Risa Brainin and company from the UCSB Theatre & Dance Department announce the performance of the 4th play in this year's Launchpad program of new plays in development. The final play, to be seen this coming Saturday, is Elocutia Does Pygmalion: by Cheryl West. A black riff on Bernard Shaw's original comedy, it breaks down certain assumptions of privilege, and shows the young educating their elders. The play will be on zoom via the The UCSB Theatre and Dance website Saturday August 8 at 4:00pm.

What Martha Did is a new play by playwright Enid Graham (first seen as a staged reading during last summer's Launchpad program). It is due to have its first fully staged production opening at the campus Performing Arts Theatre Friday November 15th.
