Burnt Popcorn is a show where Mike Gorman and Charlie Shipley watch a "Good" movie, and a "Bad" movie each week and decide if the good movies really all it's cracked up to be and if the bad movie is maybe better than you'd think. Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
A crazy week over here at the Burnt Popcorn studio. Charlie is away for the weekend so the Michael will play. Don't worry, he's still in the episode. But now Mike is uploading this one and he gets to say wacky things like, In-N-Out burger is just ok. Reminisce about how hunky 1999 Brendan Fraser was. And reminisce about a better Indiana Jones movie. Also, please tweet at us if you know the answer to that question about booze turning into blood and if that means the blood of Christ is no longer His blood. Thanks! Y'all ever go on the internet? Some freaky stuff out there. Someone in my Myspace Top 8 tried to murder me once. Wild. Anyways, I'm off to meet up with this Nigerian Prince who says he needs more money. Weird he didn't want to meet in the consulate though... It's at some warehouse in Dayton Ohio. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support

On your mark, get set, GO!!! This week on the show the boys take a look at two car movies. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
Another week, another episode of the CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED film review podcast Burnt Popcorn. This week, the boys take a walk on the wild side as they watch two movies about those mangy mutts and sniffin butts. That's right, this week is dog movies, and boy howdy are these some G-Dang good ones. The boys talk about White Fang, a movie from Disney in the 90's where Ethan Hawke is trying to survive the Gold Rush with the help of a wolf, versus The Call of the Wild, a movie where Harrison Ford is trying to survive the Gold Rush with the help of a dog. Would you believe the novels these were based on were written by the same guy? Man, I could really go for a Gold Rush chicken sandwich from Roy Rogers. You can't get those in New York... Not easily at least. No shit, this is not a joke, when I graduated from community college my graduation meal was driving 70 miles to a rest stop halfway to Rochester, just so we could get Roy Rogers from it, and I could have a Gold Rush chicken sandwich. Anyways... Enjoy the show! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
Hey all you cool cats and kittens. This week on Burnt Popcorn the boys have an absolute bangerino of a show for you. Mike and Charlie watched Milo and Otis, a movie about a crazy cat and his dog friend going on adventures, and Homeward Bound, a movie from both their childhoods about 2 dogs and a cat who are just trying to get back home. Listen along as the boys rediscover their childhood joy, and also discover the absolute lawsuits that should've been involved in the making of one of these movies. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
It's season 2 everybody!! We made it. The Boys are back from their holiday break and to kick off such a joyous occasion Mike and Charlie are watching the greatest piece of art ever printed on film. They also watched Citizen Kane, which is another movie that exists in the same space as Tommy Wiseau's classic 2003 cult film The Room. Strap in for a wild time, I'm gonna go drink some Scotchka --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
It's the holiday's everybody, and Mike and Charlie are subjecting themselves to some really good (and not so good) Christmas movies. In this episode, the boys are watching two movies featuring that classic Christmas mascot Krampus. Will they be able to keep the holiday spirit so as to not summon the real Krampus? Or will they succumb to the Bah-Humbugs and fall victim to his wrath? I don't know, I'm just a bio, stop asking me and just listen to the G-Dang episode, my guy. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
Hey guys, welcome back to Burnt Popcorn! This week we have a matchup like no other. We have the Wizard of Oz, Victor Flemmings masterpiece of a film, going up against Return to Oz, what I imagine made Victor Flemming come back from the dead just so he could die again. Will Mike and Charlie survive whatever the g-dang heck this fever dream of a movie is, or will the boys succumb to its horrifying mangle of a children's book? --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
Oh boy do we have a real doozy this week. Mike and Charlie have traveled all the way back from the year 2029 to track you down and force you to listen to their podcast where they compare Terminator 2: Judgment Day to Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Some call it a fate worse than death, and to that, I say, "Hey... that's pretty mean, we work kinda hard on this thing." --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
This week on Burnt Popcorn Mike and Charlie have a slam dunk of a showdown. It's Air Bud, everyone's favorite basketball playing K9 versus Air Buddies, what happens when you decide to not stop making Air Bud movies! Enjoy this three-pointer of an episode as we try not double dribble over our sentences. Hopefully, we don't airball while dropping dimes from downtown. Man oh man if you ask me this podcast is a real swish, a real buzzer-beater. Is that enough puns yet? I'll keep going until you listen to the episode. Where are you going. Don't leave, please. She took the kids this is all I have. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
This week on Burnt Popcorn Mike and Charlie tackle one of the greatest Slasher movies of all time and one of the okayest slasher movies of all time. Watch the Boys slice and dice their way through Friday the 13th a movie that says, "I really like that Halloween movie. Let's steal it." and The Mutilator (or Fall Break? who cares) a movie which says, "I really like that Friday the 13th movie. Let's steal it." --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clipsters/support
