YMT vet Brad Macneil joins Travis and new guest Scott McLeod for the first STAFF PICKS episode of Yours, Mine, & the Truth! Our first film for discussion is the 2000 Curtis Hanson vehicle Wonderboys. Put a sweater on and enjoy the ride!
Yours, Mine, & the Truth returns with its first returning guest, actor and comedian Brad MacNeil. The two former Blockbuster co-workers discuss the triple (sextuple?) whammy of soundtracks from the films Grosse Pointe Blank, Boogie Nights, and The Wedding Singer. Each soundtrack put out two volumes of songs from their respective films. Each film had the song "99 Luftballons" by Nena in it. None of the six volumes of soundtrack music had this on the track listings. We revisit the three films, but primarily, their six soundtracks and what we were loving about them then and now through top threes, hidden gems, surprises, and the presentation of the illustrious 100th Luftballoon Trophy for the best songs that didn't make the soundtrack cut. This was so fun to do and we hope you love it as much as we did and that you stay safe this very unique holiday season!
YMT dusts the scaly mothballs off of an event movie that has had little to no real lasting impact in spite of Travis seeing it twice in the opening week. Actor and funny person Brad MacNeil is there to help fill in the blanks of an era that spawned GODZILLA from the power couple of Emmerich and Devlin. Razzies were awarded, but were they just? Listen and laugh along to a great convo with an all-time great dude. Follow us on Twitter: @NetworkPwom
