The 16-track album - a mix of dynamic guitar riffs, 80s synth-pop and melodic alt-rock - was written throughout 2020 and recorded by Dave in his San Diego home studio. We spoke to him about the pitfalls of searching for his first bandmates, and eventually meeting Brandon Flowers via an online ad, laying the foundation for what would become The Killers. The Killers es una banda estadounidense de Las Vegas, Nevada formada en 2002. La banda está compuesta por Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer y Ronnie Vannucci Jr.. Como parte del movimiento post punk revival, su música está influida por estilos de la década de 1980. Lanzaron su álbum debut, Hot Fuss, en 2004, con éxito comercial en los Estados Unidos y el Reino Unido, y su segundo álbum, Sam's Town, fue lanzado en 2006. En 2007 sacaron el álbum de recopilaciones Sawdust, que contiene principalmente caras-B, rarezas y otros temas. Su tercer disco de estudio, titulado Day and Age, fue lanzado en 2008 y contó con la producción de Stuart Price. El 18 de septiembre de 2012 publicó su cuarto álbum titulado Battle Born.
