It’s a simple concept that can be really interesting to try yourself or with a group of friends.This episodes beverage was Widmer Brothers, Tang-A-Rang. A tropical sour beer that was… decent. We aren’t huge fans of sours really it seems so this wasn’t our favorite. Lend us your ears you lovers of beers! This week on Around The Tap, Katie and I just kind of hang out and chat. Nothing specific going on but it was kind of a nice change of pace. Hopefully you think so too. This week we drank Omission Brewing’s Crisp and Light Gluten Free beer. It was a fairly average tasting beer but I think that is what it’s trying to be so we will give credit where credit is due. That being said, the taste was fairly bland and wasn’t anything super special so we rated it a 3.5/5. Something I’d share with a friend who needed it but I don’t think I’ll be buying it again just for drinking sake. You ever get so mad you just gotta fire off some verbal shots and get something off your chest? Yea us too. That’s where shots fired will be coming in. After that we play some mad libs and Katie can’t stop laughing at the end.This episodes beverage was Ace: Pear Cider and it was surprisingly good. Now I’m usually a fan of drier ciders and this one certainly heirs on the side of sweet. Today’s beverage was Avid Blackberry Cider. Overall it was a decent cider. Not too sweet and not too dry. But I feel like it was lacking a little bit more carbonation that I would have wanted. The Oregon zoo is a fantastic zoo by our standards and really does care about giving these animals what they need while also trying to cut back on their waste.
