Savage reacts to the attempted street beheading in Ireland and the killing of Henry Nowak in England. He warns that these crimes reflect the consequences of European immigration policies and political correctness. He recalls the Daniel Pearl beheading and his prophetic chapter "Unmasking Islamofascism," from his 2005 Bestseller "Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder." In the book, he predicted that radical Islam was a global political movement that would threaten Western Civilization. He warns that Western cultural degeneracy and demographic decline signal dire days ahead for Europe and America. Having been banned from entering the United Kingdom in 2009, Savage was "a canary in the coal mine" for the collapse of the once-great empire.

Misha Glenny and guests discuss an ancient civilisation who lived over 2000 years ago in the southwest of modern-day Libya. During prehistoric times, the Sahara Desert was greener and even had large lakes, but for the last 5000 years it has been a hyperarid environment. Extreme swings of temperature and limited surface water might make the Sahara seem like an inhospitable place to live, but an ancient people in North Africa known to us as the Garamantes thrived there. Following descriptions of the Garamantes in Roman and Greek texts, the Garamantes have often been seen as pastoral nomads, or as tribal barbarians on the periphery of the Mediterranean world. But the work of archaeologists in recent decades has revealed something different. Evidence suggests a society with flourishing towns and cities, complex underground irrigation systems, a key role in trade routes across the Sahara – and may give us a broader view of ancient history.WithDavid Mattingly Emeritus Professor of Roman Archaeology at the University of LeicesterFarès Moussa Visiting Fellow at the University of Southampton and Cultural Heritage ConsultantAndJosephine Quinn Professor of Ancient History and Fellow of St John's College, University of CambridgeProducer: Martha OwenReading list:C.M. James Cameron-Wilson found #1, the horror spoof Scary Movie shouty and exhausting, emerging despairing for humanity. The brief trailer, however, is quite funny. #13 Savage House feels like a Jacobean tragedy but is an original, supposedly a satire on our own times. Starring Richard E. Grant and Claire Foy, it's supposedly a black comedy but the tone left James depressed. It is well made, with excellent production values, but while grotesque, it is not funny. However, he does recommend Remarkably Bright Creatures on Netflix. Starring Sally Fields, who is on excellent form in her 80th year, it is a funny, touching movie set in an aquarium, with Alfred Molina voicing a wise octopus. Set in a timeless backwater full of eccentrics it has real heart and is frequently very funny. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Chase Bunker is in for Rich Jones today. FOX News's Jonathan Savage looks at the latest developments in the US/Iran conflict, as "retaliatory" missile strikes continued on both sides through the night, raising concerns of a renewal of "all-out war." "How much money you make is very important, but making sure your sons turn out and launch properly is a thousand times more important." Raising strong sons doesn't happen by accident. It happens when fathers are intentional about the values, habits, and standards they model every day. In this solo episode, the focus is on what it takes to raise boys who are disciplined, responsible, resilient, and ready for life. The message is simple: if you want strong young men, you need to invest time, energy, and leadership into them consistently. Drawing from his own experience raising two hardworking sons, Nicky shares the lessons that made the biggest impact. He talks about the importance of organized sports, roughhousing, spending quality time together, teaching practical skills, and challenging boys to rise to higher standards. Rather than trying to make life easy for them, he argues that fathers should prepare their sons for the realities of life while helping them build confidence, character, and personal responsibility. This episode is ultimately a call for fathers to lead by example. Boys learn what manhood looks like by watching the men around them. Whether it's making time for your children, teaching them life lessons, or simply showing up consistently, the example a father sets can shape a young man's future for decades to come. Also in this episode: * Organized sports and character development. * Roughhousing and father-son bonding. * Teaching practical life skills. * Leading by example as a father. * Being present for your children. The "ceasefire" in Iran seems to be in name only, as Iran was blamed for a US helicopter being shot down earlier this week, so President Trump ordered US retaliatory strikes, which lead to Iranian attacks on US bases. Trump claims that Iran has taken too long to make a peace agreement anyway, so aggressions resume. (Did they ever really stop?) In other international news, Ebola concerns are among the justifications for restricting visitor access to the US during World Cup events, which start today. Increased diagnoses in the DRC have created concerns of spread from global airports, along with prior visa restrictions.
Savage warns that we are living through a more militant form of Islam today than we have seen in over 150 years. He examines the past to expose how a sect of Islam has emerged that is intolerant and into total subjugation and conquest. What can America learn from the fall of England, France, and Belgium to radical Muslim conquest? He argues that New York City Mayor Mamdani is the tip of the spear to the Muslim Brotherhood and he should not be dismissed as a friendly, benevolent character. Savage still holds onto hope that the more peaceful coalition of Muslims will prevail, but warns that Western Europe may serve as a warning signal to the United States.

