Finishing off our series off killer medical professionals, we will be talking about the crimes of Beverley Allitt. Allitt would take advantage of the trust and security that a hospital gave her, and committed the ultimate betrayal against the parents of children undergoing mostly routine monitoring, by taking 4 lives. Her weapon of choice was a syringe, she would inject children with lethal doses of insulin, potassium or sometimes just air to induce a respiratory collapse in small children. Her targets being the most vulnerable of humans, her attention seeking behaviour and her abuse of power makes her one of recent histories most cold and calculated killers.
Today's episode is the second in our 'Killer Doctors" series and we will be looking at the case of Marcel Petiot; an evil and corrupt Doctor who took advantage of the worldwide unrest during World War 2 to commit hideous atrocities. We'd love to know your thoughts and feedback, so let us know what you think! Love S & E Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/theunnamedmurderpc

One warm August morning is a good time to spend with family, right? Apparently not for Lizzie Borden. Fueled by feelings of being cheated from her birthright- and jealousy- Lizzie was accused of a strike a total of no less than 28 to her father and step-mother in their own home... But did she do it? Join us to discuss the evidence surrounding this case, with our special guest, the wood pigeon perched just above Sofie's chimney close to where we recorded :)
In todays episode we are looking at the case of Mary Mallon, more commonly known as Typhoid Mary. Mary was a woman who wouldn't let a few deaths get in the way of her passion for cooking. This is slightly different than the type of stories we usually cover but we hope you enjoy! Please let us know your thoughts and feedback!
Join us while we discuss the reasons we think maybe the allegations against Elizabeth Bathory might not be so concrete. Let us know what you think of the case by interacting with us here or on twitter @unnamedmurderpc
First up in our historic killers series is Countess Elizabeth Bathory. Even if you haven't heard of her, you're probably aware of the famous movie trope of the bloodthirsty vampire, or the sorceress who craves the blood of the young to keep herself beautiful; well here is the tale that inspired them. Elizabeth Bathory was born in 1560 and during her life amassed a count of around 650 murders, mutilations and torture combined. Let us know what you think of this case on twitter or Goodpods, we'd love to hear from you!
It had been a long 13 hour shift at the ER department of the local hospital, and Susan Kuhnhausen was looking forward to coming home to wind down. Watch some TV, maybe a relaxing bubble bath, but what she didn't expect to be waiting for her, was a hitman. A known criminal who had been paid to take her out. Who could possibly do such a thing?....
For the second episode in our survivor series, we are discussing the case of Alison Botha, who was attacked by two men on the night of the 18th December 1994. Despite the mental and physical toll the attack had taken on Alison, she managed to drag herself to safety. Listen to the details and let us know your thoughts...we think that she is an amazingly brave woman.
Today we will be starting the Survivors series with the case of Mary Vincent, a 15 year old girl who was brutally attacked and mutilated by Lawrence Singleton in 1978. Mary bravely survived and is now an artist and victims rights advocate.
Today we will be discussing the very sad case of the Soham murders in 2002. The lives of 10 year old Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman ended at the hands of Ian Huntley, a local resident and fiance of their teaching assistant.
In this episode we'll be going over the prosecutions case against Jeremy Bamber and the theory that he is the murderer of his family. As of today Jeremy has been in prison for 35 years, but do you think he did it?
In this episode we will be discussing the case of the White House Farm Murders, where 5 members of the same family were killed in the grandparents home; a farmhouse in a small village in Essex, England. Everything is not as it may seem, and a lack of evidence suggests the accused may not be to blame... Is Jeremy Bamber guilty?
What do you think about the crimes of Diane Downs and Chris Watts? Are they similar enough in evil to be put in the same class, or is one far worse than the other? Let us know what you think! Thank you for listening Sofie & Ellie x
Thanks for joining us for another episode! Following on from Episode 1, we are continuing in analysing the cases of the candidates for our worst parent killer. As mentioned in the last episode details, both of these cases are that of family annihilation, but strangely are also both extremely unusual cases of such. In most instances of family annihilation, a father murders his family and then himself by suicide. Chris Watts decided not to end his life, making this quite the unusual case indeed. Listen for details of the case and our opinions on the documentary. Please let us know what you would like to hear next. Thank you for listening Sofie & Ellie x Uui9eIOvRubXAFtAIciM
In this series we are discussing contenders for our worst parent murders. We have chosen two cases that just so happen to be similar in the way that they are both instance of 'family annihilation' killings, but even more similar is that they are unusual family annihilation killings. According to criminal psychologists and police, most cases of family annihilation killings occur where the father kills the other members of the family, and themselves last, by suicide. So it is strange that these cases both do not follow this usual 'trend'. We hope you enjoy hearing the facts of the case and finding out (more) about what Diane Downs did. Tune in for episode 2 where we will be discussing the case of Chris Watts. Ellie & Sofie x
