Dan Patlansky is currently on tour launching his latest album Introvertigo and stopped by the garage for an engaging conversation. We backtrack through Dan’s childhood growing up in Johannesburg and how his musical tastes evolved straight back to the blues. We talk about genre-snobbery, record labels, residency gigs, all his albums, and what it means to be an introvert. There’s also a few cool stories like how Dan lost his 62 Strat in Hurricane Katrina, how he ended up touring with Joe Satriani and how he managed to open for Bruce Springsteen at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. The WAT Podcast is charting at number 1 on SA iTunes in the Performing Arts category this week. Whoo-hoo!
