In life there are seasons; every season has an assignment, and every assignment is significant. In this episode, Jen Tringale sits down with worship recording artists, Michael and Sherrie Howell, to discuss how you find significance and fulfillment in every season God calls you to while remaining authentic in your faith, calling, and relationships.
This week, we're getting Between The Grooves with Michael and Sherrie Howell of The New Sound Is Family, a musical project they started with their kids Sarah and John Michael. Together they write and record music and travel the world leading worship and teaching at multi-generational gatherings and conferences. In the podcast, we talk about the "family band" dynamics and the importance of supporting your children's passions as parents. http://media.blubrry.com/faithstrongtoday/p/fst.mc.tritondigital.com/BETWEEN_THE_GROOVES_P/media/BTG-081-The_New_Sound_Is_Family_jan28-19.mp3
Everyone needs to belong. Everyone longs to be known and accepted. But often we slip into isolation because of past hurts. We reject the healing that God wants to bring us though the community called His Body. Pastors Derek and Sarah know all too well the dangers of isolation and the miracle of friendship that brings healing. Michael and Sherrie Howell are friends that have helped serve River Church by being lifelong friends to our pastors.