I bought and sold guns and gear through that forum locally with good success (mostly in-person meetings, not shipping). Since its closing I recently joined GAFS Hub at Nicks suggestion. What is the “standard procedure” for GAFS Hub, TAC Swap, etc? I see that some people hand write the date on a piece of paper next to the item for sale. What if the reason the world's biggest companies keep failing at AI has nothing to do with the AI itself?Siobhan Savage is the co-founder and CEO of Reejig, the Work Operating System helping the most complex organizations on earth move work to worker in the age of AI. She works with Fortune 500 companies across banking, pharmaceutical, and retail, and she is building a billion-dollar company on a single conviction:opportunity belongs to the builder, not the platform.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━HER STORYOne of twelve children. Canadian born, Irish raised, 15 years in Sydney, now in New York. She built her career in workforce strategy on multi billion dollar projects, obsessing over one question: how do you move work to the right worker and make a business run at high velocity? She never imagined agents would become a form of worker. Now that future is arriving, and the Fortune 500 calls her to make sense of it.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━WHAT THIS EPISODE EXPOSESIn this episode of Truth Works, Jessica Neal and co-host Jeff Markowitz sit down with Siobhan to reveal what is really happening inside enterprise AI.Most large companies have turned AI into transformation theatre: 12 month programs, enormous consulting bills, prompt training that changes nothing, and tools that get switched on then quietly switched off when the ROI never shows up.The problem is not the technology. It is that almost no one has actually looked at how the work runs.Reejig spent $40 million mapping how work actually works, building a view of tasks, subtasks, and skills before large language models were even real. That map is why Siobhan can walk into a company and understand 80% of its work without touching a single system. She also draws a hard line on responsibility. Being Bold AND Responsible is not a slogan for her, and she refuses to design a world where two iPads interview each other in a boardroom. Then it gets personal: raising "baby builders," the mom guilt of 16 hour days, and the human skills she believes will matter most in the careers of the future.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━TOPICS COVEREDTHE BACKSTORY→ One of twelve children, Canadian born, Irish raised, 15 years in Sydney→ Starting out in workforce strategy and the obsession with moving work to worker→ Recruiting as the ultimate training ground for resilience and connectionTHE ENTERPRISE AI REALITY→ The real reason enterprise AI is failing, and why it is not the AI→ Transformation theatre: long programs, consulting bills, prompt training that changes nothing→ Why tools get switched on then switched off when the ROI never appears→ Making invisible work visible without plugging into emails or calendars→ How Reejig spent $40 million mapping work before large language models were real→ Understanding 80% of a company's work without touching a single systemVALUE OVER COST→ The shift from cutting cost to unlocking value and growing margin→ How an invoice that took five hours can be reduced to 45 minutes→ Why your job is made of tasks, and how AI quietly removes parts of them→ Emerging and declining skills, and the danger of "jobs of the future" courses→ Stealth change management and the iPhone upgrade approach to adoptionTHE BIGGER QUESTIONS→ What it means to be Bold AND Responsible when jobs are on the line→ The leaders harvesting people out of jobs while paying consultants millions→ How the CHRO role is about to fundamentally change→ Managing a workforce of both humans and agents→ The handcrafted human experience making a comeback, even at AI companiesTHE PERSONAL SIDE→ Raising "baby builders" and teaching kids to use AI early→ Why human to human skills become more valuable, not less→ Mom guilt, 16 hour days, and choosing to build→ Why opportunity belongs to the builder, Jane in accounts, not just the PhDs━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━This is a conversation for anyone trying to understand what work becomes next, whether you lead a Fortune 500 company or you are figuring out your own place in the AI era.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Guest: Siobhan Savage, co-founder and CEO of ReejigHosts: Jessica Neal and Jeff Markowitz

Michael Savage takes aim at California's slow vote-counting process, arguing that the state's weeks-long election tabulation has become a symbol of deeper political dysfunction. Comparing California to places like Florida, Germany, India, and Argentina, Savage questions why one of America's largest and most technologically advanced states takes so long to produce final results. He also reflects on his appearance on Gavin Newsom's podcast, where he says he pressed the governor directly on the issue and received what he describes as a vague "word salad" response. From there, Savage broadens the argument into a larger critique of California's political leadership, taxes, population loss, and the exodus of residents and wealth to states like Florida, Texas, and Nevada.

