Sports is something that many people are passionate about. Whether is rooting for your favorite team, cheering on a family member or being in the heat of completion yourself, sports is something that many of us interact with on a regular basis. At times, this interaction can bring out sides of us that would rather people not see. In this episode we chat with Kevin Peters, director of Athletics and Ministries here at the College, about glorifying the Lord through Athletics and how the Lord can use sports to grow our relationship with Him.

The Bible, and more specifically the New Testament tells us the story of the start of the Christian Church. From the ascension of Jesus to the Acts of the Apostles, from the writings of Paul to the Revelation of John we can see how the early church was set on fire for Christ. What is lesser known however, is what has happened since those first years of the early church. In this episode we sit down with Chris Brown to talk about the history of the church and why it matters to us today.

Whether it’s the CEO of a company, a politician, someone in ministry, or wherever else you find people, you will always find someone in a role of leadership. Though their specific responsibilities vary, leaders all have one major thing in common – those that they lead are impacted greatly by the decisions they make. Our guest for this episode is Phil Ruten, President of Millar College, here to talk to us about the concept of servant leadership and how this is counter cultural to what society tends to believe.

World missions is one of our seven core values here at Millar College of the Bible and this past weekend the Pambrun Campus hosted its annual Missions Conference. In this podcast, we talk with two people who were instrumental in the preparation and organization of this conference, and find out what this event entailed, as well ask them what the purpose is behind putting together such a big weekend devoted to the value of missions.

Mentoring is something that is one of our core values here at Millar, and we are not alone. Many businesses and organization also understand that mentoring is a practice that is beneficial for the mentee, the mentor as well as all those around them. In this episode, we are joined by Jennilee Vellacott and Ryan Campbell, our deans at our Sunnybrae campus, to talk about how they have seen mentoring impact our students as well as some tips for those that are looking to be mentored themselves.

The Arts have defined and expressed culture throughout all of history. Whether through music, painting, theatre, or other mediums, art reveals what people value and expresses how they feel.  At times, this can seem to conflict with Biblical values and can cause controversy within the Church. Join us for this episode as we chat with Lorn Gieck and Meagan Klumpenhower, about how when we use art to tell God’s story, it becomes a response of worship to God from His people.

At first glance, the question of “Who is God” can seem easy to answer. But as we give it further thought, we begin to realize that our understanding of the answer to this question depicts a lot of what we believe about our faith, our lives, and God Himself. In this Episode, Arnie Armstrong joins us to talk about this question and show us a few places to in Scripture that sheds light on this issue.

The Gospel is the greatest news for all of mankind. However, for those of us who have accepted Christ, it can be easy to believe that the Gospel message is not applicable to us anymore. In this episode, we sit down with the Director of our Sunnybrae Campus, Steve Janz, and talk about the idea that as believers in Jesus Christ, preaching the gospel to ourselves daily is of vital importance to our personal walk with the Lord.
