The Neue Klasse flagship uses sixth-generation eDrive tech and a 108.7 kWh battery, charges at up to 400 kW to add 373 km (231 miles) in ten minutes, and starts at €73,925 ($85,200) in Germany for the iX3 50 xDrive with up to 805 km (500 miles) of WLTP range.BMW TO BUILD IX5 BATTERY PACKS IN SOUTH CAROLINABMW will begin mass production of iX5 high-voltage battery packs in December at its new Plant Woodruff in South Carolina, near Plant Spartanburg where the iX5 is assembled, keeping pack assembly in-house to build a local supply chain, cut geopolitical risk and reduce logistics costs. AESC, now majority-owned by China's Envision Group, supplies the 120 mm cylindrical cells — which deliver 30% more usable energy than the iX3's 95 mm cells — giving the US iX5 a 144 kWh pack (141 kWh in Europe), an estimated 435 miles of range, 460 kW peak charging and a 10-80% charge in 22 minutes.ZEEKR 9X ARRIVES IN EUROPEZeekr has launched the 9X Ultra 6-Seater in Europe as a luxury SUV and its first Super Hybrid, pairing a 900V dual-motor system with a 2.0-litre turbo engine used purely as a generator for 897 horsepower, 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, up to 737 km of range and a 10-80% DC charge in 9.5 minutes. Designed in Gothenburg with adaptive air suspension and CDC dampers, it offers reclining, massaging first and second rows, an onboard refrigerator, a ceiling-mounted 17-inch 3K OLED screen and a 32-speaker Naim system, and marks Zeekr's fifth European model in three years across 16 markets.SK ON AND FACTORIAL TARGET SOLID-STATE SCALESK On and Factorial Energy have partnered to push solid-state batteries towards production, combining Factorial's FEST cell technology with SK On's manufacturing network to tackle the scaling problem that has held back a chemistry promising higher energy density, longer range and faster charging than lithium-ion. Factorial is already testing cells in North America and has integrated them into Stellantis' Dodge Charger Daytona prototype, claiming 375 Wh/kg energy density, while its work with Mercedes-Benz produced a modified EQS that covered over 745 miles on a single charge.TESLA SHIP LOAD SETS SHANGHAI RECORDThe Chinese-built car carrier Glovis Nova loaded 7,738 electric vehicles — all Tesla Model 3 and Model Y cars — at Shanghai's South Port Terminal on Sunday, a domestic record for a single voyage, and set sail for Zeebrugge, Belgium, for distribution across Europe. The 10,800-car vessel and its sister ship Glovis Leader, which berthed the same day before heading to Busan, were built by Guangzhou Shipyard International, a China State Shipbuilding Corporation subsidiary, and rank among the largest of their kind in the world.NORWAY LEADS GLOBAL EV ADOPTION INDEXNorway tops the latest Global EV Adoption Index with 73.2 out of 100, ahead of Denmark on 64.7 and China on 64.5, backed by a 92% EV sales share in 2024, 32 public chargers per 1,000 battery vehicles and 41.9% fast-charger coverage. Denmark climbed 40 percentage points since 2020 to a 56% sales share with 73 chargers per 1,000 EVs, China recorded a 48% share and 103 chargers per 1,000 vehicles, and Tesla led brand interest across 75 countries with 71.6 million Google queries in the past year.MITSUBISHI RETURNS TO NORTH AMERICA WITH LEAF EVMitsubishi will re-enter the North American EV market with the 2027 Eclipse Sportback EV, on sale in the US and Canada by late summer or early fall of 2026 through around 300 dealerships. Billed as all-new, it is in fact based on the next-generation Nissan Leaf via the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, sharing its 75 kWh liquid-cooled battery, native NACS port, Supercharger access and 150 kW charging (10-80% in about 35 minutes) beneath new fascias, lighting and alloys, with range and pricing still undisclosed.LEPAS L8 TARGETS EUROPE ON VALUEChery has launched the Lepas L8, a D-segment family SUV priced from £34,900 to £37,900, using the upmarket Lepas brand to challenge BMW and Volkswagen on space, equipment and