God is using this time as a way to shake us up and ready us for His return. Even with all of this turmoil, we need to be the salt of the earth. The church can change the world and we have the power to do so. If we all came outside of the 4 walls and prayed, what would happen? Every person, in some way shape or form is affected by what is going on. The church is a place of healing and we are going to need to be ready to administer to people's needs. Let us come together and really hear our brothers and sisters, lets share their burdens, seek justice and pray. Do your part, whatever you can, to make an impact. Today’s episode was sparked by a conversation amongst friends. A group of us under 36 were gathered around the dinner table feasting on BBQ and the Word. And we got around to talking about having a personal relationship with Christ and its importance. We began to go into depth about worship. Im going to be transparent for a moment and let you all in on a secret. Sometimes I fall off in the discipline and consistency in my relationship with Christ. Furthermore, I think that I become so bogged down with life and all of its cares that I forget what I’m supposed to be doing. I also reject the idea that it should be a routine or mundane task that it loses the freshness and attractiveness to spend time with Him. I guess I am somewhat in a Catch 22, so this episode will help me first and then you.
