Easter Sunday just came and went. It got me thinking about shoes. We always got a new pair for Easter. We only got two pairs of new Sunday shoes per year – one for Easter and one for fall. I grew up in the Leave it to Beaver years. It was during the time that families were frugal. It was before the inflation years and the years of conspicuous consumption. We had to make do with what we had. Our Easter shoes were usually patent leather – either black and shiny or white. Mama was always particular about our shoes....Article Link

Have I read this before?! This month is all about retelling's and where better to start than a plus-size, reality tv show, Cinderella retelling, obviously!
No, we're not redoing an episode. This is a completely different movie. And it's leads are high profile, but we're betting you've never seen it. This week, we're unveiling Javito's Mount Rushmore of Hate—because some people will always deserve a permanent spot! We also get into a deep dive about a mutual acquaintance (that y'all probably don't know). From politics as usual (aka the never-ending cycle of nonsense) to the importance of knowing your surroundings, we break down how staying aware can save you from embarrassment—or worse. And of course, we analyze the NPC voter—the folks approaching elections like they're blindly following a script. All that and more in this week's episode. If the shoe fits… well, you know what to do!
Stepping up your style games this week on Wisdom from the Wardrobe, we flipped the script—literally! Bec spun her usual “In the News” segment on its head, delivering fresh Bec-omendations and a new bit called “That's News to Me.” The standout? Head spas. Yes, you read that right. It's a thing, it's luxurious, and now we all want one. Then, we took a step in the right direction with our main style topic: What shoes actually go with your outfit? From pairing the perfect heels or boots with a satin skirt for effortless elegance to choosing the right footwear for wide-leg jeans or even those tricky flares, we covered the sole essentials. Plus, we touched on the Wrong Shoe Theory—because sometimes, breaking the rules is the best fashion move. So much to discuss, so little time! We'll be back next time with even more shoe-and-silhouette matchups. Until then, walk this way for a style-packed episode!
Here we go again. Another 0-2 week filled with many of the same tropes that have plagued this Penn State time and time again these past 6 weeks. We break down the heartbreak, seek out a historical comparison, and go over what has to be done for this team to even make the Big Ten Tournament. It was quite a Saturday in The Shoe. Ohio State walloped Western Michigan, 56-0, with a who's who of Ohio recruits in attendance. There was even a prime out-of-state target or two to focus on. Jesus wraps up the main portion of the Sermon on the Mount with perhaps one of His most famous one-liners: The Golden Rule. It is so simple anyone can do it, and yet so hard, no one can do it without God's help. What if we started to put ourselves in other's shoes and treat them the way we wish they'd treat us? How would that change our relationships, our communities, and even the world?

On this episode of The UFFDA! Podcast we're talking about feet and how to better take care of feet, starting with shoes.