price alongside stablemates such as the Jaecoo 7, Omoda 7 and Chery Tiggo 8. Power comes from Chery's Super Hybrid system combining a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor and 18.4 kWh battery, while the cabin offers an upmarket feel, generous tech, vast rear legroom and headroom despite the panoramic roof, and a 507-litre boot comparable to a Nissan Qashqai's.KERBSIDE CHARGING SEARCHES JUMP AS EV COST SCRUTINY GROWSVertu reports that searches for "kerbside EV charging" rose 125% over the past three months while searches for "cheapest EV tariff" climbed 173%, suggesting buyers are weighing access and running costs together before switching. The trend matters because government figures published in 2024 found 40% of UK households have no access to off-street parking, leaving a large share of the market dependent on public charging and highly sensitive to the cost of every kilowatt-hour.PRINCE AL WALEED RAISES LUCID STAKEPrince Al Waleed bin Talal's investment office bought just over 19 million Lucid shares, lifting his stake to about 5% according to an SEC filing, with the prince saying he bought when Lucid's market cap was below $2 billion following speculation — since denied by Lucid — about bankruptcy or a take-private deal. The purchase, which Lucid welcomed as an independent vote of confidence, comes as the company restructures under new CEO Silvio Napoli after cutting 18% of staff in June on top of an earlier 12% lay-off, and adds to Saudi ownership alongside the Public Investment Fund's roughly 60% stake held since the 2021 SPAC merger.

We're back with some more Gilmore Girls! Join us in this journey on social media - @gilmorethemerrierpod. ABOUT: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 14) Christopher and girlfriend Sherry visit Stars Hollow. Lorelai brings Christopher to her parents' Friday night dinner, potentially stirring up family dynamics and past feelings. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 14) February 12, 2002 | The WB CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 14) Lauren Graham as Lorelai Gilmore Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore BRAN'S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 14) SYNOPSIS Lorelai and Rory get to Luke's and no one is there! Just one of those lulls. Rory tells Lorelai about her debate competition this week. Lane calls Rory at the diner. Naturally, Lane can see the diner with a telescope from her room where she is stuck cuz she's grounded. They head home to watch some random British baking show called Two Fat Ladies, but they're interrupted by Paris who showed up because she thinks Rory needs more practice on the debate competition. Lorelai gets a call from Christopher. Turns out he's close by and she invites him to come to the debate competition. He says he'll be there. The next day, Rory walks by a payphone and naturally Lane calls it and asks her to pick up a new single for her. Lane is not well. It's debate time! The topic is a light one - doctor assisted suicide. They do a coin flip to decide who is pro or con. Paris picks pro. Christopher shows up….with another woman! Chilton wins. Afterwards, Lorelai and Sookie go to meet Christopher's girlfriend, Sherry. Lorelai and Rory come up with a game plan on how to handle this unexpected visit and they invite them home. Before they leave, Paris asks Rory to hang out and celebrate but she can't, which really upsets Paris if you can believe it. Sherry pulls Lorelai aside and is like you don't have to get to know me. Just because we've both had a relationship with Christopher doesn't mean we have to be friends. But she really wants to get to know Rory and asks if they can hang out tonight even though it's Friday night dinner. Lorelai is like uhhh sure. Lorelai talks to Rory and Rory says she's fine hanging out with Sherry. Lorelai asks if Christopher wants to come to dinner and he's like it's good grub, why not. They get to dinner, and when Emily hears that Rory is just having this night with