The more content there is that uplifts, edifies, and speaks truth, the more opportunities are created for us to connect with God and each other. Every day I put out content that is a little bit of my perspective on the gospel of Jesus Christ, a lot bit doctrine, a little bit my life as a High School…
Hey y'all! Thanks for clicking on this podcast to see what it’s all about!I know that there are now A TON of podcasts out there, so I know one question that is on your mind is “What makes this one so different than the other podcasts?”Well for one, this podcast is what I and maybe others would call a “religious-themed” podcast. Yes, it is more of a Christian-based podcast. I am a teacher of religion at a high school level. This podcast is meant for me to, again, hopefully bring some value to your day with a little bit of love, a little bit of humor, and a little bit of Jesus! :DThere are a lot of things we can learn from each other, no matter what religion you are. I’m here to share the perspective from one Christian in this world. What I share is not meant to represent the stance or opinion of the Christian religion as a whole, nor the church to which I belong. Which, in case you were wondering is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka the Mormons). We all have different views of life because of the different experiences we’ve gone through—as well as the experiences we are currently going through. My hopes is to just share some of my journey with you and the thoughts, beliefs, love, hopes, etc. that I have about it all! Thanks again for checking it out and I hope you enjoy the podcast! Every single day we have a choice to make: to be a hider (someone who just sits around waiting for things to happen) or a seeker (someone who knows what they want and does everything and looks everywhere they can for it).Which one are you TODAY?
We always get so wrapped up in the "small" and inconvenient things that happen in life. But it's not always something to blame on the devil. Or God for that matter. Sometimes, stuff just happens--because of choice. We all got it!Thanks for listening!www.diviniawater.com See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

What are you LIVING for?? Value isn't just in the things that you are willing to die for, but what you are willing to live every day for. In this episode (that has been a long time coming!) I share my thoughts on purposing or even re-purposing ourselves and living as Justin Su'a would say..."On Purpose, With Purpose". See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Too often do we try to do things by ourselves. Jesus Christ is here to help us carry our burdens.Over the last couple days in class, we've been talking about Matthew 11:28-30 and how Jesus Christ offers ultimate rest for our souls if we will just come to Him and give Him our burdens. He will help us carry them. His grace will give us strength. His grace will give YOU strength. His grace will give you support. His grace will give you peace. All you gotta do is go to Him.Have a great day! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Happy Friday podcast peeps! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! Thanks for listening. We cannot go about learning Godly things in a solely worldly way. That's just not how it works. We have to go about it spiritually. Hey podcast peeps! Today's episode is just a little bit of a taste of some of the content that I was giving some seminary students today for the first day of school back from Summer! The kind of results you get match the kind of effort you put into it. If you want the same results, keep doing the same thing. If you want different results, do things differently. It's simple, but hard, but also possible! Don't give up! Love you guys. You guys know what your schedule is going to be for the year. Take a look at what classes you're taking, when you have to wake up, when you will most likely go to bed considering the homework you will have, your work schedule, etc. As you look at your schedule, plan time for studying/reading your scriptures and praying. If you plan for it now, and include it into your schedule NOW, it will just be second nature come school time! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
We all know how hard it is to come back to school after an amazing summer, right?! It's the WORST! But really it's only so bad because we've gotten out of the habits that help make school at least a little bit more bearable. The next several episodes are dedicated to all of you who are in high school, college, or even parents of students! We want to share with you some of the things that we know will help you as you prepare for school in about 2 weeks prior!Let us know if there's anything specific you want to hear or have questions about! Number 1--Your value exists independent of other people's opinions. Number 2--If you want to share your value, don't be stingy with it at first! Give it to them! Today's episode is about something I've been thinking pretty deeply about the last several days and am very excited to share with you today through the form of recording my Instagram Live! I decided that I'm going to start interacting with everyone more on IG as much as I can through Live videos!I really appreciate you if you listen to this (and read this!) so much! I hope it brings you some sort of value and inspires you to do the same in providing some value to someone else!Have a great day! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

This episode gets a little more personal than I had planned! But that's okay because it's about something that I've been committed to for a long time, along with something that i've been trying to do to increase the meaning of it! I can't tell you how timely and needed today's episode is for me. Pride, the kind that is selfish and self serving while putting others down, gets the best of us at times, but we just need to be reminded of the powerful force that overcomes it: Love. Love for others more than self, love for serving others, love...for others. Let's refine our legacy, huh?! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
I genuinely hope your day is going well, and if not that you find something that can overcome any negativity with even more intense positivity.
A little glimpse into the conversations we have with one another during the summer. All in getting prepped to teach our best for y'all students! It's okay to feel like you don't have the full 100% that you would like to give. Sometimes that happens. But when you're in those moments, allow the power that comes from the grace of Jesus Christ make up for what you may feel like you lack. Even allow Him to provide the healing to the pain that may be there because of what you feel you lack. It's okay not to have that 100% you wished you had--just give 100% of what you do have and let things work themselves out. Because they will! I really hope today's message provides some value for you and anyone else that you think needs it. We all are on the path to "better." We all want to be better than we currently are. We're all on different paths to get there. The more intentional we are about anything, the closer we are going to get to the actual result we want! I don't know why it's taken me this long to realize that, but better now than even later in the game! Today I just wanted to share some thoughts with you that I had yesterday. I really feel like it applies to a lot of us, because as good Christian folk, we are always trying to fill our homes with the Spirit of God, right?! Well, here are some of my thoughts. Hope you enjoy! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Why do we strive for balance so much? I know that may seem like a ridiculous question, but really think about it.
