PlusMusic Podcast - Conversations with musicians, for musicians
We welcomed Dave Keuning, guitarist for legendary Las Vegas rock band, The Killers. We spoke to him about the pitfalls of searching for his first bandmates, and eventually meeting Brandon Flowers via an online ad, laying the foundation for what would become The Killers. Dave's solo work (under his namesake, Keuning) was also a topic of discussion, including the sonic differences between his debut album, Prismism, his upcoming sophomore album, and the next Killers album, which he has returned to be apart of. Nick, Brian and Dave also talk about fantasy football, and do a deep dive into everyone's favorite topic - American politics! Keep up with Dave on his Instagram, @keuning.

Eric and Zeff are down in the New Basement Studio, accompanied by a number of craft brews. But here's the catch - the brews were selected by using their names only. So whether it's "Revenge of the Zyth," "Shotgun Betty," or "Shark Tears," does how your beer taste have anything to do with how it sounds? And if "None of This Makes Sense" - well, that's not exactly new for our podcasting duo..... (For the personality test click here, and also ending up in the jug: Diamonds Are Forever, Sweet Baby Java, Prismism, Chin Music, Chomolungma, & Banana Bread)
The guys are joined by Dave Keuning of The Killers and Keuning to discuss “Siamese Dream” from the Smashing Pumpkins. Plenty of discussion about Dave’s new album “Prismism,” Billy Corgan, Pisces Iscariot, Pissant, James Iha, and why Ben & Wayne sometimes call the band “Smashing Milk.” Check out Dave’s new record and tour dates at: keuningmusic.com
