism.
Pick up my new book The American Nightmare! => Click Here! In Today's Episode My CFO worked for free for four years for our company. He did not wait for success to be handed to him, he stepped up and volunteered for what other men would not do, and today he has the life he deserves because responsibility is not given, it is taken.. In this Wednesday episode, we are diving deep into the Legacy Code and breaking down why the weight you choose to carry on purpose is the only thing that builds a name worth remembering. The world wants you to travel light, avoid pain, and live only for yourself, but a comfortable man builds absolutely nothing.I am laying out the four pillars of the Legacy Code that I live by and that you need to start executing: Pick up the weight: Responsibility is not given, it is taken. Stop being avoidant and volunteer for the hard jobs other men run from. Commit past the feeling: True commitment only starts when your motivation dies. I remember when Jeremy and I were building our business and he had to tell me that he could not pay me this week. We did not quit when we ran out of money, we committed past the feeling because that is when real commitment begins. Suffer on purpose: Choose the hard road while it is still a choice. Do not wait until your family is in peril or your life falls apart to finally activate. Build what outlives you: Plant the trees you will never sit under. Legacy is love with a long term horizon. Savage shares his dark vision for America. He speculates about what will happen to the U.S. after Trump leaves office, arguing that economic pain could fuel a "revolution at the ballot box." He predicts rapid leftward political change amid a younger, more diverse population. He then revisits his 2015 book "Government Zero" where he outlined 40 actions to save America that will be unraveled by radical progressives. He describes how these measures could save America from decline, including starting a nationalist party; closing borders for seven years; deporting illegal aliens in prison; repealing "anchor babies"; making English the official language; voter ID; civics education; military reforms; cutting government; repairing relations with Russia; mutual defense with Israel while ending foreign aid; recognizing radical Islam as the enemy; allowing profiling; economic and financial reforms (Fed mandate, ending H-1B, flat tax, Glass-Steagall, uptick rule, tort reform); ending affirmative action; limiting welfare/unemployment; curbing NSA data collection; defending free speech, religion, press; and opposing military exercises in cities. He ends urging viewers to write their own plan.
A gay, married couple journeyed to Montreal to enjoy the services of a tantric masseur. And they REALLY enjoyed him. But did this open Pandora's box? How can they continue to have earth-shattering, mind-blowing sex when it's back to the hum-drum two of them? A caller wonders if folks who enjoy adult baby play actually... well, actually shit themselves. The answer comes from Dan's guest, Fancy of the InTheNook podcast. The show champions "nuance, kink-positive education, and unfiltered queer realness" for those into ABDL. They have a great conversation about what fuels this maligned kink. On the Magnum, Dan chats with Atlantic writer Faith Hill, who covers dating, young adulthood, family, and social connection. Her latest piece, "The Great Romance Slump" digs in to why young people are forgoing sex and dating. She and Dan discuss the changes that have left us in this dismal place. They also discuss age gap relationships and the various other "gaps" that our culture eyes with suspicion. And, what makes a sexy foot? Are some feet sexier than others? Why? Dan answers. 206-302-2064 Q@Savage.Love This episode is brought to you by Squarespace. They make it easy to build a website or blog. In the years following the American Revolution, when the country was still uncertain of itself and the frontier was still a place of violence, two brothers carved out a story of fear across the wilderness. When their story was first published in 1824, many people thought it was so terrible it simply had to be fiction, and whilst the facts may have been a little blurred, it sadly had much more truth to it than people wanted to accept. Behind the legend lay a grim and disturbing story of violence and murder and even a twinge of mystery, that is still as troubling today as it ever was.SOURCES Grandjean, Katherine (2026) Kingdom of Devils. Pick up my new book The American Nightmare! => Click Here! In Today's Episode I am sick and tired of watching men run away from their own lives, hiding behind cheap motivation and pretending to be strong when they are actually scared inside. Your anxiety is not some mystery; it is simply the natural tax you pay for every single promise you broke to yourself and every hard task you skipped when nobody was watching. Real confidence cannot be faked or borrowed, because it is a receipt for the actual work you