How to study the Bible: IX. Cutting off sin: We need to transform our lives, though at times it will be rough, but if we are going to make heaven our home we need to be different from the world, and not be conformed to this world. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 5th study session on Gregg Olsen's If You Loving You Is Wrong, which investigates the scandalous, Tragic Arrangement between White Puget Sound schoolteacher Mary Kay Letourneau and her 12-year-old non-white student, Vili Fualaau. When speaking with Neely Fuller Jr. many years ago about why it's incorrect for White people to engage in sexual activity with non-white people, he cited the Letourneau case. At the time, Gus shamelessly admitted being ignorant about this incident. Fuller paused briefly before asking Gus to confirm that he was dialing from Seattle's 206 area code. Chatting all the way from Washington, D.C., Fuller knew all the tacky details of this case and how it corroborates his counter-racist code, which prohibits sexual activity between White and non-white people. Last week, we were given another stunning illustration of a fundamental component of White Supremacy/Racism Code: People classified as White do not snitch on other White people. OIsen told us that many, many members of the Letourneau clan and even other White educators and White enforcement officials were aware of the criminal conduct of Mary Kay. But they chose to do nothing. Allowed her to continue raping a non-white child - which might be another collective act of White Supremacy by the family. A similar theme is that many White people do not think Vili Fualaau was a victim. He's called a gangster, suspected of kidnapping Mary Kay, and accused of pursuing his 30-year-old teacher for a sexual relationship. #ChildRape #MommyAndDaddyFightAboutTheBrownBoy INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: http://cash.app/$TheCOWS

During our time together Ika explains how art journaling has helped her with both her mental and emotional health and how she has been able to share this creative magic with those around her. Ika has a passion for taking “junk” and elevating it to treasure to be collected and used within our journals. This is part of Ika's unique way of looking at the world around her. "I Beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. In this compilation episode of the best "Teenage Idiot" stories shared on the pod, Courtney and Whitney kick off the laughs by recounting some of their more idiotic moments from their youth. From fake IDs and lying to parents to wild nights and questionable decisions, everyone reveals their funniest and most cringeworthy moments from when they were young. Welcome to "Teenage Idiots," a collection of stories that will have you wondering how you ever made it out of the teen years alive! In this hilarious Party Animals compilation, various guests recall their not-so-smartest moments as teenagers when they decided to party like it was 1999. No matter the year, these teenage idiots prove that the prefrontal cortex is still way underdeveloped during these formative years! Now, as thriving adults (thankfully), they sit down with the sisters to relive their most foolish high school antics and the even more idiotic efforts to cover their tracks. You know you were once a “Lil' idiot,” so pour yourself a Zima, a wine cooler, or a glass of Boone's Farm, and join us on this wild trip down memory lane—because sometimes, dumb is just part of the journey. How to study the Bible: IX. Cutting off of sin (continues): The most positive way of cutting off sin is when we fellowship with one another: "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanceth us from all sin." The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the fourth study session on Gregg Olsen's If You Loving You Is Wrong, which investigates the scandalous, Tragic Arrangement between White Puget Sound schoolteacher Mary Kay Letourneau and her 12-year-old non-white student, Vili Fualaau. Gus T. was not a Seattle resident at the time of this criminal disgrace. When speaking with Neely Fuller Jr. many years ago about why it's incorrect for White people to engage in sexual activity with non-white people, he cited the Letourneau case. At the time, Gus shamelessly admitted being ignorant about this case. Last week, we learned about the lies, overspending and habitual truancy in the Letourneau household. Olsen told us that they stiffed the babysitters on payments and lied to them about when they'd return home. However, the sitters felt compensated by being in proximity to a perfect, blond family. We heard what may be described as a grooming process in which Mary Kay enrolled in art classes along with Vili. The Letourneaus used Vili's older non-white brother as a babysitter. Olsen gives what should have been the title of the book when one of the White neighbors recalls Mary Kay's child telling her: "Mommy and Daddy fight about the brown boy." #ChilldRape #NoPoliticsOnTheJob INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: http://cash.app/$TheCOWS

There's no time for a guest this week—when there's too much delicious food to discuss! Join Whitney and Courtney as they sip Dirty Sis Martinis and recap 3 days of their summer 'Cookathon'. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the third study session on Gregg Olsen's If You Loving You Is Wrong, which investigates the scandalous, tragic arrangement between White Seattle schoolteacher Mary Kay Letourneau and her 12-year-old non-white student, Vili Fualaau. Gus T. was not a Seattle resident at the time of this criminal disgrace. When speaking with Neely Fuller Jr. many years ago about why it's incorrect for White people to engage in sexual activity with non-white people, he cited the Letourneau case. At the time, Gus shamelessly admitted being ignorant about this case. Fuller paused briefly before asking Gus to confirm that he was dialing from Seattle's 206 area code. Chatting all the way from Washington, D.C., Fuller knew all the tacky details of this case and how it corroborates his counter-racist code, which prohibits so-called interracial hanky panky until there's no more Racism. Last week we learned more about the bastard children of Mary Kay's father John Schmitz. His White mistress Carla Stuckle (or he) mutilated one of the illicit boy's genitals, but even this gruesome crime was given minimal punishment. The boy and his sister were eventually dumped in an orphanage after their mother died. Gus and other readers think Mary Kay's White Mother, Mary Schmitz, played a dominant role in trashing her husband's "love children." We also got more details about Mary Kay's parenting and teaching style. Apparently, she instituted "free-range" parenting before it was en vogue. Olsen says her White neighbors vividly remembered how often Mary Kay lost track of her young children - frequently near a construction site. We also learned that her school papers were so stained and crumpled that they looked like garbage. The blond White educator missed meetings, bragged about a lack of structure in her classrooms, and was known for being chronically tardy - call it "Mary Kay Time." #ChildRape #INVEST in The C.O.W.S. - https://cash.app/$TheCOWS #TheCOWS16Years CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE: 564943#

