Get More at LVwithLOVE.com! Become a partner or contact us We were lucky to catch up with Bethlehem native Daniel Roebuck while he's back in town for the premiere of The Hail Mary. Written, directed by, and starring Roebuck, the film tells the story of a reluctant man pulled into coaching an all-boys Catholic football team and finding redemption along the way. For Lehigh Valley audiences, this one hits especially close to home. Scenes were filmed at Bethlehem Catholic High School, the Mary Immaculate Seminary in Northampton, and at the Bethlehem Area School District stadium, where game sequences were shot over eight nights, sometimes as late as 2 and 3 a.m. Real Bethlehem Catholic players, Liberty and Freedom band members, and local residents filled the stands. This weekend, you can see The Hail Mary at SteelStacks, The Roxy Theatre, and other regional theaters. There is also a special event at Hotel Bethlehem following a screening, including dinner and a behind-the-scenes conversation with Roebuck and the team. If you are from the Lehigh Valley, you will recognize faces, locations, and that unmistakable local energy on screen. The labor movement is shifting from a defensive crouch to a bold offensive strategy. On today's episode of the America's Work Force Union Podcast, we welcome two major voices in the labor movement to discuss the data behind the union resurgence and the legislative fight for worker safety. Segment 1: The Resurgence of American Unions Dave Kamper, Senior Strategist for the Economic Policy Institute (EPI), joins the show to discuss his new book, Who's Got the Power? The Resurgence of American Unions. Kamper explains how the pandemic served as a catalyst for worker demands and why Gen Z is leading the charge in organizing. Key Topics: Why EPI research is critical for labor's moral and economic case, the rise of "Solidarity Standards," and how Central Labor Councils are coordinating resource-heavy wins. Segment 2: Securing the Skies and the Streets Greg Regan, President of the Transportation Trades Department (TTD) of the AFL-CIO, outlines a three-front legislative agenda focused on safety as infrastructure. Key Topics: The ROTOR Act and preventing aviation collisions, the RIDER Safety Act to combat rising assaults on transit workers, and the urgent need for federal safety standards for Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) to protect both public safety and American jobs. Chuck, we can't understand the plot because we can't understand your inner monologue. Just kick people in the face! There's a version of this movie that exists somewhere in the fog of its own whispery voiceovers—a lean, paranoid ninja thriller starring a prime-era Chuck Norris. Unfortunately, what we actually get is something bafflingly stupid and surprisingly hard to follow. Dialogue drifts in and out like it's being transmitted through a malfunctioning shortwave radio. Exposition arrives in murmured internal monologues that feel less like insight and more like someone forgot to turn off the narration mic. To be fair, the ninjas are fine. They look the part. They flip, stab, and smoke-bomb on cue. The action sequences are… fine. Competently staged, occasionally energetic, and punctuated by the sort of sternum-crushing kicks you expect from Norris. When fists are flying, the movie briefly wakes up. There's even a sense that someone involved cared about presenting ninjas with a degree of mystique rather than just costumed stuntmen in pajamas. But those moments are islands in a sea of inertia. For long stretches, the film is painfully boring. Scenes drag. Characters speak in hushed tones about vague conspiracies, yet none of it ever quite coheres into something gripping. The supposed menace of the terrorist-ninja training compound never translates into tension. Instead of escalating stakes, we get a parade of bland set-pieces and conversations that feel both overwrought and underwritten at the same time. In the end, The Octagon isn't disastrously bad—it's just inert. The ingredients are there: Norris in his stoic prime, a ninja cult, a secret training fortress. But the muddled dialogue and lifeless pacing sap the energy out of what should have been pulpy gold. If you're a completist for early American ninja cinema, it's worth a look. Just don't expect the kind of delirious nonsense that turns mediocrity into magic.