put in and the self-trust you earned. In this Friday recap episode, we are wrapping up our entire series on the anxious man by taking everything we've learned, from building a raw self-trust code to answering the brutal, defining questions of your daily schedule and turning it into massive action. I am laying down a savage 7-day challenge to help you stop negotiating with yourself, stack undeniable proof of your reliability, and protect your family and ecosystem. If you want to stand in the calm of the storm tomorrow, you have to do the hard things today and build consistency so sickening that your fears finally go quiet. Here is what I am challenging you to execute starting today: Make three promises to yourself every single morning and keep every one with no excuses. Do the hardest thing before noon. Log it honestly as a deposit or withdrawal from your bank account of self-trust. Share a promise you kept when it was hard with someone you love. Reflect nightly on whether you truly earned your confidence today. Stop faking your strength, stand on your word, and let's go out there and lead our families well Warriors Rise! In this classic radio episode, Savage explores the question, "What is truth?" through a mix of politics, religion, immigration, personal experience, and warnings about psychedelics. He and callers discuss psychedelic drugs, including LSD, psilocybin, and MDMA, with callers describing frightening experiences, addiction, trauma, and lasting psychological consequences. Savage questions claims about the therapeutic benefits of psychedelics and challenges the overly optimistic media narratives surrounding them. Savage and callers converse on themes of reality, ego, faith, and human survival and conclude with warning that audiences should remain alert to manipulation and deception.

What is actually happening in the Middle East? Savage shares a secondhand account from a Navy father whose son returned from an aircraft carrier deployment claiming morale is at an all-time low. Some sailors are questioning the war with Iran, believing they are fighting a proxy war for Israel and blaming Israel for long deployments. Are suicide attempts being underreported? What role does propaganda play on both sides? Savage argues that unclear targets, prolonged sea time, and poor diet are impacting morale. He then reacts to the latest headlines and closes with a warning about Iran's willingness to absorb casualties and fight to the death. He concludes with a tweet a follower sent him, "The greatest trick the antizionists managed to pull is institutionalizing the idea that they're a minority fighting for freedom against an empire, and not a part of one of the largest empires in human history fighting to extinguish a tiny, unique, native civilization." Wrong Side Out: Madness Misdiagnosed by Benton Savage https://www.amazon.com/Wrong-Side-Out-Madness-Misdiagnosed-ebook/dp/B0GRPVD4NX In Wrong Side Out, Benton Savage tells a starkly honest story of living through prolonged confusion, loss of control, and the slow work of reclaiming himself. Told from the inside, the memoir captures what it feels like when judgment falters, reality bends, and everyday decisions carry unexpected consequences, often with lasting personal cost. Savage writes openly about isolation, damaged relationships, and moments when his own instincts could not be trusted, yet the book resists easy explanations or tidy redemption. Instead, it follows a long, uneven path marked by resistance, collapse, persistence, and gradual clarity. The struggle is not abstract or symbolic; it unfolds through real events, real mistakes, and the determination to keep going when forward motion feels impossible. At its core, Wrong Side Out is a story of endurance and self-reclamation, of learning to live with limits without erasing identity, and of finding steadiness after years of imbalance. It is not about labels or diagnoses, but about what it takes to regain footing, rebuild trust in oneself, and fully reengage with life on one’s own terms. About the author Benton Savage's life story is as rich and varied as his lines of writing. His time spent navigating personal changes and traversing the diverse landscapes has indelibly shaped his perspective and literary voice. Today, Benton resides in Fort Walton Beach, Florida where he balances his property management business with his true passion, writing. His daily dedication to capturing his thoughts and experiences on paper is a testament to his unwavering commitment to exploring the complexities of the human condition. His recently released poetry book, Fortune Cookies:100 Sayings to Help you Navigate Life's Challenges, a unique collection of poetic musings that mirrors the paper fortunes found in the heart of a cookie, reached number one on Amazon for new poetry in August 2024. Savage's coming-of-age novel, Free and Satisfied, explores issues with impulsivity, alcohol, and nuances of an interracial relationship, was published in April 2025.

