When it comes to language learning listening to authentic content from native speakers can't be overemphasised enough! It's extremely important to get some content in through listening and this could be particularly difficult for beginners but what if there was finally a 'magic formula'? In this episode, I talked about to build the habit of active listening as a beginner and how powerful it could be in the long run! This episode was inspired by Olly Richard's podcast the I Will Teach You A Language Podcast, Link below: https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9pd2lsbHRlYWNoeW91YWxhbmd1YWdlLmxpYnN5bi5jb20vcnNz&episode=YmM1MDUzYWZhNWZhMzNhMGEzYzg5ZDkwMGFjYzg4ZGU My Instagram: @realfrench_ --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/linguopodcasts/message

Duolingo is the world's leading education app with over 300 million downloads worldwide! Duolingo provides an environment where you can easily and comfortably learn languages and it is definitely my favourite language learning app. Although I see a lot of people that have the app downloaded but are using it poorly, "using Duolingo" will be in two parts. This episode focused on getting the most out of Duolingo features such as "stories" and Duolingo podcasts available in French and Spanish. I also talked about making use of your mornings and your "dead time".
