Punflay is responsible for a wealth of apps for Prek-High School in multiple formats ranging from books and games to edutainment. In addition to showcasing kid-friendly apps and talking about the design elements in creating apps for education and young children, we will also discuss how apps like frog and rat dissection can benefit children of all ages.

Futaba is part of the  InKids family of apps which currently features a list of 8 apps: Flashcards for iPad, Futaba Classroom Games, Puzzle Land, Math Champ, French for Kids, Chinese for Kids, Futaba Word Games, Alphabet Blocks 3D. The app are designed for both language learners and small children. In addition to showcasing kid-friendly apps and talking about the design elements in creating apps for education and young children, we will also discuss the pedgagogy of using the iPad with small children: multi-tasking, hands-on with parents, spotlight search, and learning on the go.

We will cover the idea of gaming in education as well as the process of student-created apps. (Check out their video series).
