The Rams (8-2) are set to take on the Buccaneers (6-4) at SoFi Stadium on Sunday Night. Baker Mayfield officially returns to the field that essentially revived his career, while Matthew Stafford is set to continue his MVP campaign. Todd Bowles' defense is tough: they'll likely replicate a lot of the same pressure concepts that Seattle drew up. But, Tampa is banged up and hasn't played their best football over the last 5 weeks. Bucky Irving is back, so reinforcements are coming. Regardless, the Rams are 6.5pt favorites and should be able to handle business on Sunday night. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. This week on Ron's Amazing Stories, we take you back into the shadowy world of Suspense — one of radio's greatest achievements and the last show to fade out at the end of the Golden Age. Our theme this time is time and perception, and we've got two unforgettable stories that explore both. Our first tale is Time On My Hands, a husband and wife set out to do the impossible — go back in time to stop Adolf Hitler. Can history be rewritten, or is time itself the one enemy no man can defeat? Then, we'll step into A World of Darkness (January 20, 1944). Told through the eyes — or rather, the ears — of a blind man, this gripping mystery reveals how sound can paint pictures far more vivid than sight ever could. Between these stories, we'll pause for a brief look at the history of Suspense, the show that kept listeners on edge for over two decades and closed the curtain on radio's golden era. Featured Stories: Suspense – "Time On My Hands" (9/25/1960) Suspense – "A World Of Darkness" (1/20/1944) Also in this episode: A short history of Suspense The real science behind how the blind "see" without sight Ron's thoughts on the impossibility of changing time A special Thanksgiving episode teaser — send in your ideas! November 10, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 48 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 10 Sunday night road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday night inactive list, the few injuries sustained by the Steelers in their 25-10 loss to the Chargers, and the few transactions the team has made since our Friday show. The Steelers played very poorly on offense against the Chargers and QB Aaron Rodgers had a big hand in that. We discuss the offensive woes the Steelers had against the Chargers and that includes the unit's ineffectiveness on third downs and the inability to produce explosive plays. We discuss a few huge misses that Rodgers had down the field and the running game only had just a few bright spots on Sunday night. The two interceptions are discussed in addition to the failed fourth and goal play. Overall, we struggle to produce very many positive things to say about Pittsburgh's offensive effort on Sunday night other than to conclude it was very offensive to watch. While the Steelers' defensive play wasnt awful against the Chargers, the unit still failed to register any takeaways to go along with their five sacks of QB Justin Herbert. We discuss the good, bad, and the ugly when it comes to the Sunday night play of that side of the football. We discuss the quick snap to throw time of Herbert. The few big plays the Chargers offense registered, and much more. The Steelers weren't great when it came to special teams play on Sunday night, so we go over that phase of the game from the Sunday night loss as well. Should the Steelers be heavy favorites in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals? Is this more than just a middling 2025 Steelers team we are all watching? Are at least five more wins this season for the Steelers a lock? We discuss those several questions later on in this show. Will we soon see WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling get playing time on offense? Should such a thing happen in the coming weeks? Alex and I address those few questions late in this show as well. This 88-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Matt Jones and Drew Franklin begin Week 10 with a look at the NFL heading to Berlin for Falcons/Colts. The Jets were sellers at the trade deadline picking up a few first round picks. The Cowboys and Colts are making it clear that they're looking for success this season. What other trades caught your attention on Tuesday? The Cardinals are sticking with Jacoby Brissett at QB, but what does that mean for Kyler Murray's future in Arizona? The Seahawks tried a new kickoff strategy, will it catch on? Looking at the AFC and NFC odds, which team are the favorites? Jayden Daniels, Tucker Kraft, and Joe Alt injuries will have impact on the rest of the season. Onto Week 10, Matt and Drew pick their 3 favorite games of the week. The Rams and 49ers is a marquee game in Sunday's late window. Steelers/Chargers on Sunday Night could be a showcase for Aaron Rodgers. Can the Packers rebound at home while facing the Eagles? We wrap up with Survivor and TD Parlay picks!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Nov. 6 – Ep. 79: For this episode of The Depot Dive, Ross McCorkle and Joe Clark start off the episode recapping the Steelers' big win over the Colts. How did the defense stop their skid against the league's best offense, and what changes can they learn from moving forward? We discuss all of that and more. Next we talk about the Steelers' inaction at the trade deadline and why that may have made the most sense given the inflated trade market. Pittsburgh also has an opportunity to keep adding to their roster with CB Asante Samuel Jr. We dive into how important another addition to the secondary is given the thin depth chart. Next, we preview Sunday Night's game against the Chargers, the injury report for both teams, and some matchups to watch. Thank you for joining us for this 38-minute episode, and we hope to see your thoughts in the comment section.
