We all need to heal and there are so many ways to do this; the most important thing is that we start and on Bêt Talk, we will do this one honest, raw and tough conversation at a time. We can do this! We have the ability, the willingness and now the place
Hello Beteseb! Happy New Year! On this episode, host Bethlehem Bekele is discussing the fine line between compromise and sacrifice. - What is healthy compromise? - What should we not compromise on? - Why do we have a difficult time knowing the difference between compromise and sacrifice? - How do we compromise without sacrificing ourselves? Join our social media community on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube under KinetBet. Thank you for listening and please let us know your thoughts and feedbacks.
Mom guilt is REAL and has so many stages. We expect ourselves to show up a certain way and put pressure on ourselves to be someone or do something different for those we love, leaving ourselves and our need to be in alignment behind in the process. Mom guilt is dangerous but it is possible to overcome.
- What is compassionate curiosity? - What does compassionate curiosity look like on our healing journey? - Who can benefit from it? - How can we implement a compassionately curious method into our daily lives? Only through conscience, active and intentional means can we truly heal. Identifying a crucial concern/issue will help us identify and implement the right method to solve the issue and propel us further into our healing journey. Let's chat, come on in, Beteseb/family! It's a safe space here. Would appreciate you sharing your experience with me via email: info@KinetBet.com. Be well!
On the first of its kind, on Fridays we will share personal stories that focus on healing. On this episode, I'll share with you where my healing journey began, some of the lessons I learned along the way and challenge you to check with yourself. You will hear: - My experiences of living in New York City and it's impacts - When we are running towards something, we're usually running away from something. - Understand that fear will sneak up on you when you least expect it. - The need to not disappoint those who sacrificed for you and what our response should be. - Reminder that you are responsive for slowing down, taking a deep breath and aligning yourself with your inner self (mind, heart, spirit). Will have Action Items as well and they are focused (of course) on healing. While you're listening, please take deep breaths! If you're being triggered, please stop listening recenter yourself.
The Healing Journey! We've been hearing so much about it and I've been talking about it on various platforms but what does it REALLY look like? What's needed? If you are on a healing journey, this will resinate with you; if you're just about to start, this will be a great guide. Healing is a journey - one that is fueled with compassion and love. Let us learn to be compassionate with ourselves so we can be compassionate with one another. Healing starts with us and then it expands outwards but not because we're forcing it; it's because our inner light will just naturally shine as we start breaking the various walls we've built over the years (due to trauma, pain, grief, etc.). But do not worry about shinning outward and changing the world - just focus on changing the world within yourself and the rest of us will fill it too! Take a listen as the Healing Journey is broken down! Write down your answers to the Action Items and know that you are doing an amazing job!!! Please share your thoughts with me; was this helpful? Did you find value in it? What are your thoughts? You can also reach me on my social media: FB, IG, Twitter, Clubhouse - KinetBet. Website: KinetBet.com Also, download and share these podcasts and of course, don't forget to follow the podcast. I love you! Bethlehem Bekele

Let's shift our view on accepting what is. It is possible, natural and we can do it!
We see our loved ones' greatness and light but do we see our own greatness and light? How can we shift this part of our culture? Let's discuss.
Oh my! We're finally live! Wanted to say “Selam Beteseb / hello family” so you know who I am and what this journey will look like.
