Our podcast provides updates on our preparation and progress toward becoming the first American Pairs to row across the North Atlantic Ocean in May of 2016. http://www.1000leagues.com
We know this much is true...we still have alot to do. But we only have 9 days left!!! Get 'er done!
Week 43 and only two weeks left until we leave for Cape Cod. We discuss our training row out on the Chesapeake Bay and some other stuff going on with us.
This is an interview with my sister, Chris, and our friend, Jennifer, who drove ten hours from Kentucky to be with Cindy and me for our boat christening on April 16th, 2016 at Old Dominion Boat Club (ODBC). It was a long day and we were quite punchy, plus my sister cracks me up sometimes, so we just went with it. Maybe this will tickle your funny bone as well...or just plain annoy you. Either way, thanks for listening! We actually recorded this entire podcast one time before this one, and were wrapping things up when I realized I had not click the record button, so we had to start the podcast over...but rather than get upset, my sister and friend Jennifer were great sports and turned the whole thing into a hilarious joke. They are great sports!
We update you on our progress as we prepare to row the North Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cod, MA to Ireland, is just over a month (May 16th week-ish).
Cindy and I are racing to get our boat ready for our trans-atlantic crossing. We hope to be racing gracefully, but our efforts are more akin to running with the bulls of Pamplona...
This is our 37th Weekly Update. Things are progressing well. From running to squats to sliding seats...it's all about the leg drive.
This week we've been busy working on the boat and in spreading the word about our project through various media channels.
This is our Week 35 Status Update. Did you know Firefly is back on Netflix??? We have 2 pair of oars now; we are starting to get some publicity; our Android Tracking App is in Beta; we are stoked and more! Follow us as we prepare to become the first American Pair to ever row across the North Atlantic Ocean, West to East.