Bryce M. Towsley joins John McAdams for a comprehensive look at the Savage Model 99 rifle. From its origins with Arthur Savage and the early 1899/99 models to its innovative internal hammer, rotary magazine with cartridge counter, and ability to handle modern smokeless cartridges with pointed bullets, we cover what made this lever action truly different from the Winchesters and Marlins of its era. Bryce shares his personal experiences hunting with the 300 Savage, the evolution of cartridges available in the Model 99 (303 Savage, 22 Savage Hi-Power, 250 Savage, 300 Savage, 308 Winchester, 358 Winchester, 284 Winchester, and more), why the rifle was so popular in the northeast big woods, realisticaccuracy expectations, and the reasons Model 99 production eventually ended. Savage speaks with Shannon Davis, CEO of American Alternative Assets, about retirement savings trapped inside a collapsing debt system. June 3, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 145 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing Pittsburgh Steelers finally signing free agent S Darnell Savage to a one-year contract on Tuesday. We also discuss the player waived to make room for Savage on the roster. The Steelers had five players in for tryouts on Tuesday, so Alex and I go over that list players, which is headlined by TE Robert Tonyan and ILB Jamin Davis. The Cleveland Browns traded away DE Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, so Alex and I both chime in on what that deal included and now means for both teams as well as the Steelers. Alex and I then talk a little bit more about the Steelers' decision to sign OLB Nick Herbig to a four-year, $100 million contract extension on Tuesday. We discuss how the onus is now on the Steelers to find a way to get Herbig on the field more in 2026 and even it is part of a three outside linebacker package that also includes T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith. With the Herbig extension now completed, Alex and I address the plausibility and probability of the Steelers trading away one of Watt or Highsmith. We discuss the possible highest draft pick compensation for either player as part of any type of trade and if either of us would consider such a deal. The Steelers now seem poised to sign CB Joey Porter Jr. to a contract extension on the heels of Herbig getting done, so Alex and I speculate what a new deal might ultimately look like for him. We also discuss the possibility of Porter receiving fully guaranteed money beyond 2026 should he indeed wind up signing a contract extension this offseason. This 87-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above, and we make sure to answer a few listener emails we have received to close out this show. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Host Malcolm Harris rides "solo dolo" for a jam-packed Wednesday edition of What the Truck, touted as the fastest 45 minutes in freight. The episode covers breaking logistics headlines and features two insightful interviews focused on the future of freight technology, automation, and the operational realities of electric trucking.• Global X Airlines Dispute: A look into an unusual internal battle where the airline has accused a shareholder of actively working against its growing cargo operations.• CDL Updates in Texas and Ohio:Texas has resumed issuing non-domiciled Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs) to temporary H-2A agricultural farmworkers following federal approval.Ohio is reviewing roughly 5,000 nonresidential CDLs to ensure compliance with strict new federal standards and verification practices. Travis Rhyan joins Malcolm in-studio to share lessons from his extensive background in FreightTech and discuss why he left his executive role at MyCarrier to build Carrier1 from scratch. Travis explains that carriers have historically been underserved by technology, noting that a shocking percentage still rely on outdated legacy systems (like IBM mainframes from 1995) or no TMS at all. His mission is to bring automation to carriers to ultimately eliminate the chaotic web of emails and phone calls for brokers. Joining the show from Berlin, Germany, Manhattan-native Graham Major-Ex explains how Sennder has become a top-five full-truckload freight forwarder in Europe (generating $1 billion in revenue) through strategic acquisitions like Uber Freight Europe and C.H. Savage argues that the unrest outside ICE facilities should not be treated as legitimate protest, but as riots and insurrection. He traces American protest movements from the Boston Tea Party to civil rights, Vietnam, Occupy Wall Street, Black Lives Matter, and modern anti-Trump demonstrations, contrasting lawful dissent with what he sees as organized intimidation and political agitation. Savage calls for the arrest and deportation of non-citizens involved, warns that birthright citizenship and activist legal groups are weakening the country, and frames the moment as a test of whether America will remain a nation of laws.
A woman who really wants a long term partner has gotten a "tantric opportunity" she may not be able to refuse. Hours and hours of hot sex? But the dude isn't boyfriend material. Should take this once in a lifetime opportunity anyway? A woman's friend only dates women much younger than himself. He insists he's being respectful and mindful of power imbalance. But it still gives her the creeps- should it? On the Magnum, a man asks if hypnotism as a means to control someone sexually is a bunch of nonsense. Dan brings on science journalist Sadie Dingfelder to look into the matter. And, a man dated a woman, broke up, came out, and remains very good friends with his ex. She feels like his platonic but important partner. He had a boyfriend for a while, but the guy was a bit of a dullard and couldn't hold a candle intellectually to his female bestie. I have a friend named Bobby Castro. One of his favorite phrases is "Stack'em and Rack'em Savages." And what that means is when you land one win, keep going for the next one. Stack them bitches up. For most people, they'll get a win and coast. When I worked at the car dealership, no one would help the people walking in. Instead, they'd be calling their leads or be conveniently at the copier. They completely ignored the low-hanging fruit. When I worked at the mortgage company, I worked the CRM, called, the leads, sent emails, and in a very short order of time, I was top producer. And it's all because when I got one win, I'd stack another. But you have to leverage the tools you have at your disposal every single day, win after win. Stack'em and rack'em savages. From the Cold War bomber gap to the Iraq WMD fraud to Golden Dome, America's permanent war economy has spent 80 years converting real geopolitical conflicts into manufactured existential threats — and turning fear into profit. The Iran war follows the same playbook: no confirmed nuclear weapon, no IAEA finding of a bomb program, no U.S. intelligence assessment authorizing one — but billions in new contracts, spiking defense stocks, and a president whose portfolio was moving through Palantir, Nvidia, and Broadcom while praising their “war-fighting capabilities.”This isn't about Iran's human rights or a nuclear threat. It's about contractors, client states, oil markets, and an imperial order that needs permanent danger to survive.Jay says we must take up the recommendations of the 1934 Senate Nye Committee: take profit out of war.
