Killing For Fun is a podcast about morality in movies. Each episode we watch a movie and discuss the values that movie assumes in order to justify its heroes.
This week, Harlowe, AJ, Liam, and Sonny are looking at the film "Red Riding: 1974" (2009). First in a trilogy, it's a bit weird we're only watching the first one but it's the only one with Bean Death, so ... shrug? Please enjoy our discussion of the most thoroughly ACAB movie we've covered on this show yet. (editor's note: I have since watched the entire trilogy: worth it! -H)
Another bonusode this week! A few good bits and bobs that didn't make it into Goldeneye. We talk about the royals, the trouble with long-running series-es, and other places where Sean Bean could fit. Featuring the accordion stylings of Harlowe on a clumsy approximation of the Bond theme.
In Season 2, we are looking at the many films which feature the death of Sean Bean, and trying to extract some meaning from some just awful narratives. Speaking of which, join us for Goldeneye, which we all remembered as being a hell of a lot more fun than it actually was.
Next full episode is not finished, so this week's ep is just a wee snack while you wait for the pure Gold(eneye). Wonder why we were on about Sinestro at the start of Episode 2? Well, wonder no more, I guess; plus, we rag on Besson (poor guy).
