Obscurical: the Musical: the Podcast now presents you with the biggest fail in Broadway history! Amber and Liz talk about Carrie (both versions!) and add their own professional take! Welcome to Part 2 of A Very Potter Musical episode! As we all now know, Amber does not actually know anything of significance about the Harry Potter series, so this episode is the equivalent of a oral pop quiz - you know, the ones that our history teachers used to give us in middle school? The worst. She may or may not have failed. However, please enjoy this episode of Lizzie making fun of Amber for not knowing anything for 40 minutes straight!

After taking a two-week vacation, we are back! Amber and Lizzie are kicking off the school year with a throwback to classic 2009 YouTube. We watched and discussed A Very Potter Musical! Tune in this week to hear some thoughts and opinions of this musical parody of the iconic book series Harry Potter! Abra-cadabra!!!!! Or something like that... right?

If the Obscurical pod was an anonymous glass bottle of liquid, we would have a sign that says "Drink Me!" However, we're not, so we can only say, "Listen!" because we have another episode out! In this episode we quite figuratively fall down the rabbit hole and get very, very lost while trying to find out where we are.

This week Amber and Liz dive right into a spooky musical and we are spooked all right, just not in the way you would think. This might be the most confusing musical we've talked about on the show and we do our best here, but we're not sure anyone is ready for this one. Sorry to all the humans (and bats).

We've all been glued to our TVs this week watching the 2020 Olympics, so Amber and Liz decided to play a few games ourselves! Join us as we partake in some friendly competition! (Not really, but we still had tons of fun!) Let the games begin!

Our musical this time is Lin Manuel-Miranda's baby musical and it's purely for ~*the intellectuals.*~ I'm kidding. It's not. However, it has an interesting story behind it and we let you guys know about it!

This week, Liz and Amber talk about the historical figures of Bonnie and Clyde; except this time, they are also singing and dancing while murdering. A wonderful edition to the story, right? Do we give this “flopway” show a big fat rotten tomato to the face, or are we throwing our own production of it for ourselves? We really don't know, but you can listen to us Scream About It in a way we promise not even we were expecting! Sorry!

You can say the Little Miss Sunshine the film won a few "pageants" back in its day, so of course the Obscurical pod had to talk about the musical adaptation of the wildly popular movie! Join Amber and Liz as they talk about Little Miss Sunshine the Musical and why it was "runner-up" to its film "Sister Queen."  (sorry about all of the pageant puns)

Checkmate y'all! Today's episode is about a musical that actually was on Broadway, but it ended up being a stalemate (get it?). What we're trying to say is: it didn't do well, which is why it's unknown, which is why we are talking about it. Unlike the actual game of chess, Chess the Musical has a fascinating history that we are so excited to share with you!
