As we take a look at what devil really means, we begin to understand that it represents something that leads us astray. Moving beyond the externalized interpretations of the Devil, we see that can internalize the idea in a way that empowers us.
As we take a look at the origins and original meaning of the word “demon”, we also examine the meaning of the term “cast-out”. By understanding them together, we can better understand the work Jesus was doing as he freed people from their demons. We can also better understand how the light of Christ helps us to cast out our own demons.
