Asking all the important questions like, should mayonnaise be in a jar? But also covering important subjects including; Mental Health, Relationships and Life in general.
Is It Really Worth Talking About?
After our catch-up, we decide to look at a theory that is used in Counselling sometimes known as The Drama Triangle. This looks at dysfunctional social interactions and illustrates a power game that involves three roles....three roles that we can all fall in to easily sometimes. Having an awareness of these roles and our part in them helps us hopefully create better outcomes. We hope you enjoy this episode.
WE MADE IT TO ONE YEAR!! We are so happy to have made it this far and with this episode we talk about our last year and what we hope for the year ahead. As always, we chat seriously with the odd bit of nonsense and laughter thrown in for good measure.Thank you to those who have listened and continue to listen. Hopefully, we can continue to grow, so don't be afraid to pass on our episodes.Enjoy.
This was actually our second ever recorded episode, but for some reason, Lee thought it wasn't worth publishing. However, now more than ever, as the world has been in crisis for two years......plus a potential war, it's so important to have the right people around us. Throw in some ghost stories and other silly bits and you have a lovely episode.Enjoy!!
Here we start off by talking about things we miss from Childhood - such as 'no responsibilities' or 'playing Curby' and then move on to what we feel could've been taught more of in schools in order to prepare us more for life. As always, some serious and some silly stories accompany our thoughts.
As it's the start of another year, we look at 'Dieting' and how two-thirds of people have some sort of 'relationship' with some sort of 'diet'. This is quite a deep one as we share just how we feel about our bodies and why diets have been apart of our world for quite some time.
As it's January, we thought we'd talk about the thing that we all need, but often steer away from.......goals! Here, we talk about what we like and don't like about goals and what we often do to help and not help ourselves. Basically, we're messy when it comes to goals.......but aren't we all?!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and we want to talk about it!! Here we talk about what Christmas means to us, what our Christmases normally look like and used to look like, plus the stresses of the holidays.Plus, the girls tell some quite rude jokes at the beginning, which made Lee's day!Enjoy.
Let's talk about friendships, baby! We, as three close friends, wanted to create a podcast that shows this friendship. Hopefully, we've done that so far, but here we discuss what friendship means to us and how those have helped shape us.Hear our thoughts, plus some dramatic readings (comedic) in this latest episode.Enjoy!
Here, we concentrate more on Men - especially when it comes to Mental Health and expectations. Lee gives his two pennies worth of being a man in today's society and the girls give their view of men to top it up.This, plus some BIG announcements make up another episode with some silly, funny and serious chat.
In this episode, we talk about what it is to be 'content' (for us!) and whether 'content' means continuing to grow or settling. There may be a few jokes in there about what you can say in hospital as well as the bedroom :-).Enjoy!
Our second guest star, Sarah massively challenges her insecurities just by joining us for this episode. All of us really open up about the struggles we have and as always, there are many silly moments with laughs-a-plenty!Enjoy!
Talking all things family and relationships and whether 'love' is enough to keep relationships going.
Well, Marlie finally gets her hands on this episode and we talk all things porn....ranging from our relationship with it (or lack of) and how we feel porn has had an effect on the masses.
Looking at some of the more harmful ways we choose to cope with life when it decides to be a pain in the rear! I'm sure most of us can relate to a few of the topics discussed. As always, we do talk about food too :-) - especially a really strange and surprising sandwich that Ria likes to eat (cue vomit!).Enjoy!
With this episode, we give our take on and personal experiences of a very common topic and feeling, Anxiety. Others around us also had their say, but here we talk about what Anxiety is to us, the effects it has on us and how we try to manage it.Hope you enjoy.
A really interesting episode with our first guest appearance, 'King of Bants', Luke Sheps talking all things 'Banter' with us.When does banter become personal and where does the responsibility lie to keep it 'bants'? We also talk about the going to gym and making idiots of ourselves, plus questioning when you may have had a smelly accident in the car.
Talking all things Periods.....and the girls brilliantly don't hold back! We do have a sing-song and dance in the first 10 mins before moving on to the 'serious' stuff. Enjoy!
This time we take 'getting to know us' more seriously - asking questions such as; What are we afraid of? or What is our philosophy on life? Plus a bit about peeling skin, popping spots and bike rides (not all at the same time). Enjoy!
Talking all things work stress and how that can impact us and what we try to do to manage them. Yet we start with our 'first kisses' - inc Marlie's one with a 'predator'.
Talking Greggs (again!) and bad hair cuts that still make you say 'Yeh, that's good thanks'. Plus, the main topic of Assumptions made when it comes to Mental Health - like 'Depression is a weakness'.
Welcome back! In this episode we discuss our jabs (or lack of), food (again!), Memes and then the big topic of Assumptions. Please remember to click 'Follow' and to encourage others to give us a listen, but for now.....enjoy!
Although most episodes will be talking through some serious topics, this one is just a bit of a random 'get to know us' episode. Enjoy!
