Taylor Dorsett grew up in Anderson, SC and while attending Anderson University was part of Far Sketched Comedy. He studied acting and eventually become an Alchemy Comedy member for few years. He eventually moved to Chicago to study at the Second City Conservatory. He now performs part time and uses his years of improv in everyday life as well as his job. Special guest host Dustin Bays joins Andrew Van over zoom.

Stand Up Meets Improv is Alchemy Comedy's stand up team that performs with no pre-written material. As random prompts come up on the screen, the improvisors come up with jokes on the spot. This show was originally recorded on July 31, 2020 over Zoom and Facebook Live.

Alchemy Comedy originated in September 2011, but it's history and how it became goes back beyond that. Andrew Van interviews the founding members, The Four Humors, Harrison Brookie, Jason Underwood, Meg Pierson, and Ben Burris on how they met and how did Alchemy Comedy start in Greenville, SC.