My Grumpy Editor by Rachel Chamberlayne Abi has met her ultimate bully. Will she be brave enough to rise to the challenge? Determined to escape the ghosts of her past, Abi Benson jumps at the chance to skip town when she is offered a ghostwriting position at a prestigious digital marketing firm in the Big City. When she discovers she'll be writing for a dream client just two weeks into the job, the opportunity seems almost too good to be true. And when her assigned editor, Philip Baker, informs her of the unfortunate case of mistaken identity that disqualifies her from the running, it turns out that it is. Desperate to prove herself, Abi strikes up a deal that her broody, enigmatic editor can't resist. In exchange for keeping her secret about her true identity, she'll accompany Phil to his brother's wedding in order to charm his difficult father—who happens to be more distraught over Phil's recent breakup than he is. As the guilt over her lie catches up with her, Abi finds comfort in the most unexpected place: her grumpy editor's surprisingly tender embrace—especially when an assault flips her world upside down and prevents her from revealing the secret she so desperately wants to confess. Now, hundreds of miles from home and feeling even more distant from God, Abi must summon the courage to face both her fears and her past head on. But will Phil and Abi's romance survive the storm, or will their differing beliefs extinguish their fragile flame forever? Learn more about Rachel on her WEBSITE and follow her on GoodReads. This week on Hey Sis, Eat This, the sisters reconvene to recap vacations filled with missing flights, making meals, and unexpected prairie dog hunts. Courtney's Jackson Hole and Utah adventure with her daughters got off to a rocky start thanks to a Real ID snafu. But things took a turn for the mystical when she stumbled upon a 700 lb crystal while on a hike. Surrounded by her daughters, BFF Elle, and BBQ mogul Brent Harman, the group harnessed the magic to manifest their dreams “giving birth” to a new start after a hard year. She also took full advantage of vacation to cook for friends and navigate those awkward "birds and the bees" talks with her daughters. Meanwhile, Whitney's annual trip to her happy place—“Camp Ranch” in Colorado—came with a minor hiccup when her horse Sherrie broke her toe prior to departure. But nothing was going to derail her favorite Fourth of July tradition. Between watermelon pico made with love, prairie dog patrol with the family, sunset wine chats, and one very memorable rattlesnake sighting, Whitney soaked up every moment of ranch life. Shifting gears, Courtney and Whitney bravely address the recent tragic floods in Kerr County, Texas and the surrounding areas. The sisters share first-hand accounts and call on the HSET community to support their fellow Texans by donating to recovery efforts. It's an episode filled with laughter, genuine connection, and a heartfelt reminder of the power of community. This week, we hang out with Ben Richardson of Sydney's Made of Many roastery and Brighter cafe, and get into what it really means to build culture in coffee. Ben shares how his journey started not just from wanting to roast great coffee, but from seeing a lack of genuine culture and career paths in many roasteries. He explains how focusing on real relationships and long-term commitment — rather than just chasing perfection or high scores — leads to deeper impact and a more meaningful business overall. We also touch on the philosophy behind Brighter cafe, which intentionally avoids social media marketing and instead thrives on word-of-mouth and authentic community connections. It's a long, fun conversation, giving more perspective to who makes up the coffee industry, and how we have so much in common.
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the second study session on Gregg Olsen's If You Loving You Is Wrong, which investigates the scandalous, tragic arrangement between White Seattle schoolteacher Mary Kay Letourneau and her 12-year-old non-white student, Vili Fualaau. Gus T. was not a Seattle resident at the time of this criminal disgrace. Also, Fuller emphasized how White people exploit the childlike state of non-white people/Victims of Racism in these sexual arrangements. Last week, Olsen told us of Mary Kay's California upbringing which included her father John Schmitz's political work for "right wing," "ultraconservative" causes. Her family's connections to the John Birch Society, a notoriously Racist organization, further corroborated Gus's belief that Letourneau was a cunning Race Soldier who deliberately selected a vulnerable non-white child to rape. The first installment of Olsen's book, which details the police stopping Mary Kay and 12-year-old Vili Fualaau during a 1am sexual rendezvous, reminded Gus of Jeffrey Dahmer's stealth when questioned by Milwaukee police officers who could have save the life of 14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone. #MaryKTime INVEST in The C.O.W.S. - https://cash.app/$TheCOWS #TheCOWS16Years CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE: 564943#
