This podcast will bring you wisdom from the perspective of the Soul to help you live more authentically.
Do you ever have moments where you say “I CAN'T do this…it's too hard”? This week I sat with Linda Pestana again...who has been an inspiration as a quadriplegic for almost 7 years. "My spirit is so alive…but my body is crumbling. It can be easy to focus on what's not working." she said. Join our conversation, as we talk about how when life becomes stormy and challenging, sometimes all we have left is to focus on God. Linda also shares what she does to help her shift in her truly uncomfortable moments. And she shares how she still loves life….even though she may never be able to move again. Stay for the end...we offer a spontaneous combined prayer for you. :) www.sandyalemian.com Spiritual Grief Sisterhood on FB
When a baby dies, it is so very hard to see any sort of gift in the experience. Jennifer Williams's son Ocean passed when he was 4 months old. Jennifer knows he came in to save her soul. In this podcast, I connected with his Spirit. His spirit said he came into her life to "pull her out of her own hell." I also guided Jennifer into a connection to her own Spirit, so she could connect to Ocean's energy. And I've never felt this before in 30 years of connecting with Spirit...his energy felt like "pure God". Welcome to the conversation. sandyalemian.com
In today's episode, my friend and artist Kathleen Hassan and I connect some dots around how grief earlier in life can show up in day to day reactions. We also share how we move from fear to faith. At the end of the podcast, Kathleen and I offer a prayer for you...no matter where you are at on your journey. May it touch your heart. sandyalemian.com Kathleen's website is: kathleenhassan.com
Danielle reached out to me because she wanted ideas on how to talk to her young kids about death. Her grandfather passed when she was 10, and what she was taught to believe was that he was gone, far away...taken from her. This left a huge void in her lil heart. In this episode, I brought her inner child into a Spirit connection with her grandfather. It was a goosebumps moment!! She didn't know he was right by her side for 30 years. She JUST DIDN'T KNOW. Connecting with her grandfather not only filled the void in her; it healed the heaviness in her heart. Danielle was like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz…she found what she needed all along…and it was inside her all this time. Enjoy...with so much love, Sandy www.sandyalemian.com
Are you tired of feeling stuck in your mind? Or stuck in doing mode? In this episode, I'm going to guide you through one of my favorite meditations...a loving detachment meditation. It will bring you to a place where you'll feel peace that is always there for you, no matter what is happening in your life. www.sandyalemian.com
Losing a child is unfathomable. In this week's episode, you're invited behind the scenes as I'm working with Diane Colligan, whose son had passed. My intention was to guide Diane into a connection with her son's spirit. It was truly beautiful. Then we addressed the "void" that was left within her since her son passed. The healing that happens will touch your heart. This is what is possible for anyone. Death is not the end of them. Grief is not the end of you. Healing happens. www.sandyalemian.com
In today's episode, my dear friend Linda Pestana and I talk about what happens when we put so many things before our spiritual practice...and then we talk about forgiveness and how challenging it is sometimes, especially for ourselves. Linda is a former nun, an author, grief counselor and a quadriplegic for the last 6 years. Her faith is astounding...and yet she is still human. PLEASE make sure you listen in at the end...I'll guide you through a meditation to help you feel more peace. xo If you'd like to reach either one of us, you can contact me through www.sandyalemian.com

Today's episode is the first of a series of conversations I have with my friend Linda Pestana. Linda is a former nun; a grief counselor and author. Six years ago, she had an accident at home, that left her paralyzed from the neck down. She wants to still be an inspiration to others, and she has a powerful message to share. Listen in as we talk about her accident; about God; and how she stays grateful.
This is another raw and heartfelt conversation with Linda Pestana as she shares her life and inspiration as a quadriplegic. Today we talk about how we've both moved through fear and what we do when trust feels shaky.
Welcome to our first episode! In this episode, I'll share 4 foundational ideas about grief that I share with my clients, and I'll share a message from God that I did NOT want to deliver! I'm so happy you're here!
