Gemeint ist Arthur Schönberg, sein engster Vertrauter über mehr als drei Jahrzehnte. Der Ingenieur Schönberg, Cousin des berühmten Komponisten Arnold Schönberg, stand zwar stets im Schatten Millers, war aber einer der wichtigsten Planungsingenieure in Deutschland. Zudem gilt er als Pionier bei der Einführung des elektrischen Kochens in deutschen Haushalten. Auch bei der Gründung, dem Auf- und dem Ausbau des Deutschen Museums in München spielte er eine wichtige Rolle. Wegen seiner jüdischen Herkunft wurde Schönberg stark angefeindet. Nach der sogenannten Machtergreifung durch die Nationalsozialisten wurde er zunehmend verfolgt, entrechtlicht und finanziell ausgebeutet. Eine Emigration scheiterte. Mit seiner Frau wurde er 1942 in das Ghetto Theresienstadt deportiert, wo beide bald darauf starben. Arthur Schönberg steht beispielhaft für den bis heute vernachlässigten Typus der „Akteure der zweiten Reihe“. Anhand seiner Person wird ersichtlich, welche Bedeutung und welchen Einfluss diese Akteure haben. Sie biografisch zu fassen, gestaltet sich wegen der schmalen Quellenlage als äußerst schwierig. Ce dernier raconte ensuite ses deux folles journées en volant, avec à la clé le record des 24 heures en Mini (352,59 milles, à 14,69 noeuds de moyenne), puis sa première sérieuse avarie en retombant d'une vague, avec la perte de son foil tribord et un trou dans la coque à combler. Mathis Bourgnon confie qu'il n'a alors pas vraiment réalisé que son concurrent était handicapé, plus focalisé sur son duel avec Alexandre Demange (DMG Mori Sailing Academy 2).Paul Cousin détaille quant à lui sa stratégie en ce début d'étape, avec une route sud que quasiment tous ont empruntée, mais qu'il fallait savoir doser, avant une seconde partie de transat qui a consisté à bien anticiper les rotations de l'alizé. Tell us about your Adventure!This past summer, 25 out of 29 of my cousins on my Mother's side  gathered in the beautiful family resort of Bertelson Corner out side of Bemidji, Minnesota, for a reunion that will be etched in our memories forever. The sun shone brightly, and laughter filled the air, creating the perfect backdrop for 5 days of fun, games, and family bonding. The excitement was palpable as cousins arrived from nearby states and even farther locations, each bringing unique stories and experiences. It was heartwarming to reconnect, reminisce about childhood adventures, and share updates about our lives. This gathering served as a powerful reminder of the strong family ties that bind us together.
