It's just the two of us today — catching up on life, spilling some tea, and serving up the kind of unfiltered advice that could probably get us banned from a PTA meeting. We're talking spirit guides (yes, actual ghosts), the crimes of soggy fries, and why some people need to hear “leave his ass” loud and clear.Devan shares big, emotional updates: her kids' adoption is official after a three-year journey, a trip to see her grandfather after his cancer diagnosis, and an unexpected, goosebump-inducing seance experience that connected her with family on the other side.Kelsey's life update includes buying a house, staying booked and busy with business, making intentional time for family this summer, and starting therapy. Then we dive into:A Leave His Ass segment you won't want to miss — featuring a Fort Drum spouse, a husband who filed separation papers behind her back, and our unfiltered advice on dignity, resources, and legal rights. Our brand new game: “Things That Should Be Illegal But Aren't.” From people who say “yum-yums” to public speakerphone calls, not returning shopping carts, men saying “females,” and soggy fries, we decide whether these offenders should get a pass… or go straight to jail. It's part deep, heartfelt life talk, part spicy advice, and part laugh-until-you-snort commentary — in other words, classic Two Besties with a Mic.Come hang out with us:IG: @TwoBestiesWithAMic
This week's PR Breakdown isn't about a corporate crisis or a press release gone wrong. It's about satire — and the way it forces a reaction. In the latest season of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker have turned their aim on the Trump administration, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, and the culture of punditry. It's not subtle. It's not sanitized. And it's definitely not for the thin-skinned.The second episode, “Got a Nut,” skewers both sides of the aisle while delivering a masterclass in what happens when satire hits a nerve. The White House called the show “irrelevant” — a statement that instantly proved the opposite. Noem leaned into the joke publicly, then undercut herself in interviews. And Charlie Kirk tried to be in on the humor while still nursing the sting. Here's what I cover in this episode:Why this season of South Park is landing harder than most political commentaryThe specific targets in Episode 2, and the satirical tactics behind themHow public figures misplay their responses to being parodiedWhy defensiveness is the loudest admission of relevanceThe crisis takeaway: When satire calls you out, your response matters more than the jokeSatire works because it holds up a mirror. In PR, what you do next decides whether people see the reflection as truth or just a caricature.Want More Behind the Breakdown? Nationally syndicated financial columnist and author Terry Savage joins Jon Hansen, filling in for Lisa Dent, to discuss the latest report on inflation. The market, Savage explains, reacted well the the CPI, believing that tariffs are not responsible for the increase in inflation. She then, as always, answers questions from listeners.
Michael Savage discusses the current wars threatening world peace in Gaza and Ukraine. He shares his perspective on potential resolutions to stop the loss of life and suffering. He praises President Donald Trump for his efforts to help bring an end to these conflicts. Savage draws a historical parallel with the story of Sitting Bull, the Lakota leader who surrendered due to dwindling fighters and resources, drawing a comparison to present leaders in Ukraine and Gaza. He then critiques the media and defense industry for perpetuating wars and emphasizes the need for peace.
"Not generous." That is what a gay man puts on his app profile to signify that he is not interested in sex workers. Is this offensive? Hear the heart-warming tale of how a woman spiced up her sex life by creating an Onlyfans account for only one fan- her husband. A gay man loves going to "gay island." It's a small gathering space in a river where queer folks can be together in a chill, clothing-optional way. But guess who is invading Gay Island! Straight families bring their kids to bask in the homo glow. Dan welcomes queer artist and writer Leo Herrera, to talk about the importance of gay spaces, and then they go into a deep dive about AI porn, and sex robots. There's a little on the Micro and the whole thing is on the Magnum. And, a man has been married thrice. For each wife, he reversed his previous vasectomy and then got a new one, without ever telling them that he'd done this. Should he come clean about all the vasectomies to his current wife? And seriously, what is up with this guy? Q@Savage.Love 206-302-2064 This episode is brought to you by Squarespace. They make it easy to build a website or blog. Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell and attorney Eric Bland have read the 182-page response filed Friday evening by the South Carolina Attorney General's Office in Alex Murdaugh's appellate case and it is BEYOND fiery. Prosecutors pulled no punches when deconstructing every single one of Team Murdaugh's intellectually dishonest and time-wasting arguments in pursuit of getting his murder conviction overturned. They also laid out the facts of the case — and all of the compelling evidence against Alex — in what is the clearest account of what happened in June 2021 yet. Mandy, Liz and Eric break down the best parts of the filing. Their conclusion? Anyone who STILL thinks Alex Murdaugh didn't get a fair trial needs to read every word of this response before talking. In their conversation, they talk about various aspects of color printing as it applies to both fine art and utilitarian goods like security printing for paper notes, advertisements, fashion, and household goods. They talk about the historical significance and technical details of color printing, the role of women in the field, and the socio-political influences of that era. In this podcast discussion, Gary Savage provides a comprehensive analysis of current market dynamics, focusing primarily on gold, silver, and potential economic cycles. He suggests that the stock market is potentially forming a "megaphone topping pattern" and may be approaching a cyclical bear market, with potential geopolitical tensions in Ukraine serving as a potential catalyst for market corrections. Regarding gold, Savage emphasizes a long-term bullish perspective, highlighting a 13-year cup and handle pattern that suggests significant upside potential. He believes gold could easily reach $10,000 and potentially even $15,000 during its final parabolic phase, which he anticipates occurring around 2027-2028. The extended base formation supports his optimistic outlook. For silver, Savage sees similar potential, predicting prices could reach $100, $200, and potentially $250. He recommends selling in stages during the final bubble phase, with the gold-to-silver ratio (potentially reaching 20-30 to 1) serving as a key indicator for market tops. The discussion also explores the dollar's role, with Savage believing the currency is in a secular bear market and currently experiencing a countertrend rally. He expects the dollar will make a lower high and then decline, which could support precious metals' performance. Savage warns that potential market movements could be significantly influenced by geopolitical events, particularly escalating tensions in Ukraine. He suggests the "war cycle" might last until 2027-2028 and could be a driving factor in gold's bull market. His investment strategy focuses on patience, avoiding over-trading, and strategically positioning for metals' anticipated bull run. He recommends using vehicles like leveraged ETFs and long-dated call options when identifying potential intermediate cycle lows. Ultimately, Savage remains cautiously optimistic, believing we are in the early stages of a significant metals bull market with substantial upside potential, contingent on geopolitical and economic developments.

Savage criticizes the ineffective handling of the homelessness crisis, advocating for reopening mental hospitals instead of providing housing. The discussion includes a shocking incident where bystanders filmed rather than intervened during a rape crime on a Philadelphia train, blaming the inaction on fear of legal consequences due to liberal policies and attorneys. Savage explains how liberal policies, and the erosion of traditional American values have created this modern crisis.
A woman is grappling with the dubious ethics of financial domination. Her friend asked her to do it, and she made a quick, easy $1k. But she knows that it is addictive and can ruin men's lives. Should she continue? A gay man is being bothered to distraction by his straight pal who teases and dominates him. They work together. Driven wild by lust, the caller worries that if he acknowledges the dynamic and shares his feelings, all will be lost. On the Magnum, the dog ate her vibrator. You heard that right. The dog ate her vibrator and broke it. It ran on batteries and had more settings than she needed anyway. What should she replace it with?