Sherry, she's not thrilled and starts to interrogate Christopher about this Sherry. Then Rory bursts out that she doesn't think Emily should miss Friday night dinners unless she's sick and storms out. Lorelai goes after her and Emily says it should've been you! When Christopher finally got his life together, he should've been with you! To make matters worse, Emily blames Lorelai for everything. She says she's gonna go lay down. The next morning, Lorelai and Rory meet up at Luke's. Lorelai begs Rory for all the Sherry deets. And she gives her ALLLLL the deets including how Sherry wants kids. Lorelai asks Rory if she ever hoped that she and Christopher would get together. Rory says sure I've pictured you being with dad but I've also pictured you being with Pee-wee Herman and living in his playhouse. Before they can get back to the serious convo, Rory has to run out to watch and make sure the plan to get Lane her CD works, including Kirk stopping Mrs. Kim to talk and Michel jogging by and dropping the CD in the bag. Back at Luke's, Sherry and Christopher come by to say goodbye. Sherry leaves to say goodbye to Rory and Christopher apologizes to Lorelai for last night. Lorelai says I realized something last night - all these years, I always had you in the back of my mind. The prospect of us being together. I think I subconsciously sabotaged every relationship I've ever been in because I knew you were always there. Now that I know you're not, I can move on. Believe it or not, Christopher doesn't handle that well. He says don't put that on me. You're dumping 15 years of being unhappy on me. Don't blame me. This blowup is loud and naturally Luke watches and does nothing. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? The EU just fined Google €890M for making it hard to steer users to cheaper web stores — another crack in the 30% wall, and genuinely good news for every developer. That's the lead of a quieter, summer-holiday news week, with Felix flying solo while Matej and Jakub are at ChinaJoy.Felix Braberg walks two stories and a charts tour. First, the European Commission fined Google €890M (split €460M + €430M) under the Digital Markets Act for antitrust practices — preventing developers from freely informing users about cheaper offers and steering them to web stores or third-party channels. Google has 60 days to comply or face periodic penalties of up to 5% of worldwide turnover (~$403B), and it's another blow in the slow unwinding of the 30% app-store tax that companies like FastSpring exist to route around. Second, a Seeking Alpha analysis argues the market keeps underestimating AppLovin: the stock came under pressure in 2026 (swept up in the "SaaS apocalypse" sell-off after the CloudX agentic-buying launch), but the fundamentals are strong, the gaming runway is bigger than assumed, and as the dominant mediation player (AppLovin Max), it holds a structural advantage. Then the US charts: Smash Fest (Flow Games, Turkey) is now #1 in free downloads — beating Roblox — followed by Meow Doku and Vita Mahjong (same studio), with the standout story being that a copycat of Smash Fest (Royal Smash by Cypher Games) has itself cracked the top six out of ~70 clones. Plus Level Devil sold and scaling under new ownership, EA Sports FC still strong post-World Cup, and Turkey vs China duking it out for chart dominance. The through-line of a quiet week: the 30% tax keeps cracking, AppLovin keeps winning, and the copycat economy is faster and more brutal than ever.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⏱️ TIMESTAMPS00:00 Solo news week — Matej and Jakub at ChinaJoy00:40 Google fined €890M under the Digital Markets Act04:00 Why it's another crack in the 30% wall05:00 AppLovin: why the market keeps underestimating it07:30 US charts — Smash Fest beats Roblox08:30 The copycat that cracked the top six10:00 Level Devil sold, EA Sports FC, and Turkey vs China---------------------------------------This is no BS gaming podcast 2.5 gamers session.

New Work in Deutschland steht.

