A TONGUE IN CHEEK, CLEVER AND FUNNY TAKE ON POLITICS Frank Barnes, a former professor and senator from West Virginia, is running for president of the United States. Tired of the corruption and illegal acts perpetrated by the current president, he's determined to make a difference. Behind in the polls, Frank hasn't a ghost of a chance of winning, until a real ghost - the ghost of Theodore Roosevelt makes a startling appearance. A book bought for Frank's birthday, Alice in Wonderland, came from Teddy's personal library and his ghost is attached to that book. When the book is stolen by a rival candidate, Teddy must go to extreme lengths to get it back into Frank's hands. With Teddy's help, Frank's numbers begin rise in the polls, but not without hilarious and disastrous consequences.
With Teddy 2.0 being a master of the passive aggressive and Bernard heading to the pub for a drink with an old friend, there’s no better time to dissect Phase Space. This week Laura brings up a theory she feels strongly about (Garry and Mack do not), we try to work out the Man in Black’s motivations and whether or not Teddy is in this relationship for the long haul. With Teddy out of town, our old pal Leo Sanders filled in on the co-host duties while we talked with Zara Mizrahi about her childhood acting with Disney, her musical career, her standup comedy, and some awesome tidbits about clown school. We also riff along about relationships, and play another game of Google Feud.
With Teddy out of town this week, comedian Justin Rupple comes in to riff with Mitcz. Justin and Mitcz talk about their “man date” on Saturday night, including Justin making Mitcz blush from a heaping of praise. The conversation moves towards a discussion about the attractiveness of performers, and what all men would ideally want in life. We discuss actresses who avoid nude scenes and how the digital age is tricking us, and lastly Mitcz tells a story that shocks Justin into silence. Not for the squeamish.