Today we are speaking with the founder of the first all female competition the Nashville fit show and the natural titans as well as a posing and prep coach, speaker, author, wife, and mother. She is a bikini Olympian with an incredible story triumphing over abuse after an ex attempted to run her over with his car and being told she wouldn't be able to continue bodybuilding to persisting, becoming a pro, and beating the odds. She also hosts awesome retreats with her style, as well as workshops and events and has some really cool experiences she is offering to the industry that have never been done before. Here to talk about all of that and more I Welcome to the show Whitney wiser savage how are you doing?! Whitney's Personal Journey Whitney discussed surviving an abusive relationship and a devastating car accident that resulted in spinal injuries requiring emergency surgery and spinal fusion. Despite being told that returning to competition was unlikely, Whitney remained determined and eventually returned to the stage, earning an IFBB Pro card at the 2014 USA Championships and later qualifying for the Olympia. Whitney emphasized that setbacks and repeated near-misses ultimately provided valuable lessons that now help inform coaching and mentoring. Building the Nashville Fit Show Whitney explained how the idea for the first all-women's bodybuilding competition came from a vision to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment for female athletes. Support from the fitness community helped bring the concept to life, while event promotion also required navigating financial and operational challenges. Whitney highlighted the strong sense of community built through NPC Tennessee over many years of promoting events. The Fit Show Story Project Whitney shared details about the Fit Show Story Project, launched in 2020 to empower women through storytelling. Participants submit stories about overcoming adversity, finalists create video submissions, and a winner is selected based on impact and personal connection. The initiative continues to grow, with selected stories featured on the Nashville Fit Show website and plans for a special guest presenter at this year's award ceremony. Upcoming Events Fit Show Forum Workshop — June 27, 2026 The educational workshop is designed to help competitors prepare for the stage and will cover: Hair and makeup preparation Tanning guidance Judging criteria education Hands-on judging practice using scorecards Confidence-building support Mental health and post-show transition discussions Celeste is scheduled to speak on mental health, and additional experts, including a hypnotherapist, will contribute educational sessions. Nashville Fit Show Post-Show Brunch — August 16, 2026 A new post-show brunch will take place the day after the Nashville Fit Show and will focus on education and community. Topics include: Understanding judges' feedback Mental health discussions Nutrition guidance Networking opportunities Registration is expected to open June 1, 2026, with limited attendance available. Coaching, Posing, and Judging Insights Whitney discussed how posing standards and techniques have evolved over time, especially with the introduction of the Fit Model division. While more information is available than ever before, Whitney noted that not all guidance is accurate, making quality coaching and a solid understanding of official judging criteria increasingly important. Experience as a judge has also shaped the advice provided to athletes regarding posing and stage presentation. Motherhood and Work-Life Balance Whitney reflected on balancing entrepreneurship, fitness, and motherhood. Early years of parenting brought challenges that required adjusting fitness goals and expectations. Whitney emphasized the importance of self-compassion during those periods. Today, responsibilities are managed through long-term planning, prioritization, and maintaining focus on both family and business growth. Key Takeaways Resilience through adversity Learning from setbacks rather than fearing them Building supportive communities for women in fitness Using personal stories to inspire others Viewing every competition as a learning experience Prioritizing education, preparation, and long-term growth over short-term outcomes The overall message was that success comes from persistence, faith, continuous learning, and the willingness to keep moving forward despite obstacles. Savage evaluates President Trump's record through a self-styled "Trump scorecard," grading key campaign promises, successes, or unfinished business. He offers concern about the war with Iran, the growing national debt, the failure to abolish the IRS, unresolved conflicts in Ukraine, unreleased Epstein and JFK files, the lack of a Fort Knox audit, and what he sees as a failure to hold officials accountable for past scandals. At the same time, he credits Trump with creating DOGE, exposing an estimated $300 billion in government waste, and securing the border without additional spending.