Two conversations that connect the labor movement's past to its present — one showing what union solidarity looks like in action today and one tracing the legal history that explains why that solidarity is still so necessary. Cleveland Teachers Union President Errol Savage discusses his first day in office — the same day the district announced 310 teacher layoffs — and how he responded the only way he knew how: by organizing, showing up and fighting alongside his union brothers and sisters. More than 600 teachers and Cleveland community members showed up at a Board of Education meeting that typically drew a handful of people. The board engaged. The superintendent made different choices. Today fewer than 50 of the original 310 teachers are still not back in Cleveland classrooms in a full-time capacity, and most of those plan to return. Savage also discusses what the fight means for the broader attack on public education and how he is already supporting teachers in Fairview Park, Ohio facing their own contract battle. Then, labor lawyer and OnLabor contributor Andrew Strom traces 100 years of American labor law from the 1926 Railway Labor Act through the NLRA, Taft-Hartley, the birth of right-to-work through judicial interpretation and three Supreme Court decisions — Republic Aviation in 1945, Lechmere in 1992 and Epic Systems in 2018 — that illustrate how the same law that was once called the Magna Carta of workers' rights came to be described by the Supreme Court as a mouse hole, all without Congress changing a single word. Visit ctu279.org for more from the Cleveland Teachers Union and onlabor.org for more of Andrew Strom's writing on labor law.
The Stoic Alcoholic: It's Not Only About Counting Days by Benton Savage https://www.amazon.com/Stoic-Alcoholic-Only-About-Counting/dp/B0H1RRSBXV After thirty years of addiction, broken relationships, and self-sabotage, Benton Savage reaches a turning point. The Stoic Alcoholic is an honest and deeply reflective journey through sobriety, discipline, and personal responsibility. Savage and callers discuss near-death experiences. In this prescient interview, Savage speaks with Pat Buchanan about issues that would become increasingly important in the years that followed, including China's growing economic power, national security, foreign ownership of American assets, cybersecurity, trade deficits, manufacturing losses, immigration, and American sovereignty. Savage argued that the proposed 3Com deal involving Chinese telecommunications company Huawei should be blocked on national-security grounds, questioned Goldman Sachs' influence in Washington, and urged Americans to apply the kind of public pressure that helped stop the Dubai ports deal. They also discuss the consequences of NAFTA and America's trade deficit with Mexico, and the loss of U.S. manufacturing. They issue a warning about the border, demographic change, and immigration. They chastise the Bush-era embrace of globalization and question whether America was sacrificing its sovereignty.

Michael Savage opens with a prescient quote from Malcolm Muggeridge arguing the West is "training its own destroyers." He warns that Western civilization is nearing extinction through internal decadence and a Muslim invasion and seventh-century "throwback" Islam exemplified by Iran. He discusses the wars with Iran and Ukraine and their continuing challenges for the West. Savage illustrates how Israel is a Western "fort" in the Islamic world, raising questions about how long it can endure the never-ending conflicts with the jihadists. He explains how the rising tide of socialism, preached by New York's Marxist Mayor Mamdani and Bernie Sanders, threatens the future of the United States. He concludes by encouraging listeners to turn to the Healing Wheel Society to find hope in perilous times.

Savage uses ancient Greek coins and Oswald Spengler's The Decline of the West to frame a discussion of declining civilizations and the rise of socialism. He calls socialism a "castle in the air" that promises free goods but historically delivers failure, citing Cuba, the Soviet Union, and Mao's China. He argues socialism's appeal is fueled by abuses and self-dealing among elites in both parties, high taxation, and a broader Western "winter phase" marked by megacities, rule by money, media manipulation, cultural sterility, and impending "Caesarism." He links recent Muslim electoral wins in New York and Michigan to backlash against Israel's actions in Gaza after October 7 and criticizes Netanyahu's long rule as corrupting. He contrasts envy-driven aspiration with hate-based redistribution, urges hard work and self-reliance, and promotes his podcast archive and past work.
Savage discusses political despair and media distractions. He cites a website poll with over 20 million votes urging him to quit radio and run for president as an independent if he can raise $50 million, proposing a platform of "borders, language, culture," including militarizing borders, making English mandatory, and restricting voting. He asks callers to role-play hostile media questions and responds combatively on topics including immigration, Islam and Iran, global warming, the Bible and church-state issues. He discusses his book "Healing Children Naturally" and argues that schools are "banning boyhood."