Musikfest Preview Night arrives Thursday, July 30, followed by 10 days of music, food, art and nearly unavoidable reunions throughout Bethlehem from Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 9. For the fifth annual Mayor's Musikfest Preview Podcast, we set up at StadtPlatz outside Bethlehem City Hall with Mayor J. William Reynolds and eight guests who plan the festival, perform on its stages, volunteer behind the scenes and help create the community around it. The 43rd Musikfest features more than 400 performers and 500 performances across 16 stages, 15 of which are free. Mayor Reynolds described Musikfest as a shared experience that cannot be recreated through a screen. “You can't one-up somebody else's experience. What happens there is that it brings people together, and it shows us what's possible when we're focused on people.” Building a temporary city ArtsQuest President and CEO Kassie Hilgert started with the people responsible for turning more than 50 acres of Bethlehem into the country's largest free music festival. “It takes 5,000 people to put this festival up and to tear it down. You've got volunteers that are taking 10 days from their vacation time at work to support this festival.” Hilgert also made a direct appeal for people to support the vendors, restaurants, hotels, artists and cultural organizations that keep events like Musikfest alive. Patrick Brogan, ArtsQuest's Chief Programming Officer, said more than 2,000 artists applied to perform this year. The final program includes 417 artists presenting 512 sets, with roughly one-third of the festival changing each year. His advice is simple: “Follow your ears through the festival.” Turn a corner, stop at an unfamiliar stage and stay long enough to find the artist who could become your next favorite. “The soundtrack of Bethlehem” Miguel Perez-Soto has experienced Musikfest as an ArtsQuest board member, a musician, a B. Braun Medical employee and a supporter who has been attending for 25 years. He has also watched Musikfest and ArtsQuest's year-round programming grow to represent more of the cultures found throughout Bethlehem. “Musikfest is the soundtrack of Bethlehem. We're going to have a great time doing this for the next 10 days, but throughout the year, Bethlehem always has the initiative to reinvent itself and put events together for the entire family, for the entire community.” A place where everyone can Fest Richard Liu helped lead the creation of SoberPlatz, the inclusive alcohol-free space that returns to the SouthSide for its second year. Located near Americaplatz and the Flywheel, SoberPlatz offers room to relax, activities, recovery resources and a community that does not revolve around drinking. Everyone is welcome. The only request is that visitors not bring alcohol into the space. Liu shared the response that showed exactly why SoberPlatz was needed. “I've had people tell me they didn't feel like they could Fest until SoberPlatz was there.” For Liu, Musikfest ultimately comes back to people. “It's the volunteers that I see year after year and become friends with. It's the friendships with performers who come back year after year. It's the community members who I see and become friends with. It's the people.” Learn more about SoberPlatz and its 2026 activities. Community voices and volunteers WDIY Executive Director Margaret McConnell described the station as another community organization powered largely by volunteers. WDIY was built by community members who wanted their own radio station. Its programming still reflects that original mission. “Picking hand-curated music, no algorithms involved. Very little automation. This is really led by this community, for this community.” ArtsQuest ambassador-level volunteer Robin Sherrerd has poured beer, sold tickets, worked with the Eco Squad and served as a site supervisor. “I worked my way up to site supervisor and enjoyed every bit of it because of the camaraderie that we have with all of the other volunteers.” Those relationships continue after the tents come down. Sherrerd said many volunteers have become friends who see one another and spend time together throughout the year. Two Bethlehem artists step onto the stage Bethlehem country artist Lilly Moss opens for Russell Dickerson at the Wind Creek Steel Stage on Friday, July 31. She returns Sunday, August 2 for a free Main Street performance. Two years ago, Moss opened a fortune cookie while attending the Maren Morris concert at Musikfest. “I opened a fortune cookie and it said, ‘You will make a name for yourself.'” She kept and framed the fortune. Now she plans to carry it onto the largest stage she has ever played. Moss said she no longer becomes more nervous as the crowds grow. “As the crowds get bigger, I get more excited. I feed off the energy and the adrenaline.” Jenny Founds performs with Ruby Dear at Zinzenplatz from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 2. The Bethlehem alternative-rock trio is expanding for a special Ruby Dear Big Band performance featuring additional musicians from Start Making