The Triple Po has returned! I want to apologize for not releasing an episode last week, but I was worn out both emotionally and physically from ReasonCon3. I hope y'all understand! This week I give a recap of years very event that exhausted me : ReasonCon3! I will will let you hear the show to hear all the gory details, but I will say that it was everything I had hoped it would be, and even more. I left with my heart full and hungover, but hangovers don't last. However, awesome memories do, and that's what I come away with. I think I have earned my redemption.  The episode consists of my recollections, as well as a segment Tucker and I recorded on the way back from ReasonCon3. The sound quality is pretty bad, but I thought it was important to include it.  In the post-ramble I thank Gene Elliott. If it wasn't for the hard work of Gene, his organization, and the volunteers, none of this would have been possible. This conference means so much to so many, and I am glad I was a small part of it.  Also, if you go to the show Facebook page you will find all the photos I took, which consist mostly of selfies with me and numerous other people, and there are videos I did on Facebook Live on both the Facebook and YouTube pages. Hopefully it will give you a glimpse of the awesomeness that was ReasonCon3! Enjoy!  Music by Dot Dot Dash, cdbaby.com/cd/dotdotdash

Today’s episode is a collection of short interviews I did with some of the speakers and attendees of last week’s ReasonCon3 conference in Hickory, NC. First up is Gene Elliott, who helped organize the event. Then I chat with Matt Dillahunty, one of the speakers. Then we hear from friend of the show, Louis Mendez, followed by Heath and Eli from God Awful Movies. And finally I chat with Callie Wright from the Gaytheist Manifesto, who pretty much stole the show, and you’ll soon find out why.Links:•ReasonCon: http://reasonnc.com/ •The Atheist Experience: http://www.atheist-experience.com/ •Louis Mendez’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/the.louis.mendez •God Awful Movies: https://audioboom.com/channel/god-awful-movies •The Gaytheist Manifesto: http://gaytheistmanifesto.secularmediagroup.com/ •The Original Motto Project: http://originalmotto.us/ •Skeptic’s Brewpub: http://skepticsbrewpub.com/ •Freedom from Religion Foundation: http://ffrf.org •Secular Yakking: http://secularyakking.com/ •The Biskeptical Podcast: http://www.spreaker.com/show/the-biskeptical-podcast•Dream Youth: http://dreamyouth.bandcamp.com •Asher Silberman: http://www.ashersilberman.com/ •My Twitter: http://twitter.com/tmamone •Bi Any Means on Twitter: http://twitter.com/bianymeanspod •Bi Any Means on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/bianymeanspodcast •The Bi Any Means/Biskeptical Podcast Fans Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/179617892470906/ •Email: bianymeanspodcast@gmail.com •Listener line: 410-690-3558 •My Patreon page: http://www.patreon.com/tmamone •Bi Any Means Blog: http://freethoughtblogs.com/bianymeans/

My guest for today is Noelle George, the Executive Director of Foundation Beyond Belief. According to her bio on FoundationBeyondBelief.org, “Noelle is a secular activist who grew up in Seattle, Washington, but didn't become passionate about secular activism until she moved to Houston, Texas, and was constantly asked ‘Where do you go to church?’ She has worked as a degreed chemical engineer and project manager, but moved to secular activism in 2009. Since then, she has leveraged her previously learned professional skills to help multiple national secular organizations and has also traveled around the country consulting with local groups on the topics of volunteering, leadership, organizational skills, and feminism. In addition to her work at FBB, Noelle is the founder of Mothers Beyond Belief, is on the advisory board of Secular Woman, and is on the American Humanist Association's LGTBQ Humanist Alliance Advisory Council.” So today we’re going to talk about her background and Foundation Beyond Belief.Links:•Foundation Beyond Belief: https://foundationbeyondbelief.org/ •FBB End of Year Fundraising Drive: https://foundationbeyondbelief.org/end-year-fundraising-drive/•Noelle George on Twitter: https://twitter.com/silveroak77 •Think Stephtically: https://www.facebook.com/ThinkStephtically/ •Secular Yakking: http://secularyakking.com/ •ReasonCon3: http://reasonnc.com/ •The Biskeptical Podcast: http://www.spreaker.com/show/the-biskeptical-podcast•Dream Youth: http://dreamyouth.bandcamp.com •Asher Silberman: http://www.ashersilberman.com/ •My Twitter: http://twitter.com/tmamone •Bi Any Means on Twitter: http://twitter.com/bianymeanspod •Bi Any Means on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/bianymeanspodcast •The Bi Any Means/Biskeptical Podcast Fans Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/179617892470906/ •Email: bianymeanspodcast@gmail.com •Listener line: 410-690-3558 •My Patreon page: http://www.patreon.com/tmamone •Bi Any Means Blog: http://freethoughtblogs.com/bianymeans/

My guest for today musician Raymond Arnold. He is the creator of a secular solstice celebration that’s held every year around the time of the winter solstice worldwide. According to the official Secular Solstice website, “This holiday was created for people with a worldview rooted in both science, progress and compassion. Who want to make the world a better place, and who understand that sometimes this means learning new things that challenge your worldview. The Secular Solstice is a time when we tell inspiring stories that remind us we’re not alone. That challenge us to work to make a better future. But, crucially, those stories have a firm grounding in our latest, best understanding of the world.” So today we’re going to talk about how this celebration began, what a typical service looks like, and how people can participate.Links:•SecularSolstice.com: http://secularsolstice.com/ •Brighter Than Today soundtrack: https://humanistculture.bandcamp.com/album/brighter-than-today-a-secular-solstice •Anthony Magnabosco: https://www.youtube.com/user/magnabosco210 •ReasonCon3: http://reasonnc.com/ •The Biskeptical Podcast: http://www.spreaker.com/show/the-biskeptical-podcast•Dream Youth: http://dreamyouth.bandcamp.com •Asher Silberman: http://www.ashersilberman.com/ •My Twitter: http://twitter.com/tmamone •Bi Any Means on Twitter: http://twitter.com/bianymeanspod •Bi Any Means on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/bianymeanspodcast •The Bi Any Means/Biskeptical Podcast Fans Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/179617892470906/ •Email: bianymeanspodcast@gmail.com •Listener line: 410-690-3558 •My Patreon page: http://www.patreon.com/tmamone •Bi Any Means Blog: http://freethoughtblogs.com/bianymeans/
