I always thought my life was no different from a drama series. Many times I recount the stories to others and myself, it always brings a smile on their faces, even I laugh at it too. I'm hoping to continue the trend.
A poem to express how some of us feel during break up. This one is from the poetry collection 'The ups and downs of being Sapphie', enjoy!
Been writing this for a while, so I just felt like sharing. It is a story about the daily lives at a luxurious hotel. It's full of drama, comedy and romance, enjoy this excerpt and give me your feedback!
This is a short counsel to all my creative people out there who get anxious from time to time, when they have to share with others. Sometimes the task may seem daunting, but here a few tips to make the process a little smoother.
Here I walk on the road less travelled... because I just believe in fairness. Humans are just humans but what brings wars is everybody wants to win and be on top. Everybody wants support but nobody wants to be the support, people think that being a support is the same thing as being a second class citizen, but every building needs a good foundation to stay erect. I think we need to step back and look at the importance of our role in society and ask ourselves is the superficial more important than our integrity. Is this what we really want?
Life is about practicality, contrary to popular belief. People might make it seem like comfort is based on perception but the reality is that if something is right and comfortable, then it will not cause pain period. You will experience pain alongside it, it might even be a part of it, but never the root cause. Think about it
This about a journey of love from being a teenager to an adult. Enjoy!
Life is a series of stages. Pain is apart of the process and so is the healing, but only we can control how well we heal.
Do we take time for granted? Of course we do. We think a second is inconsequential but what if I tell you that your moments are like a steering wheel to this vehicle called life?
Welcome to our exciting poetry corner! I've been meaning to do this for a while and finally worked up the nerve to start sharing these vocally. I hope you like!
Be realistic and have boundaries. These are the basis of any relationship intimate or otherwise.
When we're looking for a good relationship, sometimes we make the mistake of putting a false persona thinking we're putting our best foot forward when in reality we are setting up ourselves for failure. This is to point out that there is no reason to hide who you are, because you are just enough for the right person.
It's hard to think about the way we perceive ourselves and society these days. Sometimes we don't even realize that we are doing it or the negative effects it has on others and ourselves.