Sense. Founds performs original music with Ruby Dear and Talking Heads music with Start Making Sense. She sees value in both. “I've had people come up to me and say, ‘I've never heard you before, but I can relate to your lyrics, and I've never felt seen like that.' So both are valid, and both give opportunities to musicians.” A free Musikfest stage gives original artists something particularly valuable: people who were walking past, heard something interesting and decided to enter the tent. The Musikfest must-do list Mayor Reynolds and George also shared a few rules for getting the most out of Musikfest: Put the phone away. Spend time with someone you unexpectedly run into. Buy at least one thing. Watch an artist perform original music. Show someone your favorite Musikfest spot. Try a food you are not completely sure about. Leave one night open and see where Musikfest takes you. Musikfest Preview Night is Thursday, July 30. The full festival runs Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 9. It's Marvel Monday and we're meeting the Eternals! ABOUT ETERNALS The saga of the Eternals, a race of immortal beings who lived on Earth and shaped its history and civilizations. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR ETERNALS November 5, 2021 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF ETERNALS Director: Chloé Zhao Writers: Chloé Zhao, Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo Cast: Gemma Chan as Sersi Richard Madden as Ikaris Angelina Jolie as Thena Salma Hayek as Ajak Kit Harington as Dane Whitman Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo Lia McHugh as Sprite Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos Lauren Ridloff as Makkari Barry Keoghan as Druig Ma Dong-seok as Gilgamesh Harish Patel as Karun Bill Skarsgård as Kro Harry Styles as Eros BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS This movie starts off with too many words. But no fun music like Star Wars, so I didn't read it. Cut to a triangle flying close to something that looks like the sun. Inside, these folks in funny robes stand back against a wall when a voice says it is time. This gold stuff turns into their suits. Apparently they don't know each other. It's 5000 BC in Mesopotamia and a crazy sea monster eats this kid's dad. Suddenly, this superhero flies in and takes that monster down. We see the other heroes take down other monsters. We got a group of 10 superheroes on our hands. They stand in V formation and wait for the people to thank them. One of the heroes leans down and hands a kid a knife. Here's who we have: Ikaris: basically Superman Sersi: can like mess with matter Thena: creates a weapon out of pure cosmic energy Kingo: laser fingers Phastos: creates advanced weapons and technology Makkari: basically the Flash Druig: mind control Gilgamesh: Hulk but not green Sprite: can change the appearance of things and appears as a child Ajak: the spiritual leader and healer who serves as the primary communicator with their Celestial creator Cut to present day and that knife is in a museum as an artifact that shaped history. The Eternals are still alive, cuz they're eternal. Sersi and Sprite live together in London. Ikaris left her without explanation centuries earlier. She's moved on and is now in a relationship with human Dane. When the trio is attacked by a monster like in the beginning. They're called Deviants. Ikaris arrives just in time to save the day. The Eternals were under the assumption there were no more Deviants. Which is why the Eternals haven't been in action for the past 500 years. We see a flashback of when Sersi and Ikaris got together…and I mean got together. #NotMyMarvel. They end up getting married. Back in the present, the 3 Eternals make it to South Dakota expecting to meet up with Ajak, only to find her dead. So it's time to get the band back together to figure out what to do next. Sersi is the new leader and meets with Arishem - the Celestial that sent the Eternals to Earth. Sersi learns that the Eternals' mission was actually to prepare Earth for the Emergence of a new Celestial. See, for millions of years, he has been planting Celestial seeds inside planets where the energy from large populations allows new Celestials to be born. The Deviants were sent to destroy the apex predators of each planet to ensure the development of intelligent life, but the Deviants evolved and started eating said intelligent life. So he created the Eternals to fight them. Now that the population of humans has reached the necessary size to allow the new Celestial to be born, Earth will be no more. Sersi doesn't love this and tells everyone else. Everyone is down to stop the plan. Everyone except for Ikaris. We find out that Ajak wanted to stop the Emergence and save humanity, so he led her to the Deviants and allowed them to kill her. Sprite joins Ikaris cuz she's in love with Ikaris while Kingo chooses to leave, agreeing with Ikaris but not wanting to hurt his friends. The crew reflects on celebrity encounters with New York Knicks players, Spike Lee, Ryan Clark, Terence Crawford, and