It questions the viability of using bunker busters on deep underground facilities, noting concerns over effectiveness and US involvement risks. The episode critiques political leadership in Israel regarding security breaches and praises President Trump's preference for negotiations over military conflict. Emphasizing peace through strength, it also raises issues with US intelligence failures and calls for transparency to prevent global tensions. ------------------------------------------------- Dr. Keith Rose discusses Israel's successful military actions against Iran, employing cyber and drone tactics that proved more effective than initially expected. In contrast, the US military-industrial complex and Biden administration took a different approach, which may have been less strategic. Iran responded with limited missile attacks, revealing vulnerabilities exposed by Israel's operations. The potential use of a bunker buster weapons is questioned for its effectiveness against such a deeply underground facility and the risks of revealing US involvement. The host critiques political dynamics within Israel, particularly leadership issues near Gaza. President Trump is praised for preferring negotiations over war, aligning with a peace-through-strength strategy. Intelligence failures regarding Iran's nuclear capabilities are highlighted, linked to concerns about a "deep state" undermining Trump, suggesting reforms in national security. --- Connect with The Scalpel: Website: https://scalpeledge.com Email: KFR@scalpeledge.com TruthSocial: @scalpeledge Rumble: @TheScalpel X: @TheScalpelEdge Instagram: @TheScalpelPodcast /// The Scalpel is proud to partner with Brickhouse Nutrition. Breaking Down The Karen Read Trial From 2 Perspectives With Bob Motta & Tony Brueski In this must‑watch episode of Hidden Killers, veteran defense attorney Bob Motta and true crime host Tony Brueski team up for a rare, civil‑conversation style breakdown of the Karen Read verdict. Motta insists Karen is innocent, pointing to forensic flaws, DNA ambiguity, and a possible blackout memory gap—while Brueski argues it was likely a tragic accident, not manslaughter, and points to injury patterns consistent with an unintended collision. We dive deep into: Legal strategy: Why Motta shifted from “voicemail rage” theory to a psychological blackout defense Forensic details: Spatter, impact analysis, shoe‑DNA, and accident reconstruction Psychological elements: Karen's inconsistent statements, possible dissociation under stress, and mental health triggers True crime hooks: Did the jury buy the deception or the defense's blackout narrative? However, several Indigenous, environmentalist, and other underrepresented Canadian groups are speaking out against the speed at which it's being passed, and the lack of power their voices have in the process. Host Maria Kestane speaks to Sonia Aslam, 1130 NewsRadio Vancouver journalist about what these groups are calling on the Carney government to do, and the potential outcomes that could arise if Bill C-5 gets passed by July 1. She talks about how she learned to value rest, set boundaries and get 10 hours of sleep a day – and the moment she decided to pass the leadership torch for the organization's next phase. Her non-profit Period, one that got started distributing menstrual pads to the homeless in San Francisco, and her current startup August, a menstruation care brand, both deal with tackling access to women's health products, health equity and ending period poverty. She discusses the unique challenges leaders face in this space and the boundary pushing ways she leverages social media and grassroots organizing to bridge gaps in awareness and funding and drive positive conversations and change. She also shares her lessons from her work in non-profits, policy work and startups on how any leader can be more accountable to what their organization needs right now. Using a recent viral exchange between a beat writer and a fan as a jumping-off point, Ryan dismantles some of the more extreme claims—like Keyshawn Nixon being CB1 as a problem, Rashan Gary being overpaid, and Caleb Williams “dog walking” the Packers defense. Ryan walks listeners through the data, challenges faulty narratives, and even gets a bit philosophical about the culture of constant negativity in the fanbase. Plus, shoutouts to Malik Turner for his big UFL moment and Christian Watson for the growing family! Welcome back to another episode of Fratello On Air! We've been away for a while, but we're here and talking about new releases. In particular, we're discussing the barrage of dive watch announcements from multiple brands. As always, expect candid commentary and a bit of fun! That's right — we're back! Over the last several weeks, we've been traveling and engaging in watch-related activities such as get-togethers and brand events. We mention some of these and, naturally, we engage in a bit of banter. Then, we discuss a handful of new dive watch introductions.HandgelenkskontrolleWhew, it is sweltering in our respective recording sites! Still, we're at the microphones for an hour talking about watches and more! We mention recent activities such as Balazs' trip to Los Angeles and Mike's visit to Manchester. Each of us had a great time connecting with friends and listeners. Regarding the Handgelenkskontrolle, Balazs is the proud new owner of a Ming 22.01 GMT Kyoto. He's in the honeymoon phase with the watch and is enjoying it immensely. Mike is off to an event for London Watch Week after the show and is wearing his silver-dialed Heuer Carrera 2447S.The dive watch strikes back — or does it?The hot weather has brought the dive watch back into focus after a cold and gloomy winter. Brands seem to be taking note because some significant releases were announced over the past month. We discuss these and give our honest opinions on each. The following watches are in focus:Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 38mmGirard-Perregaux Deep Diver Legacy EditionTudor Black Bay 54 "Lagoon Blue"Breitling SuperOcean HeritageSeiko 5 SRPL91 / 93 "Gene Kranz"Yes, it was a bumper month for the dive watch. Some of the watches are critical to the brand's success, so did they nail the release or not? Listen in and hear our thoughts! As always, thank you for listening to Fratello On Air!
