Trying to manage your time and productivity can be exhausting. If you've been struggling with how to prioritize tasks or fine-tune your schedule and feel like you're on a constant hamster wheel, you are not alone. Nearly everyone I know struggles with this, whether you're an entrepreneur or not. If you missed last week's episode, I shared why I don't believe in hustle and how to work from a place of rest, alignment, and abundance. Listen to part one of this series here.   Work with your energy rather than against it. Here's the thing: unless you learn to manage your energy, you will unknowingly undercut your productivity and progress every. single. time. It's not just about the physical work and time management tips and techniques, but about the energy alignment. Ready to do less and achieve more with these time management tips and productivity tools? What you'll learn in this episode: Why the quality of your work matters over quantity. How to manage your energy. Unless you learn to manage energy, you will unknowingly undercut your productivity. Why working with intention is essential. How to manage your energy with productivity tools. Unless you learn how to do this, you will unknowingly undercut your productivity.  Why you should get yourself a good paper planner, plus some tips on how to utilize it (including what to track, what NOT to track, and more). Some of my tried-and-true tips for maintaining work/life balance. The assessment tests I recommend to help you tune into your innate gifts and find what works for your specific personality.   Subscribe and Review Thanks so much for joining me this week. 077 REPLAY: Part 1, Why I Don't Believe in Hustle

Success with Soul

There is so much talk these days about hustle. Everyone's got a ‘side hustle'. We hear so many messages about hustling: it's what the successful people do. If you want to be successful, they say, you gotta work harder than everyone else and at the expense of everything else. Sacrifice, long hours and hard work are the only ways to achieve success…so they say. But the truth is: I don't believe in hustle.    They say you teach what you need to learn yourself.  I've struggled with the belief that I need to prove myself, achieve and constantly be “doing” in order to be worthy and loved. But the truth is, we are all inherently worthy regardless of our success. We all are born with value no matter what we do or don't do. Hustle perpetuates the belief that we have to prove ourselves, which is simply not true.  Over the next two weeks, I will be sharing why hustle isn't the answer and what I believe instead. And y'all, I am speaking as much to myself as I am to you. I don't have it all figured out. But I have learned a few things along the way, and today I'm sharing all those lessons with you.   What you'll learn in this episode: Why I think the hustle mentality is doing a disservice to you and your business. Work smarter, not harder:  A sustainable biz requires self-care, play, creativity, restorative rest, purposeful actions, setting intentions, and goals. How to get into alignment and gain clarity, plus some questions to support your planning + success. How to tap into both the masculine (hustle) and feminine (flow) energies in cycles and seasons.   Subscribe and Review Thanks so much for joining me this week. With a big date against the Akron Zips looming on Saturday night, Gene and Josh discuss the fact that Ohio State's biggest opponent this weekend is themselves. They also discuss about how much, if at all, C.J. Stroud should play this weekend given the fact that he and the coaches are openly talking about his shoulder injury, and they need to have backups prepared to play if an emergency arrives. Also, Ryan Day said the right things in his press conference on Tuesday, but the Holy Land boys think that whether or not the coaching staff can come together around a single defensive game plan will determine whether or not they are able to make the needed adjustments to turn the season around. They also preview the 0-3 Akron Zips who aren't very good, but have a roster full of really great names. Let's get into it!   What you'll learn in this episode:   What I recommend you do BEFORE you launch your digital course to the public The biggest mistake people (including myself!) make when it comes to hosting webinars Whether or not to offer payment plans and how to price your course The fatal mistake I made that put my company in debt for the first time ever When and how to bring in affiliates for your course How I turned a failed, in the red launch into a profitable six-figure launch only THREE months later! If you want to create an online course, this series is for you.    While there are many passive income opportunities in 2021, today we're talking all about how to generate regular, recurring income through the revenue stream of online courses.   But the thing is, just because you build it, does not mean it will be an instant success. It's just not that simple.   Today, we're diving into the strategies that will help you not only create an online course, but how to actually make consistent, scaleable passive income from it!   The strategy we're talking about today is called evergreen, meaning your course is always available for purchase, 365 days a year.   But here's the catch: there's almost no information about the actual course on the website anywhere. Huh?   Listen to today's episode to learn how this works!  My guest today, Jacques Hopkins, worked as an engineer for eight years before quitting his job and turning his biggest hobby into a highly successful online piano course. PianoIn21Days.com has brought in over $1.7 Million in revenue to date, with over 5,000 students all over the world. Today, Jacques supports his family with the passive income from his course, while teaching others to do the same at TheOnlineCourseGuy.com and The Online Course Show podcast.   What you'll learn in this episode:   How to convey the value of what you sell (especially if you're not teaching business or money-making strategies) How to get past Imposter Syndrome and the idea that you're not enough of an expert to teach something online The difference between just evergreen and an evergreen funnel The most important thing you need in order for your funnel to actually convert How to troubleshoot your funnel when it's “not working” What to do with the people on your email list if they don't buy, and how to launch to them again   Subscribe and Review   Thanks so much for joining me this week.