other notable figures [ 01:43 ], while discussing standout sponsor activations and brand partnerships throughout the convention [ 03:05 ]. A debate follows over a photo opportunity involving Terence Crawford, leading into a broader conversation about celebrity interactions, optics, and fan expectations [ 06:02 ]. The discussion then pivots to the controversy surrounding Toast on Lenox after the popular Atlanta restaurant posted a smiling photo with Georgia Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson, sparking accusations of political endorsement [ 07:51 ]. The hosts examine whether taking a photo with a politician automatically signals support, while debating the importance of political due diligence, transparency, and how quickly public perception can shape online narratives. They also unpack the unintended consequences of boycotts targeting Black-owned businesses, discussing the ripple effects on employees, customers, and local communities [ 14:15 ]. Returning to Fanatics Fest, the crew reacts to the viral moment in which Tom Brady appeared to slap Logan Paul, questioning whether the exchange was genuine or carefully orchestrated entertainment [ 27:59 ]. That conversation evolves into a discussion about kayfabe, wrestling culture, and influencer-driven publicity stunts [ 29:16 ], before examining how the Paul brothers have mastered content creation and viral marketing [ 31:53 ]. They continue breaking down the Brady-Paul moment [ 33:22 ], while sharing lighter conversations about professional wrestling fandom, celebrity crushes, tequila, and the overall culture surrounding Fanatics Fest [ 34:12 ][ 35:18 ]. The final segment turns toward one of the week's most polarizing topics as the hosts react to the Combs twins launching a clothing line while publicly supporting their incarcerated father, Sean "Diddy" Combs [ 38:02 ]. The conversation explores the difficult balance between family loyalty and personal accountability, questioning how loved ones navigate public support during serious legal controversies [ 40:40 ]. The discussion continues after DJ Webstar reveals that Cassie unfollowed him following his decision to write a character letter on Diddy's behalf, prompting a broader debate about whether friends should publicly defend individuals accused of abuse [ 49:58 ]. The episode concludes with a thoughtful conversation about domestic violence, self-defense, accountability, and the responsibilities that come with using one's platform during sensitive situations [ 56:43 ], before wrapping up with the team's closing reflections and final thoughts [ 01:07:17 ]. Balancing humor, cultural commentary, and nuanced discussion, this bonus episode tackles the complex intersections of celebrity, politics, business, and personal responsibility. It's time for another truly insane Festive Friday movie! ABOUT A CHRISTMAS SNOWED IN WITH A PRINCE During a freak blizzard, a remote British lodge is shut down with just two guests: Ellie, a sarcastic travel blogger, and a handsome, overly polite guest who's definitely not from around here. Turns out, he's Prince Alaric, stranded while trying to escape royal duties. With only each other and no Wi-Fi, sparks (and snowballs) fly. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR A CHRISTMAS SNOWED IN WITH A PRINCE December 8, 2025 | Streaming CAST & CREW OF A CHRISTMAS SNOWED IN WITH A PRINCE Director: E J Marshall Writer: Craig McLearie Cast: Faith Kiggundu as Ellie Christian Ndonda as Prince Alaric BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS This movie is 1hr and 11 minutes and you'd think that would mean they'd get right to it. Wrong!! We see scenery for a while. Suddenly, we're in the woods. We meet Ellie. She's a travel blogger who is trying to find this remote lodge. She walks around in the woods for a longgg time, saying things like "oh no" and looking at a map. She finally finds a lodge and when she walks in, she sees a guy. He's very confused by this check in book thing. So she helps him. His name is Alaric. When the lodge owner shows up, she assumes they're together. Ellie explains she's trying to find the wellness retreat. Turns out she's way lost and with the big storm hitting, she's gonna have to stay the night. The internet is down so she has to pay cash for the room which she doesn't have, so Alaric pays for her room. She's very annoyed by Alaric but when he says he doesn't know how to cook, she offers to make them dinner. They eat and talk. He doesn't know what a blog is. It's a whole thing. Suddenly, another couple shows up. They met at the lodge decades ago and come every year. But the lodge has slowly become less popular. They decide to all decorate the lodge together. Martha shows back up for some reason. She's grumpy. The next morning, Alaric tries to make breakfast and it's an absolute disaster. Ellie comes in and is both horrified and charmed. She encourages him to loosen up with the way he talks. But they're having a good time hanging out. She tries to get to know him more - where he's from, why he talks this way, etc. He's not having