Joel Kroeker started as an Evangelical Christian who wanted nothing more than a wife and a career in a Christian rock band. He ended up as a baker who's not even sure he's a Christian anymore. He got the wife, though!

As a teenager, Shannon Swekla wanted nothing more than to end up as a stay-at-home mother, writing the next Great Canadian Novel during naptimes. She soon learned that nothing ever really goes to plan.