Along the way: Peter Davison (and the Tom Baker advice he still can't hear), Millie Gibson popping in like it's no big deal, and a convention floor vibe check that can best be summarized by one hoodie: “I told you Disney was a bad idea.” Plus: fans tell us where Doctor Who goes next… including the boldest pitch of all: put it on YouTube.Subscribe to our YouTube Channel and become a True Companion of the podcast to get new episodes before everyone else!Subscribe to our newsletter at pulltoopen.net.Support the podcast by becoming a patron of Pull To Open on Patreon. Please review Pull To Open on Apple Podcasts.Follow us on:TikTok: @pulltoopenInstagram: @pulltoopen63Facebook: @pulltoopen63X: @pulltoopen63Threads: @pulltoopen63Bluesky: @pulltoopenPlay Pull To Open BingoPull To Open: Gallifrey One RecapSeason 7Episode 4Hosts: Pete Pachal and Chris TaylorMusic: Martin West/Thinking Fish©️AnyWho Media LLC 2026Doctor Who ©️BBC 1963

When the Mic Turns Around What happens when interviewer becomes interviewee? In this special role-reversal episode of The Main Thing, longtime friend Chip VanAlsburg steps in as host to turn the microphone on Skip Lineberg. Together, they explore the origin story behind the podcast, the deeper spiritual motivation driving it, and what it really takes to distill knowledge into wisdom that helps people get better at life. Pulling Back the Curtain on The Main Thing From childhood conversations with elders to the "Holy Spirit moment" that birthed the show. And from the unseen, labor-intensive work behind each 25-minute episode… Skip pulls back the curtain, as Chip presents his own brand of insightful, soul-piercing questions. On Light, Leadership, and the Long Game The duo also dives into: Why growth isn't for everyone (and why that's okay) What it means to live effulgently—radiating light and love Reframing "empty nest" into "spacious nest" The butterfly effect of sharing wisdom And how knowledge becomes wisdom only when it's lived and shared Last but not least, Chip shares his own emerging vision—an honest, heartfelt look at trauma, healing, storytelling, and what he calls "big medicine." If you've ever wondered why this podcast exists—or what wisdom is really for—this conversation will meet you right where you are. Press play. Reflect deeply. Share generously. A Bit More About Our Wise Guest-Host Chip VanAlsburg is a big thinker with a restless mind and a wide-open heart. He challenges assumptions, pushes boundaries, and rarely accepts "no" as the final answer—especially when curiosity or conviction is involved. Bold and unafraid, Chip has spent more than two decades leading in the media, technology, and telecommunications worlds, holding roles such as General Manager, Vice President, and most recently Director at Lumen Technologies in Pittsburgh. But titles only tell part of the story. Chip is a glutton for experiences, with a voracious appetite for life and learning. He's an avid user of emojis, deeply fond of laughter, and unashamed of tears when the moment calls for them. His ego is squarely in check, even as his irises stay cranked wide open in a lifelong quest for peace, perspective, and enlightenment. What makes Chip compelling isn't just what he's accomplished—it's how he shows up: courageous, curious, emotionally honest, and fully engaged with the world around him. He brings that same energy and depth to conversation, making him the kind of guest who doesn't just share insights—he invites reflection. Now, buckle up and get ready to join the duo in exploring the concept of living a good life by pursuing purpose with humility, resilience and faith. This episode was recorded in-person, face-to-face inside Parkwood Studios in Almost Heaven, West Virginia. Send me a DM here (it doesn't let me respond), OR email me: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comThis Part 2 interview by 'Child G' discusses allegations of a large child abuse ring in Hampstead, London that was allegedly covered up by police and courts. Two children, A.L.I.S.A and G.A.B.R.I.E.L., made detailed allegations in 2014 of being sexually abused by over 100 people including teachers and members of a satanic cult. However, police did not properly investigate or arrest any suspects. While a doctor found injuries consistent with abuse, a judge ruled the claims were baseless without considering failures in the police investigation. The mother of the children has not seen them since 2015. Supporters demand a proper police investigation into the children's original claims of abuse.-------------------------------------------------------------A fascinating case of a massive Satanic cult discovered in Hampstead by the police. The case was amazingly well documented by camera during the interviews of the children. Scenes of satanic rituals, sexual abuse, infant murder and cannibalism were described in vivid detail by the children. Those who were named by the children in the Cult include; the children's biological father, a number of the staff members and parents of their classmates at the school, members of the police force in the schools jurisdiction, members of the Hampstead community including shop and restaurant owners, staff from at least 7 other schools in the area, and clergy members from the local church. All of these videos and details were private case files that were later leaked to the public. The children were later intimidated, told to redact their stories, and taken back by their abusers. The mother has never seen her children again. The lady who exposed these tapes was sentenced to 9 years of her life in prison. This case is massive in itself with who is incriminated. There are now updates in 2022, and there is a brief covering of it by someone who has also been exposed to this abuse.**Child 'G's witness statement and interview will air on next week's 'Movie Night'-----------------------------------------------------------IMPORANT LINKS:-"Sabine McNeill - Whistleblower of Hampstead Whistleblower Kids on Satanic Pedo Ring Cover-Up"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcLA0lLXtS0-"Father falsely accused of being a 'satanic cult paedophile ring leader' Victoria Derbyshire"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5f9N6wmiLQ-"Hampstead Exposed.