it. He thinks she's gonna use it in one of her stories. So they get in a snowball fight. He opens up about his troubles with his family. They don't see eye to eye. They all sit down to eat together but first, Christmas crackers. In his cracker is a paper crown which makes him real upset and he storms off. She goes to calm him down and tells him how nice this trip has been because of him. He finally tells her that he is a Prince, but he doesn't want to be. She agrees to keep his secret. Later that night, they talk some more and end up kissing big ones under the mistletoe. The next day, THEY FOUND ALARIC! Ellie wants to go with him but he says it won't be safe. He says his goodbyes and leaves. Ellie is finally able to make it home. She's feeling sad, so she goes onto her blog to read some good comments and respond to some comments about how amazing she is. She starts to write blogs called The Prince and the Nobody. And it starts blowing up. She gets a call from a publisher who wants to publish a book version. I'm unsure of the timeline but it seems like the book comes out and it's a smash hit. She wants to go back to the lodge to have a book reading. Alaric shows up and tells her that he's denounced his title and wants to be with her. They kiss and decide to spend Christmas together at the lodge. It's Tuesday which means there's a new Hallmark movie to review! ABOUT SNOWBOUND FOR THE HOLIDAYS A ski lodge owner faces financial ruin and possible loss of his family's mountain retreat. As he grapples with mounting debt, a savvy hotel executive arrives to assess the property, setting the stage for an unexpected holiday adventure. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR SNOWBOUND FOR THE HOLIDAYS July 18, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF SNOWBOUND FOR THE HOLIDAYS Director: Christopher Giroux Writers: Courtney McAllister, Tim Stubinski Cast: Vanessa Lengies as Cassidy Evergreen Marcus Rosner as Trey Sanderson BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS Trey Sanderson runs a ski lodge but still finds time to get out there on the slopes. Trey is a unique fella who still prefers to listen to his tunes with a Walkman and crappy headphones. We then meet Cassidy Evergreen who helps run hotels with her bossy mom. She wants to be VP of Operations. Her mom is like nah. You don't have what it takes. You're not tough enough. Plus, she spends money on custom ornaments. That's not what executives do. Cassidy says well how about I go assess a property and show you I have what it takes to make big decisions. Of course, that property happens to be a certain ski lodge. Trey's father-in-law, Sam, who Trey runs the lodge with, tells him that he's ready to retire and he thinks they should consider selling to a dude named Asherton. Trey isn't having it. He's not ready to give up on this place. Cassidy shows up and checks in and is immediately charmed by Trey's daughter, Lilly. Speaking of Trey, the lights flicker and he ends up bumping into Cassidy, spilling her hot chocolate all over the floor. Talk about a meet cute! It doesn't take Cassidy long to realize that this place is struggling. The snowmobiles aren't working. And to make matters worse, the power goes out. And we're only a few days from Christmas Fest! Trey realizes who Cassidy is and is quickly annoyed by how much she pipes in with her thoughts and opinions. She overhears him talking to Sam about how he doesn't want to sell. She says I want to help you save your lodge by making Christmas Fest bigger and better than ever and maybe get it into some new technology in the process. She starts opening up to him about how she feels like her mom doesn't really believe in her. And he opens up to her about the loss of his wife. She tells him that if he does need to sell, he could also work into the deal that he needs to stay on and keep the staff. They go out tubing together and when they get back to the lodge, she's shocked to see that her mom showed up. Clearly she doesn't trust her to do this on her own! Her mom hears about what she's doing and tells her if you're banking on Christmas Fest saving the day, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Turns out, her mom actually went to the lodge as a kid, every year for 10 years. That explains why she and Sam were flirty flirty the night before. After dancing to some music on his tape player the night before she's supposed to leave, they end up ALMOSTTTT kissing, but are interrupted by his daughter. They go to a Christmas lantern event and almost kiss again. They say their goodbyes and it's very sweet but she ends up missing her flight! So she gets to stay a little longer which gives her this idea - Evergreen should buy the lodge. She knows that this Asherton guy is a bad guy. Before she can talk to them, Asherton shows up and is like the mountain is mine baby! Cassidy runs in and is like no it's not, cuz we just bought it! Trey does not take any of this well. She goes after him and is like I know it looks like I went behind your back but I promise we just wanted to save the lodge.
