Ministryně financí Alena Schillerová představila na Národním ekonomickém fóru, které uspořádala organizace spojená s hnutím ANO, svůj ekonomický program. Za hlavní nástroj ekonomické politiky označila boj s šedou ekonomikou a chytré investice, získané dalším zadlužováním. Slovo dluh bylo však na Národním ekonomickém fóru považováno za sprosté. Profesor Švejnar, který ministryni financí v prvním bloku přizvukoval, navrhoval zásadně mluvit o kreditu. „Celý svět jede na kredit,“ prohlásil a jako příklad uvedl Německo po druhé světové válce.Ministryně Schillerová přišla s tvrzením, které zřejmě špatně opsala od ekonoma Havránka. Znělo, že zavedení elektronické evidence tržeb (EET) znamenalo zvýšení hrubého domácího produktu o 2–3 procenta. Následné zrušení prý znamenalo snížení o stejné procento. Když po tomto prohlášení neodešli ctihodní ekonomové ze sálu a naopak Schillerové po projevu zatleskali, je svědectvím toho, že na úrovni vlády se etabluje meme ekonomika.Ve druhé části svého projevu Schillerová zaútočila na vedení České národní banky, že nesnižuje úrokové sazby. Navzdory tomu, že v čele je Aleš Michl, bývalý poradce a nominant Andreje Babiše. Důvod je prostý. Michl a zbylých šest členů bankovní rady se obávají, že meme ekonomika této vlády způsobí opět inflační kolo.
